itchy hands and feet liver

Hi ladies im 34 weeks and lately my hands and feet get itchy and I dont know why is this normal

My feet and hands are very itchy and my feet are swollen! I'm 32 weeks will someone please tell me what it is!!

I'm 29 weeks and all of a sudden I have itchy feet. It's driving me crazy. Have you experienced this symptom and what did u do?

m 27weeks and last night I was awake all night with incredibly itchy feet. Had no rash and putting cream on them didn't help. I started itching again an hour ago, and again it's just on my feet!

The rest of my body is fine. But I feel like my feet are burning up. Is this normal and what could I do to help it?

Does anyone else have an intense itching in the palm of your hands and/or the bottoms of your feet? It comes and goes but when it itches it drives me insane. It burns as well like my hands are on fire but there is no rash and my hands aren't red. Is this common?

I had it with both of my pregnancys I would call and make appointment ask for blood work of your liver enzymes and also and ultrasounds of your guallbladder and liver.

If i was you, i would call dr or make an appt. I was itchy all over my body especially hands and feet. They took some blood for testing and diagnosed me with Cholestasis. It has something to do with my liver...im being induce on September 19 at 37 weeks because its a risk for my baby.

My boobs and stomach of course but also my arms, arm pits, back, wrists, the palms of my hands AND feet. My neck and chest. Everything itches! I've tried lotions. I've tried different body washes. I need help! Its so bad I scratch till I bleed cuz it feels so good! Should I talk to my doc about this?

I have liver problems because of HEP B.I now have very itchy hands.My hands are red because of itching them.I have no rash. Is it because of my liver .

As time proceeds and I notice what aggravates the ache in the stomach, I do at least now know that it IS getting worse even before AND after eating. My hands have spells and my feet always get worse at night. I'm waiting for the bloodwork. So: Can anyone give me any other tips on how to get my diet worked better into treating my liver nice? I mean... I know I can cut fat - it's mean how it aggravates the ache! I'd be sooo thankful for any kind of advice.

I had a midwife appointment today and she was talking to me about the signs of pre-eclampsia (excuse my spelling) and she advised me this was one of the things to look out for. Im obviously not trying to alarm you, just abit of advise she gave me today.

Urinary frequency and urgency usually suggests kidney issues such as urinary tract infection. Pins and needles sensation in the hands and feet may suggest neurological issues as well. It itches only on the tops and between my toes and fingers...ive read about the soles of your feet and the palms of your hands becoming splotchy red and itchy while pregnant but mine are strictly the tops. I dont have a rash of hives or anything...the only bumps and cuts on them are from me scratching so much. I initially thought it must be from my feet and hands swelling due to all my water retention...

I'm 33 weeks and everytime I lay down, my hands and feet itch so bad that it keeps me awake at night. I've tried washing them, rubbing with lotion and ice packs to try and numb the pain but nothing helps. Has anyone else experiecnced this? It's 2 in the morning so I'm debating on just waiting until morning to call my doctor, it's just so uncomfortable I don't know what to do. Anything helps.

I had a liver transplant 5 years ago and still, though less often, get red palms and itchy hands and feet. He gave me a Rx for the itching. Ironically, it was the same Rx given to treat my child's itching related to Chicken Pox (Varicella Virus). It helps some but warm or hot water still stimulates terrible itching of my hands and palm redness that can last for a few days.

Anyone else got really bad swollen hands, fingers, wrists, feet, toes, ankles and sometimes the knee joint too? I'm so over it, I'm 37 wks and had it since wk 32. Putting feet up doesn't help much cos the weight of baby pushes on nerves in my hip. They are constantly hot, tingly, itchy and look horrendous. Mainly hands and feet. I had 2 have a liver function test and it came bk that i had OC. A uncommon pregnancy related problem. Not sayin u have it at all but they r the main symptoms. Both my boys were born healthy, im hi risk of gettin again wiv this baby. Nothin 2 worry about tho, it goes once u have baby.

Hi I, too, get very itchy hands, feet and ankles. I use Eurax cream and Telfast 180 and they work a treat. I normally get my itches at night after I have gone to bed and it just drives me crazy. That's why I am out of bed now at 3.00am in the morning, looking up this site to see if there is a connection to the itch with MS. I have not yet received an official diagnosis but hopefully when I see my MS specialist in December, I may get some answers.
