Is it true that your nipples being so itchy is caused by pregnancy? Or just at a certain they still grow? And when does your boobs start to itch. Anyone? Help. Please.
Hey! I'm 20 weeks pregnant and my nipples have been extremely itchy, red and irritated. I read this is normal in the beginning of pregnancy but it happens pretty frequently. Anyone else experiencing this?
The past four weeks i have had dry, flakey and itchy skin around my nipples (and sometimes on my nipples). I eat well and have not changed my diet, i drink plenty of water and i have tried several creams to clear up the skin. I haven't changed body wash, soap or clothes detergent. The only thing out of the ordinary was my miscarriage 6 1/2 weeks ago, surely it can't be related! I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this or has any idea what this could be from and how i can help it?
im 14 weeks and my nipples are soooo itchy! Did not go through this with firat pregnancy! I have tried lotions and oils...put vasoline on....nothing has worked! im about to itch the darn things off....any suggestions?
How big are everyone's nipples? Mine are larger than the palm of my hand!! And they're sore. It's ridiculous!
not sure why it happens but it's actually a symptom of pregnancy (itchy tummy and nipples) and the bigger your stomach gets the more itchy you can get! Try using oatmeal lotions or lotions w/oatmeal in them, chamomile too. Those are both calming agents and work wonderfully!
itchy nipples is normal during your entire pregnancy especially at the begginig though because your entire boob is growing along with your nipple so it stretches the skin sometimes breaking your skin and causing irritation and itchness and stuff so thats normal i wouldnt worry about it. im not to sure about the dry vagina though.......
I had itchy skin all over during my last pregnancy... Now this time my breasts hurt sooo bad. not really the sipples, but the entire breast. They feel sooo big and heavy, which is ironic cause I'm barely a b cup. haha.
my nipples have been so itchy thus far in pregnancy. I've tried lotions, peppermint oil, mentholatum, etc., but nothing really works. Any suggestions?
I'm guessing that it could be something to do with hormonal changes,a skin problem like eczema or an allergic reaction caused by a new soap, lotion or even the material in your bra. Also pregnancy could cause itchy nipples. The bleeding could be the result from scratching the nipple.Try not to do that,if possible, because you could easily get an infection.
I'm seven weeks today. And around 2 this morning my nipples were extremely itchy.the problem is they hurt way to bad to even think about scratching. First pregnancy so not sure if this is normal or not.
im 16 weeks as of today. For the past week or so my nipples have been SO itchy! They've also started peeling and today i noticed even a little cracking :( i resist the urge to scratch them because it only makes them worse and even hurts! First of all, is this a normal pregnancy symptom? And more importantly, any tips on how i can find some relief?!
aw i feel for u i was so itchy earlier in pregnancy, not much helped me at all i used cocoa butter and bio oil.
Hi everyone So for the past few day Ive been very gassy, feeling bloated and crampy on and off and constipated, and have very sensitive itchy nipples. I had these same "symptoms" and more late last year/early this year and was sure I was preggie but found out it was just the BC I was on (Ortho Tri-Cyclen which makes your body actually think its preggie and once I stopped it and got on Yaz in Feb all that stopped).
Has this n e thing to do with possibly being pregnant? I DO NOT have any STDs. And there isn't n e thing else.. just itchy. Its driving me nuts. Any advice or info out there?
) I often feel like i could claw my skin off (especially my nipples) im 21 weeks today Just another one of those things you have to put up with unfortunately
I have had itchy breasts since pregnancy bc of them growing. I use nipple butter on the entire breast but not the nipples (she wont latch if I use anything on them). The nipple butter which is organic not lanolin either seems to help a lot.
Ok so my nipples have been sore and itchy almost my whole pregnancy (I'm 37 weeks) but right now they itch ssooo bad..I know while breastfeeding your not suppose to use regular lotion because its not safe for baby to ingest..your suppose to use lanolin..well would it be ok to use lotion (or cocoa butter) on them now or should I go ahead and get some lanolin because I'm so close to my due date?
Ya idk why but my breasts and nipples got super dry and itchy with this pregnancy for a few months.use cocoa butter or stretch mark cream to moisturize every single day and it will probably help.
itchy nipples is not a confirmatory sign of pregnancy.. in fact it might be due to dryness even.. if you are very uncomfortable and are experiencing some more changes and have also missed a period and you doubt that u might be pregnant you can go for a pregnancy test..that shall confirm it.. good luck..
Obviously i dont know about the d/c but in my first month of pregnancy my nipples were sooooooooooooo itchy. Like to the point where simon had to rip my hands away from almost scratching them off. I would even wake in the morning with pain there and realise i had scatched them badly in my sleep. Dont know if this is relevant?
my nipples HAVE BEEN itchY FOR ABOUT TWO WEEKS AND THEY STARTING TO HURT. WHAT DO U THINK IT COULD BE COMING FROM? NO NEW DETERGENT OR SOAP HAS BEN USED.
