I had this same problem when I was on Accutane, but it went away once i was off the drug. Now it is back and I have been off accutane for over a year. My eyes are not itchy, and there is no discharge to indicate pink-eye. I was tested by an allergist for enviornmental and food allergies and all were negative.
I have switched my eye cream and eye make-up in case it was related, but it is still not better.
Suggestions?

Hi doctor, for the past year I have worked part time at a drug store and my eyes would always get itchy there so I used visine. I realized the visine made my eyes redder after several months so I quit it. My eyes are now generally ok accept whenever I go to work they get super itchy and red. It takes them a couple days to recover fully. Is there anything I can do or should I quit this job? I'd be okay without the job since I have another one.
If not removed, my eyes get itchy and watery and then start to burn. The discharge also leaves behind a residue that causes the same problem if not rinsed out with water. When the white discharge is removed, it still produces like 7 hours later.

The last week my eyes have been so itchy and dry.. it wakes me up during the night. Happens inside or outside. My Dr suggested benadryl, but I don't feel like it's doing much. It just hurts again a couple hours later. I have the allergy eye drops too. Just curious if anyone has had this and other suggestions?

I had a very itchy and sore red rash that circles each eye and the eyelids. the discharge is watery and clear, and I have blepharitis like flakes on my lashes. My eye doctor prescribed drops and ointment and advised me to cleanse wit baby shampoo. It persisted for many weeks until I went to a dermatologist who precsribed an anit-bacterial ointment.
