Common Questions and Answers about Itchy rash neck chest

itchy

I have developed itchy upper chest and neck over last few weeks without a rash. I am 42, could this be a symptom of pre menopause?
I have developed an itchy and burning rash on my chest and neck for the second time in a few weeks. The first time, I'd been working in the yard and thought it might be some sort of contact dermatitis and so I applied calamine lotion several times a day for about four days and it disappeared, leaving an area of my neck and chest peeling and then healed. It began again last night and I didn't work in the yard yesterday.
For a few years now, I've been getting a red blotchy chest/neck rash in circumstances where I - am drinking alcohol, anxious, nervous, excited, upset - really feeling just about any emotion. It's gotten to the point where I do not expose my chest/neck ever - and cover up whenever I can. I had read once that taking Niacinimide could help - and I've been taking about 1000mg of it for a few months, but am not seeing much improvement.
It is also not a uniform rash. Its somewhat scatterted all over my face and neck and in the middle of my chest. I had this same rash appear mysteriously around 6 yrs ago during the winter. If it was somewhat of a cold day my face would develop this same rash. It was brought on by the cold air. My hands would also itch. I took YEAST FIGHTERS by Twin Lab for about a month and it disappeared. It has now returned. I had strep throat 2 weeks ago and was given Cipro since I am allergic to pennicilin.
When I get out of the shower after taking a long hot shower, I have noticed that sometimes I have a red rash around my shoulders and chest, and up on to my neck. Sometimes noticable on my face as well. I've had this for a few years now, but never really thought anything of it, since it goes away after a few minutes. It happens after sweating too, and sometimes just when I undergo drastic temperature changes I feel.
I have a rash around my neck and on the front of my chest. It started out as little spots but they have grown bigger. The spots are a pinkish color and they have a different texture than my skin. They almost feel softer than my skin. They are not raised at all and they are slightly itchy but not all the time. I am baffled as to how to make them go away and they just slowly keep getting bigger. I don't know if they could be from wearing a sports bra every day or what???? Help!!!!!
I have this rash which started on my face, neck and ears and has now spread to my arms, stomach and back. Its looks like small pimples with no whiteheads or anything on them. They are REALLY itchy, especially on my neck, which burns. I've only had them for a few days but they're getting worse. I haven't ate anything different or used any products that i don't normally. Any suggestions of what it could be? I've searched the net but haven't found much yet.
I have an itchy blotchy rash on my back, with several raised bumps (there are no blisters/heads to them). The whole red area is about the size of the palm of my hand, excluding my fingers. It started a couple months ago as a couple bumps where my bra strap is sewn into the back part of my bra (note:not a new bra). I really thought it was just the bra that was itching and tried several different bras (new & old).
Hi, Miliaria, sweat rash or prickly heat, is a skin disease marked by small and itchy rashes. Miliaria is a common ailment in hot and humid conditions, such as in the tropics and during the summer season. It occurs when the sweat gland ducts get plugged due to dead skin cells or bacteria. The trapped sweat leads to irritation or prickling, itching and to a rash of very small blisters, usually in a localized area of the skin.
I have had a rash like small hives around the neck and upper chest, very itchy I have gone to the doctor several times and have gotten steroid injections and have only helped for a week and then its back, currently he put me on Predisone 40 mg and have tappered to 5mg and now the rash is back. It seems to surface at night and I noticed that I am real sweaty at night not to mention very itchy. I do have Rheumtoid Arthritis. Could there be a connection?

16 year old boy complains of itchy neck, chest, and stomach...causes and remedies..
So, I have had this mysterious kinda blotchy rash on my upper chest and lower neck now for 3 days going on 4. It's very itchy and hot and uncomfortable. I think it may have started when I was at a softball game lying on my stomach on top of a blanket on the grass, but then again my sweatshirt and the blanket were between me and the grass and this has lasted several showers since then, so I'm beginning to doubt that theory a little.
then i discoverd a red rash formimg on my neck and chest..then discoverd clear bumps on my hands..what could this possibly be...does it sound like heat rash??
I'm a 44 yr old wf. I have a recurring rash on my chest area. It is very itchy. It comes and goes. It had red itchy bumps and when it starts to go away, the skin looks scaley. This has been going on now for about 9 months off and on. In the past 2 weeks I have also been experiencing right side chest pain. the pain seems to later extend to my neck and then I get a terrible head ache.
In the beginning of the week, I noticed a pimple on my chest, so I popped it. A few days later, my chest, neck, and collarbone become really itchy, so I tried to use some lotion to sooth it. I also used calamine but it kept itching. It's now been almost a week, and the irritation isn't as bad, but what I am concerned about are the areas where it was itchy - mainly my neck and collarbone - has developed small, raised moles that are brown in color, circular and the size of a pinhead.
It's spread over the top of both feet, around the heel, up both legs and on my hands too. Yesterday my right arm was extremely itchy and came up in red bumps. My neck and chest are itchy but not as bad. My left foot is still definitely the worst affected, I can't stop itching it it's so bad. Most things I've read have mentioned contact dermatitis, but I don't think thats right. I've never been allergic to anything or even had a bad reaction. My skin isn't overly sensitive.
10 days ago I had a couple of white dots near my eye area, and now it has progressed all the way down my neck, chest, and stomach! They are red and they are all over the place. But they are not on my lower body!
