my eyes have been itchy and bit stingy today last night i had 3 hrs sleep could this be coz of tiredness??
I have taken my contact len out in this eye and am wearing my glasses for a few days until my symptons clear. Do you think this is just because I have a cold that my eyes are itchy and dry and a little tired? Does a cold affect your eyes? I have also developed a very small lump like a small pimple on my right eye that is affected - it is a small clear like pimple on the lower inside eye lid? Any advice would be appreciated?

It lasted up to almost my end of the medications and treatment term. My eyes started out around the second month of being very dry and itchy; dry and itchy on the outside skin around my eyes. I didn't have trouble with my vision or inside of my eyes, at that point. About the 5th month of the meds, the itchy skin and very dry skin was still a problem. My GI prescribed Elidel cream, which helped somewhat but not completely.
in the night times mostly, when im tired, my eyes get itchy and a sorta clear gunk comes out off them with irritates my eyes leaving them red. it usualy happens wen ive been watching tv, or on the computer. this have happened for about 4months now. have i strained my eyes or have i got some sorta disease? i have an eye exam tomorrow, maybe i need glasses? please let me know what you think?
There had been a really informative thread here one day about skin & itching, that I cannot locate now, duh...anyway I think it might have been NY Girl (possibly?) discussing with a few others here about the gold bond products & them having a noticable menthol like smell to them. The were so right, I think there were 2 cream choices (packaging 1 green bottle & 1 yellow bottle) but I had taken a lil sniff, so pungent.
I've had the same symptoms as most of you, swollen and itchy eyes and lips that comes and goes. My whole face was also itchy. My fingertips have little bumps all over them. I have not changed anything in my diet or cosmetics. I went to the doctor and she said I have eczema and gave me Desonide cream for it. This helped a lot for the itchy face but all the other symptoms(swollen and itchy eyes and lips, and bumpy fingertips) have returned.
i month ago I noticed that my eyes started to become red basically i'm seeing a lot of blood veins on white color part of the eye , when I went to eye doctor he checked both of my eyes and said it's probably irritation on contact lenses, since that day I didn't wear my contact for 2 and half week + I was taking eye drops that doctor told me to take but redness don't go away. The eyes feel very tired but not itchy , i start developing headaches and my vision reduced a little. What can it be?

I have never had dry eyes before and the last two days I have had blurry vision and really dry itchy eyes. Could thyroid be causing this? I know it can cause some sort of eye disease, but I really don't know much about it. Thanks in advance!
At night when I get tired my left eye gets REALLY scratchy. Not itchy, just scratchy and red. I've already taken my contacts off at this point, so I know it's not the contacts. I then go to bed and when I wake up in the morning its difficult to open that eye because it's so scratchy. When I finally open it there is this thin film (it's like kind of a cream color) over it and I have to literally take it out with my fingers (after washing hands of course).
avid - I haven't had the bloodshot eyes but could they be related to anemia? I sure to rub my eyes more than I should when I am tired. fish - why not - add that to my collection of cremes and lotions. Actually, I am going thru them pretty quickly so there is no build up. Like Strator, I too get those little piles of white dead tissue everywhere.

Thanks for all of your advice on itchy arms - I have suffered this problem for 30 years -it is getting much worse now as I get older - calamine lotion used to help years ago when it was mild -then i started taking antitistimines and they helped for a few years, but now at 55 even they no longer work. It is much worse in the summer months.

They both developed eye infections as a result which resolved easily with drops, but I got infected eyes too which have never fully cleared up. Ever since I have had red tired looking eyes, the eye ball is bloodshot alot of the time, sometimes severely so and the rims are pink. They get very itchy at times and sometimes the eye ball is very tender to any pressure and the bones of the eye socket are tender to the touch. My blood pressure is normal and there is no discharge from the eyes.
Does it sound more like I have allergies or dry eyes? or do I have both? My eyes are not watery and red at all, just really tired and really itchy where those blister looking things are.
The dizziness and nausea is constantly there, low grade but I had 3 attacks at 3 different times and it seemed to relate to my eyes somehow. I noticed my eyes are extremely dry lately, for the last few months. Dry to the point that every morning I wake up already and couldn't open my eyes. I have to rub them for a while then the lids can open. I saw an opthomalogist on Friday who placed 2 tiny plugs on my lower tear duct openings to keep the treat in my eyes.
If I work in my system for a long time my eyes will get tired sooner. When I open my eyes immediately after getting up from sleep i'll feel like the outer layer in my eyes were pulled along with my eyelids and eyes will start watering. This will last for few seconds and then only it will be ok. I donno whether I have HSV I in my eyes. I want to know among these indications which are all related to HSV I ? If I have it what are the possible ways of infecting others?
I have been experiencing this issue ever since I was 9-10 years old, and I’m now 29.. This issue is Heavy Blinking of the eyes, eyes burning, and pressure in the head area. It has been overwhelming at times, this issue becomes worse when I’m stressed nerves or tired. Things that help this are putting my arm over my head, biting my inner cheeks or Cold Weather. Like 50 degrees or colder..

he bought off-brand detergent trying to save money and I broke out in small red bumpy hives...itchy everywhere! Also if you have eczema make sure you are using hypoallergenic lotion such as Cetaphil and a sensitive skin soap (non-fragrence) such as Dove. Hope this all helps!! ALSO make sure you change your bed sheets every couple weeks!
