Hello, My brother has a rash on his chest and underarm 4 days ago. At first it was only small,red, itchy bumps and over the last few days it has turned into *****, scabby welts. He says they hurt more than itch now. Like a blister.
He has been taking cellcept for over a year for an eye condition ( for uveitis). He also was taking care of a puppy for a friend. Could it be from one of those things?
I have been suffering from a peculiar rash on my upper chest for about a year and a half.
Initially i thought it was acne (as i had suffered from this on my face), however it looks more like a rash, almost like hives in apperance, and does not respond to acne medication.
It is made up of several red bumps about 1mm in length.

No idea what this is -- but recently noticed that there were tons (like maybe 300-400) 'raised' bumps on chest. Reason didn't notice it before was because they are close to the skin color, and you can only really notice them when you look at them at an angle. Any idea what that is, and how to get rid of it? Incidentally, there also seem to be a bunch of tiny brown spots that also seem to be spreading at maybe a rate of 4-5/week.

I still have the occasional prickly chest. Only when I have a shirt on and pat my chest with my hand. Is it possible that it is only my chest hairs irritating my skin? It has never happened before prior to the encounter with the female as I described. Still no rash, just prickly feeeling. I do sweat alot during workouts and the sensation goes away if I shave my chest area but returns 2 weeks later. I took another HIV test at 5.5 months to rule out that as well.
About a year ago, I developed a RASH on my chest that is similar looking to acne in that it has red spots with tiny, very superficial white heads. Since this was the first rash breakout I mistook it for acne and used an acne spot treatment (benzyl peroxide 2.5%) The next morning my skin was itchy and extremely irritated, and I realized it was a rash and not pimples and the benzyl peroxide irritated it a lot. I then used calamine and benedryl topical lotion with little results.
You can also use a barrier cream with zinc oxide paste or a mild steroid cream like dermacort on the rash. If the rash is itchy,you can take some antihistaminic like benadryl or Claritin.
If the rash persists then it will be best to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.

This started about 2 weeks ago i think, I have a VERY itchy rash on both sides of my butt crack. the rash is mostly small some bigger pink and red bumps some look like pimples some don't. it spread down to my thighs a little, and is very very itchy, its not necessarily painful just itchy. at fist my gf and i thought it was jock itch but the was it looks i am not 100% sure thats what it is.
Let me say thank you for helping me out with this and also apologize if this is a bit lenghty. About 3 weeks ago (oct 8ish) i started with this itchy rash on my arms (outter and inner bicep area). It was just red itchy bumps. Now being a bit of a hypochondirac lol i got all nervous and didnt know what it could be. There was no pus or anything like that just patches of itchy bumbs.
After having unprotected sex with another male, 9 months ago i have develpoed a rash that comes and go's on my chest that is non itchy, and alos a non itchy rash on the palms of my hand which does not go away and has been there for months, also red marks on my penis like thrush that come and go also, could this be syphillis?
I have gone through about 3 rounds of this the last couple of months. First I had a red, bumpy rash on my chest, no itch, felt like tiny bumps. Then it seemed to be on the top & sides of my shoulder/upper arm & upper back. The chest are if scratched seemed to have a minescule hard whitehead in it. It itched at night a couple of weeks. I had a cortisone shot (40 mg), tried different creams, lotions & it went away.
