Common Questions and Answers about Itchy rash with white bumps

Hi, I keep getting these extremely itchy red bumps (surrounded by a rash) on my face.Sometimes theres nothing in them, but other times there can be a clear liquid or white (white head) pus in them... They come up at anytime of the day/night and calm down about 1 hour after they come up...Showering is one of the worst triggers. I seem to think this has something to do with the unexplainable dead skin build-up that I get on my face...

I have red itchy bumps with white heads on them on my thighs, butt and vaginal area. They kind of look like mesquito bites and range in size from a piece of corn to a silver dollar. They usually are really itchy for a few days then they start to go away and I get another one somewhere else. This has been going on for about 2 weeks. I am in a committed relationship and have been for over a year so I dont think its an STD but I cant seem to get rid of it. Any suggestions?
The simplest reason could be a heat rash. itchy rash with white bumps is often due to eczema. It can also be an allergic reaction to jewelry, washing detergent or clothing. Poison ivy, poison oak, environmental allergens etc can all be the cause. It is difficult to diagnose on net. Please consult a skin specialist. Take care!
I also noticed that both my nipples are sore and itchy, while my left nipple has developed little red bumps, one directly connected to the nipple itself. I also had an itchy rash/discoloring on my finger. As i scratched it, I noticed little white bumps on it. It spread to my pinky finger and stopped there. I'm treating it with over the counter Cortizone Cream and so far it appears to be healing nicely. I've been taking 2 Benadryls when it gets worse at night just so I can sleep.
All seemed fine until 2 days ago when I started to itch and there are some white /rash bumps inside my vagina. My husband and I have had unprotected sex several times sence and he shows no syntoms at all.. I went to a local doctor and tested negative for Chlamydia and he said it did not look like a STD or Yeast. He stated that it is probably just a negative reaction to the laytex condoms. Does this sound right?
My 5 year old woke up this morning with a red & itchy rash coving most of his body. Its worse on his back, neck, behind ears & stomach. Through out the day it has not gotten better or worse really. Looks red and pimple like. Very small bumps my if I sqeeze it white puss comes out. He has not eaten or been exposed to anything new or different. Help! What is it? Do I take him to his pediatrician?
I have noticed small white bumps under my breast. Could this be because of heat? I've been sweating a lot lately. And my bra along with the nursing pads makes it even worse.
I have recently discovered a few small, hard, white bumps on the outside of my anus. The bumps are painless and I can't tell they are there until I shower. I pulled one off, thinking it was a pimple, and it caused bleeding --naturally. The bump was relatively "clear" and didn't contain any puss or the like. I am an 18 yr old gay male and have only been with 1 person. I have recently been tested and am negative for HIV, herpes, syphilis, and a couple others I cant remember.
For a couple of months now, i have had to deal with an itchy rash on my left arm. It seems that when I scratch my arms, these bumps appear. Sometimes they appear to have a white center. I find it most irritable at night.I also notice that if I go to bed with minimal scratching, the bumps don't appear to be as raised the morning after. I am concerned for several reasons.
for the past few months i have had itchy skin and i get out breaks of white blister type bumps anywhere that it itches these are various sizes and are raised and not really red what could it be ive been the doctors and he gave me antihistamines but they have not worked
If the pruritus does not resolve with the conservative measures mentioned, I would highly recommend to have these bumps checked by a colorectal specialist. Take care and regards.
I have an itchy 'rash' on my face. it started off about a year ago on my chin then it spread over my cheeks and forehead. It looks like red, slightly raised, acne looking spots. When I scratch my skin, after the redness goes, the spots turn into tiny tiny white blisters. Sometimes the spots just appear for a few hours then simply disappear leaving no marks. I have been using natural hydrating, anti-inflammatory, anti itchiness creams which help but don't it.
for the past 7 days itchy bumps have been spreading all over my skin, it started in the public region, and has since spead all over my arms, back, chest stomach and legs. Ive been applying hydrocortizone creme, and have consulted medical books, but i can only find pictures but it doesnt look like a parasite or fungal infection, there arent any other symptoms but just the spreading rash that is extremely uncomfortable.
are you sure because i cant pop them there not filled with pus thre just like raised itchy bumps ive never tried popping them because they dont appear filled with fliud and im also aware that is a good way to spread an infection.
Well I decided to get some Tea Tree Oil to treat my mystery rash with and the bumps are only getting worse and itchier and now a couple are starting to show on my other foot. I am going to try to go to the doctor again... a different one... but if anyone has any ideas i would APPRECIATE IT A LOT! I have NO clue whats going on... and it makes me apprehensive to go to yoga/work out bc I dont want to spread anything... plus it is getting so itchy its waking up me at night!
I have had urticaria in the past from heat rash and the rash did not have little white heads. It is likely that you are sweating more and the pores are getting blocked up hence the little white heads. It also looks from the photo that you have an oily skin, and these type of spots are quite common on that type of skin. Have you noticed at all apart from the sun, whether this is linked to round the time of your period?
hey doc simalar to this 2 i've been having this rash/irration for the past month or so its white bumps i wouldnt call them blisters but there really small and there all over my scrotum which caused it to be red it was only on the left side of my scrotum and i was treating it with over the counted jock itch spray well it worked but ever week it would come back for a day or two and just leave and my scrotum would be normall as the day i was born the irration doesnt hurt much at all only if its bee
Now they appear to have spread still all on her left side from her back to her stomach. She says they are not itchy, but are painful to the touch and the blotches have raised white-ish bumps on them. At first I thought they were probably insect bites of some kind because she is very susceptible to bites and reacts strongly to them, but these are not itchy and are quite wide in diameter. Also, I am not getting bitten so I don't think it's anything in the apartment. Any thoughts?
About a month ago a black lesion appeared on my right arm overnight. It was the shape of a grain of rice, but about twice the size. It almost looked as if it were a small burn, but I couldn't imagine how I could have burned my arm in such a strange spot (one inch above the elbow on the portion of my upper arm visible when I look down). At first the spot was not raised, then it began to form a crust around the perimeter. There was no itching.
A couple more days 3 red bumps appeared on my shaft (red bumps with tiny white heads)on the same side in a line with space in between them, they faded with no crusting or scabbing, then 3 more appeared close by again in a line and same thing, (painful and itchy) got antifungal cream from doc and seemed to go away, when almost gone 3 more came up???? Very frustrating going on 5 weeks now, keeps fading and coming, when they fade the skin does look ashy. Any help is appreciated.
The second stage begins on the third to seventh day, and consists of a temperature of 103° to 105°. and a red, itchy rash lasting four to seven days. The rash usually begins on the face and then spreads over the entire body. Koplik spots or little white spots may also appear on the gums and inside of cheeks. Fever may be controlled with paracetamol and tepid sponge bath. If symptoms persists, it would be best to have this evaluated further by your doctor.
