During the day, hydrate and protect hands with a protective and moisturizing cream. At night, repair them with creams formulated from glycolic acid. For a more intensive nighttime treatment, apply cream and then cover hands with gloves or socks. Also wear gloves while doing household work. For the itching take OTC antihistaminic like Benadryl or Claritin. If still the symptoms do not improve then pls get a clinical examination done by a dermatologist. Fungal infections have to be ruled out then.
Apply vitamin E cream over the hands to moisturize the dry areas. As for the weeping and itchy areas, you may apply 1% hydrocortisone cream or 0.05% Fluocinonide cream over the area.

Pompholyx primarily involves the hands and fingers and then may involve the feet. The first stage is acute and presents as itchy blisters on the hands, fingers and toes. Then the chronic stage shows more peeling, cracking, or crusting. Then the skin heals up, or the blistering may start again. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided.
At this time of year I develop red itchy circles on my hands and fingers, fingers are also prone to swelling. They feel slightly tender like a mild nettle rash and tend to itch as the day goes on. I have spoken to various pharmacists but they have not come up with any cause. I would appreciate any assistance someone may be able to offer.
It comes with the swelling, take a Benadryl see if it helps and if the swelling gets worse go into l&d

It is characterized by intense itching, usually at night and by small insect-type bites lesions on the skin. I suggest you to get an evaluation done from a dermatologist and get it evaluated. I hope it helps.
I also have these small, itchy patches of blisters on and between my fingers, thought it was poison ivy but not so sure, nothing seems to help!! Any info would help, thanks!!
Hi, It appears that you may have had a superficial bacterial infection called as Pitted Keratolysis. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitted_keratolysis As I told you this is a bacterial infection and therefore needs proper care under the supervision from a doctor. On the other hand maintaining proper hygiene such that the infection does not spread to other areas is also important. Let me know if you may need more help/information.

I have had itchy palms for almost a full year now, and despite a prescribed cortisone cream, and many other home remedies, the itching still occurs. Even putting non-parfumed hand cream makes my hands itch! Desperately would need some suggestions, after trying benadryl as well.
I have a case of itchy hands. I can't help but itch, and I get to the point when I keep itching, that I start forming little white bloches, and bumps all in between and around my fingetrs, palms, wrists, and anywhere else on my hands~!! I've tried to convince my mom to take me to the clinic, but she thinks it's a bad case of dry skin. She has no idea how much it hurts to be in this condition, and it's only itchy and hurtful, but it's gross and I need a docter, but my mom says I don't need it.

By the afternoon may hands were very swollen - that bad that blisters were forming on fingers and I couldn't use hands. Went to night doctor and told just to take antihis... and should be ok. Next day I was worse so went to another GP and he took a blood test and put me on quarterzone tablets for now. Still waiting on blood test! Now six days and swelling has gone down mostly but I stillhave very itchy hands, head... and lots of red marks over body similar to hives.
Hi, I have been having extreme itchiness on my hands and feet that comes and goes. I feel like I could go out of my mind once it starts. They become red and it sometimes looks like tiny bumps under the skin. This will stop and start for no apparent reason. Could this be my nerves causing this or something more...??? Thanks!!
It has been driving me insane I Google itchy hands and feet while pregnant and a condition popped up obstetric cholestasis or OC I'm concerned because I have a 6 year old and was also extremely itchy with him but never thought to mention it. I meet with my doctor next week and I plan know discussing this with her what I've found about OC is its your liver stops filtering.properly and bile spills in your blood stream.
It itches only on the tops and between my toes and fingers...ive read about the soles of your feet and the palms of your hands becoming splotchy red and itchy while pregnant but mine are strictly the tops. I dont have a rash of hives or anything...the only bumps and cuts on them are from me scratching so much. I initially thought it must be from my feet and hands swelling due to all my water retention...

Usually the peeling palms last a week to 10 days. This time my hands and fingers and now my feet are peeling. This would suggest it is internal. It has lasted this time for about 20 days. I live in a smaller place now and to see a qualified dermatologist could take months. Also I have been hydrating my hand with what the pharmicist reccomended, it didn't contain a steroid. I could use any help. Thany so much.
Eczema is one condition where the hands get dry and peeling occurs. In this disorder contact with triggering factors like soaps, cosmetics, jewelry, clothing, and detergents causes symptoms. Sometimes sweat, changes in temperature and psychological stress are known to trigger these episodes. The best way is to prevent attacks by identify those substances which you are allergic to and avoid them. So, Allergy testing would be worth looking into.
