I am so itchy! I put lotion on and it isn't helping what can I do to help the itching stop?

i had a c section got stiches also , i think its normal ! i also get ichy were my cut is its just healing i think (: congrays on your baby!

At first it was just on my legs and now it has gotten worse and its pretty much everywhere but my neck and face. Looks like a rash..small bumps, very itchy and when I itch them really bad they turn red. It seems to get worse everyday! I'm not allergic to anything and I haven't changed anything in my diet or used any new lotions or body washes or anything like that. Really the only thing that has changed is, I had a baby! So I didn't know if it was hormonal ?

27 years old with my 1st baby@ 37 wks. For about a week now my feet have been swelling. I've cut all sodium from my diet and been monitoring my blood pressures and for signs of pre-eclampsia. Dr just told me to prop my feet up and try to relax ... Is there anything else I can do to reduce this uncomfortable swelling?

I'm 29 weeks and all of a sudden I have itchy feet. It's driving me crazy. Have you experienced this symptom and what did u do?

m 27weeks and last night I was awake all night with incredibly itchy feet. Had no rash and putting cream on them didn't help. I started itching again an hour ago, and again it's just on my feet!

I'm wondering if anybody else has experienced itchy and sweaty feet? It hasn't ever happened to me until recently. It's so weird! They sweat now and I actually do wear cotton socks. Sometimes flats and they still swear. Wth?!

When standing, my feet get hot, red, swelled and also itchy. This morning, and other times in the past, I've noticed that when I stand for little amounts of time, my feet become very hot and uncomfortable. It could be as little as 5 minutes and it begins to happen. They get itchy and really red. What could this be?

Have you seen a podiatrist? Perhaps that would cure some of your problems. I think that bloodwork should also be done to test for any other factors that might be causing the numbness (high hemoglobin, etc). Good luck!

At 3 weeks postpartum I started having a sensation of crawling under my skin on my groin and buttocks then it spread all over my body within a month. I started getting even worse symptoms as time went on.

im almost 2 weeks postpartum and im covered in a weird rash...it LOOKS like a heat rash, but i don't think it is because it's every area of my legs and on my forearms stomach back and hips....its not just in crevices or on the back of my knees. its not very itchy, the only part that really itches a little is where it is the worst, on the top of my stomach..anyone else experienced this or know what it could be? i have no health insurance other than medicaid..

I gave birth 7 days ago to my daughter &now i am very itchy and sore down there. i am also having a greenish discharge along with bleeding. I have been using the spray bottle the hospital gave me to cleanse the area and chilled witch hazel pads to ease the itching and burning. After delivery I hemorrhaged and lost about 3 liters of blood. Could this have anything to do with my itching/pain/discharge or could I possibly have an infection?

During the summer months, I get small itchy blisters on the arches of both feet. The blisters come in groups of 2-5 and they are very itchy. When I burst them, a clear liquid is released and the itchy desists. The burst skin then dries and peels. I have been getting these for many years and would like to find a permannent cure.

I have intense itching and thickening of skin on my feet. The only way it is relieved is if I itch until I remove the thickened layer of skin which will have a small papule or many clustered together attached to it, leaving a pit in the area it was removed from. That area of itching is then relieved. I have also seen what appears to be a hairlike root attached to the skin that is removed-again leaving a deeper pit, though it is more like a fine "wire' than a soft hair.

Where are you scratching? Please get checked out, this happened to me postpartum and 8 weeks later I'm still suffering with Pemphigoid Gestationis, a rare skin condition! It's very itchy and painful and I was in hospital on a morphine and antibiotic drip for 11 days so please get yourself checked out as its more common during pregnancy.

It hurt the most wheni breastfed. Not too much you can do other than relax and put your feet up or lie down with baby when you can.
