Try some shampoo and conditioner with tea tree oil and menthol.

I used Clobetesol solution (prescription) for my scalp. I had an itchy scalp which was associated with a rash on my scalp. It worked great.

I would say probably is the pregnancy because our skin gets more sensitive even tho you never changed shampoo maybe you should try one a little lighter and sensitive. But I can't say for sure I've never heard of an itchy scalp like you've described but that would be my best guess.

My only other thought is dry scalp?? Do they make a dry skin kids shampoo? Any other ideas as to what this can be and how I can help her? Thanks!

I am 13 weeks and for the last week I have extremely itchy scalp!! I have not changed my shampoos recently, and I don't have lice lol. I did start a high blood pressure pill last Monday, but can not find anything to do with that.

I've never had any issues with my hair, but all of I've noticed when washing it and brushing it alot more is coming out than normally would. And it is alot thinner in just a couple weeks. My scalp is itchy like no other and I've used ever dandruff shampoo, home remedies, even cortisone cream on my scalp...nothing seems to keep the itch away.

I also have had the problem with an itchy scalp that feels like it is burning. I have to use shampoo/conditioner that does not contain soy protein or any type of soy. I hope you get some relief.....

For my scalp I use is a tree tea oil shampoo. It tingles a bit on your scalp when u wash but it relieves dry scalp which causes the itch. I hope this helps and good luck with your little guy!

m 29 weeks and FTM the most annoying symptom to me right now is my itchy scalp I try not to scratch or pat but it only seems to make my scalp more itchy an hard to go asleep .

s rosemary mint and it totally changed my hair and scalp. No more flakes or itchy scalp for this lady (; the scalp benefits has even helped people with psoriasis. I went and bought the big bottles with the pumps but if you're unsure you can try a smaller bottle for a lesser price. Try a sulphite free shampoo I found that was causing my itchy scalp the drug stores sell sulphite free, conditioner is okay it doesn't appear to have sulphite in it ..

My scalp is very red, slightly smelly and itchy, however it is only down the centre part of my hair. In addition, I am losing handfuls of hair every time I wash it. i am 21 yr old boy, in the center-back of my scalp there are small non itchy white bumps, seems like layers of dandruff , when i harshly comb at tht part then a lot of dandruff gets created, i use zpto and ketoconazole shampoo but these non itchy bumps remain.

It is embarassing as he has large yucky flakes falling out all the time. He has tried prescription shampoos which worked for a couple months only. Now he uses a different kind of shampoo and conditioner every time he washes his hair which helps a bit but not much. Also have used different oils, etc.

Also i used a scalp shampoo for some symptoms like psoriasis etc, and it made my hair feel sticky and i don't think i have those symptoms.
