itchy hands feet pregnancy

m 27weeks and last night I was awake all night with incredibly itchy feet. Had no rash and putting cream on them didn't help. I started itching again an hour ago, and again it's just on my feet!

I had the terrible itching with my first pregnancy. Mine was in specific areas--- the palms of my hands and on my feet. I lived in a brick house and would scrape my hands over the brick to itch it. Like, how pathetic! My doctor said that this happens with pregnancy sometimes. They told me to put Cortaid or a generic brand of that on my palms of hands and bottoms of feet. It helped a little bit but it was still there some.

try to stay hydrated and keep lotion on your hands and feet if they start to get dry. But..... if your hands and feet are sweaty and itch.. it could be athlete foot.. and I would just talk to my doctor.. also.. I hear.. if your palms are itchy.. u may be coming into some money..

Not sure if this is an MS symptom or not but i get very itchy hands and feet. So bad i cannot stop scratching, this happens a few times a week and the only way to stop it is to stop scratching and it will eventually go on its own. Also getting this odd cold. frozen patch on my face, only occasionally and only lasts a few minutes but this is something that has not happened to me before.

I have a case of itchy hands. I can't help but itch, and I get to the point when I keep itching, that I start forming little white bloches, and bumps all in between and around my fingetrs, palms, wrists, and anywhere else on my hands~!! I've tried to convince my mom to take me to the clinic, but she thinks it's a bad case of dry skin.

has anybody that is pregnant experience very very itchy feet on the bottom And hands???!! I know this sounds crazy and I feel crazy even typing it but my hands and feet are itching so terribly bad that it's miserable. Anyone else got really bad swollen hands, fingers, wrists, feet, toes, ankles and sometimes the knee joint too? I'm so over it, I'm 37 wks and had it since wk 32. Putting feet up doesn't help much cos the weight of baby pushes on nerves in my hip. They are constantly hot, tingly, itchy and look horrendous. Had to go and buy the biggest men's shoes I could find and they only just fit with laces opened right up! I know.. only 3 weeks to go, but anyone else suffering?

Funny, in the beginning of my pregnancy my hands were super itchy too. Later on it will be your legs and feet. Now that's worse!

the one i know of that is one of the more serious starts usually in the palms of your hands and bottoms of your feet then progresses to the rest of your body (ICP) and i think most of the others have a rash that goes along with it.... a common not so serious one is also PUPPP but im sure thats with a rash...

m not having a terrible time with it (fingers crossed), BUT I have noticed that my hands have been itching lately..? not the palms, not my arms, not my feet.. JUST the top of my hands and below my knuckles on my fingers? it's so weird.. no new soap, deodorant, detergent, perfume, lotion, nothing! & I don't have a rash either. is this because of blood flow, hormones, etc.?

I hadn't heard of this before but wow I'm going to ask my OB about it bc I'm taking benadryl almost daily for my itching. It isn't PUPP the OB said but this is insane itchy itchy itchy!!!

Itchy skin is normal, however if the palms of hands and soles of feet are itchy or have a rash it could be Obstetric Cholistasis. Which is treated usually with medication and Vit K. Its due to the pregnancy. Call your doctor and have him check it out. No reason for alarm.

Mainly hands and feet. I had 2 have a liver function test and it came bk that i had OC. A uncommon pregnancy related problem. Not sayin u have it at all but they r the main symptoms. Both my boys were born healthy, im hi risk of gettin again wiv this baby. Nothin 2 worry about tho, it goes once u have baby.

There are no blisters, or flaky skin, no dryness and the rash looks like heatrash across my toes but on my hands the whole palm is red like scalding, but only when itchy. If i submerge my hands in cold water, dry them and hold them out infront of me for 10 minutes then the burning and itching subsides but leaves my skin feeling tight for a while. This does not happen everyday, in fact it didnt happen at all yesterday, and is worse of an evening.

Talk to your doctor about it if it happens all the time. Especially if your feet and hands are really itchy! But if its only once and a while then its completely normal. I'm 33weeks when it happens to me its my face that looks itchy, i probably look like a crazy person cus it is really annoying.

Ive not changed my detergants, diet, or my soaps and most of the itching occurs on my hands and feet however its starting to happen other places as well and has woken me up a few times at night. im just curious if this is normal or if its something I should tell my dr on the 10th at my next apt.
