Hi, cino, I, too, have maddeningly itchy joints in my feet and sometimes in my knuckles. I have scratched them until they blistered, scratched the blisters until they broke and hurt, then medicated them and bandaged them because the pain was tolerable, whereas the itching was not. I also have fibromyalgia and, having read the responses of others here, I think we both should start keeping a food diary, annoying as that is.
I have had small itchy water blisters all over the bottoms of both of my feet. I have gone to the Dr. in the past and they have prescribed me athletes foot medication that always made it worse. In between my toes itch all the time too and the only way for me to relieve the itch is to use the rough part of a sock and rub it back and forth between all my toes which then makes them RAW and bloody and they still itch.

Hello, Over the last year and a half I would wake up with acid indigestion in the middle of the night. In December 2008 a rash started on my hands and soles of the feet, then other patches appeared on my chest, arms and legs. My throat is slightly swollen. My hands burn when submerged in warm water and both my hands and feet burn during the night when I sleep. These patches are not raised but appear as red blotches in the skin.
Hi, The two most common causes of that type of symptom would be athletes foot or an eczema (dermatitis), an irritation to the skin from some kind of external factor. If it were a reaction to an external factor I suspect it would be occurring on both feet. So without actually examining you I will lean towards athletes foot. Two things must be accomplished to control athletes foot. 1.

Hi, I have had an itchy rash over my legs for the last two weeks. I had mild bruises initially after coming off my bike, and then later itchy patches nearby. They were round patches that were red, darker on the outside of the patch, getting lighter inwards. I had a patch test for a hair dye on my right arm around that time, and my arms have had with raised areas that itch since around then However I did not get any skin changes or itching around the site of the patch test itself!
I have been getting red itchy bumps mainly on my legs, ankles, tops of my feet, and occasionally around my waist. They itch terribly and eventually turn into scabs that take forever to heal? What could it be????
I had two large purple circles (damn near symmetrical meaning same shape and on the same areas of my feet) on the top of my feet. My dermatologist in Pennsylvania (different than my doctor) prescribed me Cutemol--an emollient cream. It cleared the p. purpura right up! They did a bunch of blood work and everything is normal. The petechiae for me comes and goes. Never had a big issue with it until this month (4.5 years after I was diagnosed). Are your feet itchy?
all itchy arm sufferers....please look into brachioradial pruritus. My arms, and only my arms, have itched for 10 years. no rashes, no psiorias, excema etc. The creams, allergery pills..my list is extensive as to what I have tried but nothing worked. ---------------The only thing that helps are ice packs.
It now covers my body from head to feet in round clusters of tiny blisters. VERY itchy! I recently started using cortizone10 an anti-itch cream to try to keep from scratching. When I scratch and rupture the blisters it turns into staph and gets even worse. I've been to doctors, dermatologists, oncologists & gastroenterologists. My last dermatologist finally did a skin biopsy and the results were, "dermatitis". Well duh!
I'm now 34, but when I turned 19 I became a vegetarian, and during that time I developed small itchy blisters between the fingers on my right hand. The blisters would eventually pop and there was a clear, sticky fluid that came out. Prior to going vegetarian I had no skin problems at all. When I turned vegetarian - aside from cutting out meat - I made a number of changes to my diet.
My 4 1/2 year old daughter just recently had itchy feet. The symptoms: bottom of one foot (just last nite thought had itchiness on either ends of her toes - inside-inbetween baby & 4th toes). Red little welted bumps. Very itchy. What could it be? Is she allergic to something she ate? Something she's wearing? No other bums anywhere else on her body. Do you think it's related to too much moisture on her feet? Sweat? Or eczema? Heat rash? Your advise will be appreciated.
I have a strange rash on the bottom of both of my feet. It was on my feet for a while when I started school again, and went away when I wasn't in school anymore. I just started a new job and it came back worse than ever. It's very itchy, it doesn't bleed but it's making me really nervous. Any suggestions to get rid of it? I want to make a doctor's appointment, but like I said, I just got a new job and I don't want to ask for time off yet...
But I still have to take my beta glucan capsules everyday-otherwise the itchy armpits, hands, feet and vulvar lesions return. I also have hay fever and ADD. I have read the allergies can cause ADD and learning disorders too. I wonder if I'm allergic to something I eat that causes this skin problem. I remember hearing of a skin disorder with a long name-which I can't remember what its called-I've been typing my symptoms and googling it on the internet to see if I can find it.
I get a rash that looks like ringworm on my rib and back area, smaller rash like bumps on the back, stomach, hands and they are both extremely itchy. I also get swollen feet and hands. Every few days I will get a little bit of swelling on my lips or eyes. When my feet swell it's extremely uncomfortable to walk. The symptoms seem to come and go within 24 hours, but continuously return affecting either that same or different part of my body.

In April during a 5 hour car trip my feet became very itchy- it itched them and they became red and swollen in areas. The whole foot was not swollen: but certain parts became itchy and red- under toes, sides of feet, a little on top- no ankle swelling or redness. These itchy red areas become hard and painful to walk, the outbreaks last about 24-48 hours. The first time this happened I passed it off to wearing new and cheap high heals for over 13 hours the day before (I teach).
the last few days i have noticed that my feet get really really itchy (under them), red spots top and bottom of feet (not the calf), also under my feet are all of a sudden really dry. I am thinking that because i am able to wear my slippers all day and not have a problem....then put on socks for a couple of hours and take them off to itch sore feet, that i am having some kind of allergy to socks!!!! weird thing is that under my feet (where they itch and dry) it aches....
I also linked the bumps to the summer heat. When I stay cool and put my itchy hands and feet in cool water the itching subdues and then the bumps eventually disappear, but it only takes a hectic hot summer day for them to pop back up. I decided to use natural methods/ life style changes ( staying cool, using unscented lotions and trying not to itch) to treat this problem rather than using excessive creams.
I have very itchy small bumps on my hands and I can't sleep it is very irritating and some hurt. My little brother had a fever a few days ago and the next day he had small bumps all over his body. I also have a very, very soar throat I can't even swallow saliva or water because it hurts really bad.
I saw an allergist after a period of odd swellings and itchy rashes (under my eyes, my lips, even my hands and feet) and found out that I am allergic/sensitive to salicylates- an ingredient in aspirin. It also occurs naturally in mint, tea, the skin of many fruits and other foods.

I'm a 21 year old female and i've been getting this red spots/itchy patches all over my legs, arms, back, chest and sometimes my neck. I try not to sctrach them but they are really itchy. I have longish nails so when I do i get red patchs like a rash all over! I've had this for the past 2/3 weeks and it just keeps getting worse. Sometimes I get curvy squiggly ones along top and sides of my feet and around my ankles and the concave areas. They appear in different sizes some very large and just come and go without warning. They are very itchy and feel inflamed at times if I may add and come quite often. I’m not sure if I’m allergic to anything and I’m not sure if it’s hives but I think they are due to the nature of the episodes. I will be visiting the doctor soon.
then hives. Now im getting a new something....It started with an irritating itch on my hands and feet. it would just turn red and itch...no rash yet. Then about a week later I got the strangest "welt like" rashes. They appear on my back, arms, stomach, neck, feet, and hands...and once on my face. They came in row kinda like this _____ _______. Except they were curved. they itch horribly to the point were i scratch myself till i bleed.
Hives (medically known as urticaria) are red, itchy, raised areas of skin that appear in varying shapes and sizes. They have a tendency to change size rapidly and to move around, disappearing in one place and reappearing in other places, often in a matter of hours. Many cases of hives are "idiopathic," meaning no cause is known. Others may be triggered by viral infections or medications.
