Avatar n tn Unconjugated hyperbilirubinemia in term and late preterm infants. Premature infants are at greater risk for hyperbilirubinemia because brain toxicity occurs at lower levels of bilirubin than in term infants. As a result, premature infants are treated at lower levels of bilirubin but with the same treatments discussed here. Avatar n tn You might want to mention it to your pediatrician at his next appt, however I have read and was told by our pediatrician that this is normal from time to time in infants. My doctor even asked me if my daughter was doing it and he said if she did, it was normal. She wasn't doing it at the time but she did later - it was reassuring that I was already aware that it is nothing to worry about.

Avatar f tn Most eye muscle surgery is done on infants, and very young children where this is not much of a problem. In adults it is the normal and occurs in the majority of cases. How big of a problem depends on the type of surgery done and the state of the eyes before surgery. You should have been made aware of this before surgery as temporary double or permanent double vision is always a potential risk. In some cases double vision can be a good thing at least for a short period of time.

Did you ever get a test done? I was reading over your posts, and you had some symptoms, but I didn't find anything about actually get diagnosed. If you do have hsv1, you either have it orally or genitally. It doesn't appear on your hand, and it's never just a few small red dots.
