Yay for you! Such good news about still being und. I'm awaiting my 3 mos. results which is crucial - should know on Monday. Seems that everyone in our study at my location has remained und. Glad to hear that your scalp has gotten well enough for the weave. My hair is not coming back very well. I've been in a wig since July and it will be MONTHS before I won't need one at work. Sure beats that scalp rash though, doesn't it!

hi, i am 14 years old and i have really bad scalp promblems i dont know how i got it, its not dandruff though, my scalp gets really flaky, itchy and white and i been using alot of different kinds of shampoo thats not helping. recently i got this sore in the middle of my head i been to the doctor and my dermatologist and they determine is a fungas infection and i dont have any bacteria or anything like that.

It may not be withdrawal related cause I feel pretty much back to normal other than that. If anything the itchy scalp is causing stress haha.

I get this feeling of something crawling under my skin and scalp and I get very itchy. At night is when I get it most. what could this be?

I have had a flaky dry yet oily scalp for a little over a year now and have been under alot of stress lately. Three days ago I noticed small spots on my scalp that look like scabs. I have tried head and shoulders, tyea tree oil shampoos, vinigar and even peroxide and nothing has helped the flakes and what not. Now I am a suspicious about the scabs. Please help!

When o got pregnant I had a really itchy scalp. I switched shampoos and it helps a lot. I went from using tresseme or however its spelled to using head and shoulders dandruff shampoo and I no longer have an itchy scalp. The same thing happened with my body wash. Everything made me itchy so I switched to baby body wash.

I began having an itchy rash on my arms which got under control with medication, but once the scalp began itching, nothing works to relieve it. I didn't know where to post this or what to entitle it, but I have a question about first meetings. My husband has large itchy, flaky skin on his scalp and in his beard and mustache. It flakes in large yellow chunks that tend to be quite thick and if scratched off will often bleed. It is embarassing as he has large yucky flakes falling out all the time. He has tried prescription shampoos which worked for a couple months only. Now he uses a different kind of shampoo and conditioner every time he washes his hair which helps a bit but not much. Also have used different oils, etc.

But now, I still have itching where the rash was, and an intensely itchy scalp! I always wear a hat in the sun, so I dont think my scalp was ever sun-burned. The itch is not that unpleasant, kind of like the itch one would get, from an opiate, so I havent been taking any more anti-itch pills, because I avoid extra meds, as a genreral principle, in my daily life.

problem after he has any illness ( flu, fever etc) his scalp breaks out with very itchy bumps under the skin which he then scratches and they become horrible scabs. They are small but annoying. I took him to doctor thinking headlice or something but doc said no, these are caused by fatigue and prescribed nizoral shampoo. Has anyone ever heard of this or have any suggestions. He has no allergies that we are aware of.

I am prone to excema but it usually disappears by now. I have tried nearly everything to get this under control but it like my scalp seems to get used to it and gets worse again. This is affecting my social life terribly. Hi, I am visiting my sister. She has just finished her 3rd chemo (taxol/carbo-IV) She is having a time with nausea and it is day 9. she cannot take compazine. she uses zofran but I was told that is not really effective for delayed nausea. ] About 3 weeks ago I found two cold-sore-like red painful itchy bumps on my lips and my lips felt extremely dry and chapped.
