It's probably just a dry scalp. Try that stuff they use on babies for a dry scalp. I can't remember what it's called, maybe craddle cap or something. You can ask the pharmacist.

i have a habit of scratching my head even if it is not itchy. whenever i slip my fingers onto my scalp i kind of feel a rough tiny tiny thing and i will pluck it or just scratch it of. it would always be a very tiny piece of dead skin and sometimes it would be a tiny white solid really tiny. i did not lose hair or feel itchy but im scared.

I used Clobetesol solution (prescription) for my scalp. I had an itchy scalp which was associated with a rash on my scalp. It worked great.

Honestly i do not know when it started but i am always using my finger to rub on my scalp looking for something to scratch off , i have a serious problem with dandruff it comes and goes and sometimes grow over night. I put my hair half up half down (mine is long) so I get it on my lower scalp (above my neck, on scalp behind my ears etc) and crown/top of my head. You really dont need it on your hair, just scalp so splitting my hair works best. Only wash it every two days. Dr can prescribe clobetasol for itchy spots if it gets worse. Water, sunshine and keeping stress low also helps a lot:) I hardly have issues anymore.

I had extreme itch and burn on my scalp. It drove me crazy. I found that doing coconut oil treatments on my scalp help control this for a few days at least. Now that I am on SOC only, the itch is more Ike bad dandruff, just annoying. I still use the coconut oil bet less often and it still helps. Coconut oil comes in a jar at your grocery, sort of solid like shortening. Microwave some for 10 seconds, just to liquify, not hot.

So I've had this spot on the back right side of my lower scalp upper neck for at least 3 years. I've been able to ignore it, but at times it'll get really itchy to the point where if I scratch it too much...clear liquid would come out.
