Common Questions and Answers about Itchy rash on chest

itchy

I have an itchy rash on my chest that started in one area and has slowly moved across the chest (as it fades in the initial area). It actually started around a road rash burn on my shoulder several months back, and is now all the way across my chest on the other pectoral. The bumps eventually form a head which I eventually itch off in exasperation. Please help.
It's reached its way down my chest and now creeping to my sides and belly. It's itchy and burns when lotion is put on it. Have no idea what it's from but I'm calling the doctor. Ugh!! :( It's sooo itchy!!
I still have the occasional prickly chest. Only when I have a shirt on and pat my chest with my hand. Is it possible that it is only my chest hairs irritating my skin? It has never happened before prior to the encounter with the female as I described. Still no rash, just prickly feeeling. I do sweat alot during workouts and the sensation goes away if I shave my chest area but returns 2 weeks later. I took another HIV test at 5.5 months to rule out that as well.

I have an itchy acne like rash on my chest. The rash is made up of acne like sores on the hair follicles, but unlike acne, they itch, and they are generally small without an acne like whitehead. When squezzed there is only a little puss and blood. The rash is generally confined to one small area, although it seems to have spread a bit lately. I first tried treating it by cleansing the area and putting some mild cortisone cream on it.

The doc gives her steroids and zyrtec. It starts to go away, then about 2 to 3 days after she is done with meds it starts itching severly again. She has had this going on for about 6 weeks now.
I've had this for a while now. There's a rash, I suppose, on my chest, back and my shoulders. Sometimes the same thing appears on my arms in single ones. They're like little pimples but they're all together and they itch badly sometimes. They do sometimes get white on the tops like pimples that can pop. What is this? and how do I get rid of it? Help?

Now there are tiny read dots, most not raised on both his back and a few on his chest which is where the itchy seems to be contained to this area. No change in meds/detergents/soaps, we have eliminated all those possibilites again to no avail.
There is alot of them now on my chest and on and under my breasts. Also still on the armpits and under my adomen. Some have formed on the insides of my thighs and the rashes is terribly itchy. It is predominantly on my legs and buttocks, but occasionally arms as well. So far, nothing on my back, head, hands, genitals, chest, stomach or feet. I do not have any fever or cold symptoms. The only thing that I can think of really is scabbies, however from everything I have read this generally starts out armpits, hands, etc- all of which I have had no itching at all. Is this just an allergy? I have not changed washing powder, is it perhaps a food allergy? Any help would be appreciated!

Woke up at 7AM and rash was gone, got ready for work, cold today, so put on long johns. Now same rash on back of thighs, legs, around stomach and sides, extremely itchy, now has spread to ankles. Area around thighs is the worst very large bumps formed that were all attached together, some started bleeding from itching. Hives or urticaria causes red and sometimes itchy rash on the body such as face, neck, trunk, arms, and legs and perhaps anywhere on the body. They are usually allergic (food, medication and insect stings) but may also be due to infections and stress. Many a times no specific cause for them is ever found. They usually go away on their own, but in sometimes oral antihistaminics (such as cetirizine, loratidine, benadryl available over the counter) may be needed.
I have gone through about 3 rounds of this the last couple of months. First I had a red, bumpy rash on my chest, no itch, felt like tiny bumps. Then it seemed to be on the top & sides of my shoulder/upper arm & upper back. The chest are if scratched seemed to have a minescule hard whitehead in it. It itched at night a couple of weeks. I had a cortisone shot (40 mg), tried different creams, lotions & it went away.
I have had a rash on my lower stomach below my belly button for several months now.It is itchy at times but i have been using anti itch cream which only seems to help once in a while. It is light red and blotchy and is surrounded by what looks like goosebumps. What could it be?
After recovering from a serious upper respiratory infection (Amox with Augmentin prescribed), I broke out in a terribly itchy rash. At first it appeared to be like scabies, so was treated for that. Then, at times it was hive like (even the scratches raised up like hives). It is not everywhere, underarms, breasts, naval, lower abdomen, back. chest, shoulders, wrists, hands. There are many small bumps mixed with bigger hive like bumps. Very, very itchy. Calamine helps.
I have a red dry feeling, slightly scaly rash on my throat and chest. It is very itchy and kind of burning. I have had something similar in the past which turned into hives all over my face and body. Allergy tests revealled a severe birch allergy, but nothing else. This also started at the same time of year, when my furnace comes on in the fall. Last year it lasted from Oct.- March! I won't be able to get in to see a dermatologist for approx. 6 months.
