Common Questions and Answers about Itchy palms on left hand

itchy

Avatar n tn I have had itchy dry palms for over a year and I have been told that it was stress eczema. I have been on medication for pain and that pain has lead to stress and depression I have seen at least 4 Docs. and it keeps coming back. Balms and butters help dryness and sometimes an anti hist. may help with itch. We live stress full lives and don't eat and sleep right. I hope you get some relief and try to de stress once in a while.
Avatar f tn Hi I have been woken up in the night by my left arm aching and have to get up to take pain killers. It is an ache type pain either usually in the in upper arm or forearm. I also seem to have red lumps/blotches appear around my body. So far had a few on my waist, then one on my shoulder, one on my back that seem to come and go but don't hurt. My palms of hands can be also super itchy and again this morn were a bit red at the base of hand. Any ideas what it is? should I be worried?
Avatar n tn This actually cleared up the patches around my knuckles/ back of my left hand. The one on the back of my left hand was huge. There was one small patch that did not seem to be effected though on the back of my right thumb. A week after I ran out of perscription for the antibiotic, the bumps everywhere else started reappearing. I continue to take the nystatin stuff (I have 3 weeks of it) But it doesnt seem to do anything at all. The patch on my thumb is getting huge.
Avatar f tn There are red itchy and irritated bumps on both palms. Some itch, some hurt a little. I have a few on my right hand where you would develop calluses, but especially on the fleshy part just below the pinky. Last year for the first time I developed a patch of eczema over my eyebrow, so I wouldn't rule that out, but this is something brand new for me. Is Cortisone Cream the answer? haus26 This discussion is related to <a href='http://www.medhelp.
Avatar n tn I may get one or two and the a wekk later get more each time on the left or right hand. could this be Herpes? Does Herpes appear in exactly the same place each time? Can it appear on both hand in various places? I have looked up things, and phompholyx looks similar, but mine does not itch at all!!!!! What could this be. I am paranoid of the whole herpes thing! I have no other symptoms elsewhere.
Avatar f tn For the last month I have been waking in the morning to an unusual very small white bump or bumps on my hands. Usually around my palms or on the palm facing side of my fingers. Sometimes the bump or bumps will become itchy and are usually tender to the touch. They are white but, sometimes appear like a red dot. At first I mistook it for a spider bite or something of that nature. After loads of research online, I am still left clueless as to what it could be.
Avatar n tn "Hand foot and mouth disease (HFM) is a viral infection characterized by fever and a typical rash most frequently seen on the palms of the hands, soles of the feet, and inside the mouth" that isn't it, there aren't any bumps on the palms/soles of feet/mouth. Also, it isn't red colored either.
Avatar m tn for the last six month iam feeling severe burning in my both hands This discussion is related to burning and itching on palms and soles.
Avatar f tn Usually on the soles and bridge of my feet, on the palms of my left hand, some of my fingers, between my breasts, on my left nipple only and one spot on my head but its always on the same places. It feels as though it gets inflamed or worse when I scratch but the itch doesn't go away. Skin appears normal no rash whatsoever. Been like this for 3 days now. What could it be?
Avatar m tn I am suspicious about being infected, I tested 2 months negative and waiting to do another test after one more month. I feel burning, sometimes itchy palms, numbness also existing. I would like to mention that a month ago I had pink rash in my hand palms and foot soles, and skin was peeling, but it got back to normal now. what could this be? is somehow an indication to HIV?
Avatar f tn It is just the one spot thats extremely itchy, no where else on my hand/foot etc. This occurrence happens once every month or so. It is constantly itchy, not itchy, nothing for 2-3weeks then the cycle will start again. I don't put anything except cream like lubriderm incase I think it is dry, but its just the one spot that is itchy, not the whole hand etc. It isn't a very big spot either. I have some pictures too. I would really like to know what is going on, thanks!
Avatar n tn Over the last week I have noticed that my left hand shakes when I hold it out palms faced down. My fingers twich. My right hand is very still. When my hand is at rest it does not shake/tremor at all. I am so worried about it and think I may have PD or MS or something like that. Thanks for reading.
Avatar m tn What are these little holes in the palm of my hand? They don't hurt, I've had them for some time now, definitely more than a year. They're only on my left hand and when my hands are dirty they get dirt stuck in them and can be difficult to clean.

Avatar f tn re really small, they would barely be noticeable if not for the red color. They basically just give my skin a bumpy texture. On my hands, most of them are on my right hand, on the sides of each hand where my thumbs are, and between my top knuckles and nails. There are less bumps on my feet and most of them are on the sides of each foot where my big toe is. They don't have fluid in them and are not itchy or painful, they just make moving my hands and feet feel weird.
Avatar f tn Another interesting thing that is strange is that it is always mirrored to both hands, so if I am itching on the index finger on the right hand it also itches in the same place on the left hand. At most, the itchyness is worst on the centre of my palms, close to my wrists.
Avatar n tn I have cracks at finger tips as well. Started with one finger on left hand spread and ended up in both hands. My child has bad eczema and had a bad break out recently and I have to lotion him up every time I do a diaper change. Now my hands are constantly in lotion and I've cut back on hand washing and sanitizing (I almost have an OCD problem) I'm seeing better results and less pruning cracks still remain though.
Avatar m tn s red and varies in sizes of blotches but is more prominent on my left hand. some of the blotches are kinda raised, and on my left wrist i have about 4 red spots that look like midge bites. my other side of my hands has a few red spots on them too. they are quite itchy and i thought it might possibly be scabies? they sometimes get very itchy and just look unsightly. i have just noticed there are a few spots on my foot aswell. i noticed on my penis shaft that there are about 3-5 similar spots.
Avatar m tn When the rash first showed up around the base of my thumb, it was quite itchy, which may have led to the spread, but I am not sure. To look at, my left hand is worse than my right, they look wrinkled, dry and skin is peeling at the tips of my fingers and thumb.
Avatar f tn I have an area on my left palm, triangular in shape, about the size of a nickel. It itches and is slightly pinker and more 'leathery' like. The skin will peel, then heal, and there are flattened circles that appear to be under the skin in a few places, almost like a blister but no fluid or raised areas. I have tried an antifungal, wart medicine, and now am trying hydrocortisone. It never goes away but seems like it has shifted a tiny bit. I am so bewildered by this!
Avatar f tn ve been reading the forum threads - very helpful - but no one has noted my exact problem, which is itchy bumps on the palms of my hands. Not red, or white, they seem to come from within. My Dr. said they are probably not bites, as insects do not break the skin of the palms (too thick), and thinks it might be an allergy (to WHAT???). He gave me some corticosteroid cream (this one has Fluocinonide), but it hasn't helped much yet (have used it for a little over a day).
Avatar m tn I noticed a couple subcutaneous red spots on my fingers a couple weeks ago and it was sensitive to pressure and recently more of these have showed up. They are pretty sensitive and are now showing up on all five fingers on my right hand. They are mostly on the pads of the fingers with a couple on the sides and one on the top of my index finger that feels and almost looks like a hangnail. These spots are limited to my right hand only. On my middle finger the red spots almost form a ring.
