I realise that my eczema gets worse when i get my allergies, it starts with the skin around my mouth getting gradually itchy, sometimes with vesicle fomation on my lips, and the next day my eczema gets worse and my mouth would look darker than usual. Am on mild daily anti-histamines as prescribed by a dermatologist and am using a hydrocortisone cream for the eczema around my lips. I would like to know about the connection between my skin allergies and the eczema.

Hi I am a healthy 26 year old woman. About three months ago, I had an itchy rash on my chest area, shoulders and back. My doctor diagnosed it as pityariasis. I had a biopsy of the rash and it showed that it could be a type of dermatitis or something viral. I took a medrol dose pack to get ride of the rash along with some ointment. About a week or two later, I developed hives on my back. They were flat and slightly raised.

I went to another dermatologist on Monday and he diagnosed me with BRP, Brachialradial Puritis. There is no real scientific explanation to this yet. In the first mo. or so...I got that around my mouth...Itchy lips and itchy around the mouth. I felt like Ronald McDonald. I started to moisturize with a lip balm..not just on lips but around mouth. I was thinking..candidis. Next day went and got plain organic yogurt w/acidopholis and added some fruit, a lil honey and have been eating that since. I have recently developed a large bump/lump near my vaginal opening, but it is not located on the vaginal lips. it has been there for 2-3 days, has grown in size, and it has become pretty painful. The bump is somewhat hard and appears to be under the skin, not a pimple like form with a whitehead. although when it was smaller and not painful i squeezed it and some white, puss like fluid came out.

It started at the start of the year on my chin and now it's all the way up to the top of my cheek near my hairline on my left side.
