I have a non itchy rash on my abdomen after a few days in Mexico. What can it be? It's flat, purplish (might be red but my color is brown) and doesn't hurt.
I did cut my leg while jumping of a cliff (very small area) which was bleeding while I was in the water. Is it possible it's an infection?

My daughter went to Cancun Mexico about one month ago. She was coming out of the ocean, and said that she scrapped her knee on an underwater rock (or something). A month later she has a section of bumps on her knee where it was scrapped. We have been putting Calomine lotion on it but it hasnt changed it at all. She said it does itch from time to time, but the lotion helped the urge to scratch.

Also, this is the second time a complication develops from a mosquito bite while I was awake. Like I said, the rash was flat, very itchy and warm, but it also swelled a bit and occasionally felt stiff 2-5 days after the bite. The doctors' opinion is that this year multiple such cases have been registered due to disease-infected mosquitos. Granted, I still cannot determine whether the rash was due to a self-inflicted infection, external disease or oversensitization.

Now home, three days later i still find this a problem. I am also experiencing light headedness and an itchy anus. Should i visit my doctor or wait for it to pass?
8 weeks later I came down to a full blown cold, I had ear infection, loose stool, itchy skin, brown rash on the skins, and mouth ulcer that will take weeks to heal.

I neaver quite put the two together because I have neaver heard of Lyme Disease before. I was in Mexico horseback rideing when I first saw what was a large bump (red) ..I thought it was a horse fly bite or mosquito or something.But it was tender to the touch. I just got back from that part of Mexico. I had one larger itchy red bump below my knee, and it seemed just itchy. I thought it was poison ivy and small enough that it would go away if I didn't mess with it but it has since started spreading. I feel like it could be spreading from a towel when I'm out of the shower or pulling my shorts up over it because it seems to be spreading up. I read some stuff about chiggers in that area? Anyway there are only 5 bumps, I have included a picture.
