Itchy ears tea tree oil

Common Questions and Answers about Itchy ears tea tree oil

itchy

Avatar f tn During the day I put tea tree oil on my ears. The aqueous cream was also used at every opportunity (to keep the ears moist and help stop itching) Slowly but surely the itching subsided and the flaky tissue started falling off. Right now the skin on my ears is soft again. I’m only at this for 4 days but the improvements are so good I had to share it. The reason I am writing here is because I know the terrible pain that one goes through.
Avatar m tn I would suggest trying Nizoral shampoo and find a tea tree type shampoo as well and alternate. Try pure tea tree oil on your shoulders and see if that helps. It treats bacteria and fungal infections. Has your diet changed? Did you add a lot of junk food or fruit juice that is not your usual, or anything else new? My skin was trying to tell me I had celiac disease.
Avatar f tn I took a bleach bath. It was also suggested to mix tea tree oil in liquid soap and shampoo. After 15 months I actually started clearng up within three days. i was so bad that I also mixed tea tree oil and water and sprayed my hair and body as often as I could. The website suggested you do this for three weeks to kill any eggs. Despite I felt better in three days I continued using the tea tree oil for eight weeks. I also used a Qtip, sprayed it and cleaned my ears and nose.
Avatar n tn Try Tea Tree Oil available at most pharmacies or health food stores.
Avatar m tn Hello, I'm a 32 year old male. About 5 weeks ago I developed a rash around my groin area after shaving. I thought this normal as it normally is uncomfortable for while, but the itch developed into a rash that spread (?) to the right side of my penis, scrotum, penis head, web of fingers, wrist, behind ears and around eyes (very mild around the eyes). The rash is characterized by small, tiny bumps with slightly pink colored skin around it.
945934 tn?1289046024 It seems to weep and generate a crustiness I noticed. I have tried dandruff shampoo, neosporin, lotion, tea tree oil, and plain petroleum jelly. All have worked to a point, but the itchiness and scaly skin still continue. It comes off in flakes. I do wear glasses and use a headband when I go to the gym which I thought caused it. Keep it clean and dry after showers but it hasn't helped. Anyone have something that works?
Avatar m tn Lotrimin cream or tea tree oil are treatments, but be sure you follow directions to get it cleared up.

Avatar f tn I have the same issues- had thyroid cancer, removal of thyroid. I use regular shampoo with tea tree oil and find that it works better than dry scalp shampoos. Tea tree oil also helps in the bath with skin dryness (probably any oil would help- I've heard Olive Oil helps too, but tea tree works well for me.
Avatar n tn Ruled out food alergies a few years back. Have tried Melaluca which is tea tree oil - although that helps aleviate the itchiness at times would still like to find the cause as they appear regularly.

Avatar f tn I agree with Dawn, and also, I would condition the scalp, with coconut oil, a day before I did wash it. I also got a prescription anti-itch pill, it was called Atarax.
Avatar f tn Try tea tree oil for scalp. Small bottle. walmart in aisle for african american. It's gentle. Use bras with soft breathable material...no foam. When you shower no soap on nipples, but when you are done, put alittle tea tree oil & dry with towel or air dry. Use it anytime, but i only have to do it in the morning and night. I've had 2 tiny very itchy bumps and no doctor or mamogram or ultra sound or blood test has found a solution yet. I have been with this problem for about 5yrs.
Avatar m tn ve been bagging my clothing, changing clothes multiple times per day and vacuuming and doing laundry daily and self-treating with a series of prescriptions and over-the-counter medications and supplies such as tea tree oil and coconut oil (applied to the skin) and bathing nightly in borax/epsom salts water (5x/week) and dilute bleach (2 x/week).
Avatar m tn The treatment that is now working has several elements. First, to sooth my scalp, I am using chemical-free shampoos and conditioners (often with tea tree). I use them after a dandruff treatment, the t/gel dandruff shampoo set that contains 3 types of dandruff control, all of them are anti-fungal. I also use tea tree or sea buckthorn soap, which are natural antibacterials. (not sure that is needed, now i think it is a fungus). To sooth my skin, I use jojoba oil and chemical-free lotions.
Avatar f tn Tea tree oil is also great to relieve itchy skin,I presume tea tree shampoo would be good for itchy scalp.Always ask your doctor first if it's ok to use.
Avatar f tn I dnt have some great product to recommend bc honestly it doesn't matter wt u use unfortunately there will be itching & sum of us will get stretch marks no matter wt. Wt I will say is stay away from scented soap or use one that's light like dove or baby wash. After u get out the shower slather a lotion or cream on while still damp then follow with a butter or an oil. Do this after every wash & night. If & when u wake up itching or any time rub the butter/oil in.
Avatar f tn For my scalp I use is a tree tea oil shampoo. It tingles a bit on your scalp when u wash but it relieves dry scalp which causes the itch. I hope this helps and good luck with your little guy!

Avatar f tn I get mosquito like bites that come in groups, are raised and usually come when when I get off from bed. I spray tea tree oil and it stops for some while but it starts again. They are itchy and spread when I scratch it. Sometimes they swell up to become red blotches. They appear all iver my body, even face. I cannot see any bed bugs or mites but I'm not sure of what is causing it.
