My daughter is 17 months and has developed big red itchy bumps on her legs, arms, and stomache area . They look as if she was attacked by some kind of insect and itch her like crazy. Please help me find a cure for this . I hate seeing my daughters little body like this .
I started getting itchy bumps about six months ago. They look and act just like midgy/mosquito bites but are not. They are: On my neck, scalp, edge of face, shoulders, chest and back. NEVER below my waist and not on my arms. Not fleas or bed bugs (they turn up at random times even when I'm not staying at my house for prolonged periods). Not puss-filled. Not scabby except when I've scratched so much that they bleed.
I thought they might be spider bites, but they didn't look like it up close so I figured they were mosquito bites. But they still didn't act like they were. I have two on my inner thigh, three on my stomach, and one on my chest just under my breast that I just found today. I'm not sure what's going on, and I'm trying to find answers. They are no bigger than a penny right now, itch like crazy, and when I touch them there's a weird burning and sharp itchy pain.
A FEW DAYS AGO I WAS WATCHING TV WHEN ALL OF A SUDDEN MY CALFS STATING ITCHING I SCRATCHED THEM THEN THESE HARD BUMPS FORMED THAT LOOK LIKE MOSQUITO BITES. THEY ITCH REALLY BAD SO I PUT ITCHING LOTION ON THEM AND THE NEXT DAY THE SAME THING HAPPENED ON MY ANKLES SO I PUT CREAM ON THEM TOO. ALL OF THE BUMPS ARE STILL ITCHY THOUGH I ENDED UP SCRATCHING THEM IN THE NIGHT THAT I MADE THEM SCAB.

It is characterized by intense itching, usually at night and by small insect-type bites lesions on the skin. Diagnosis of scabies is made by scraping the skin and viewing the material under a microscope to see the characteristic mite or eggs. I would suggest you to get it evaluated from a dermatologist.
I have these red bumps primarily on my lower legs 2 on each arm, and one on my back. First, about 4 days ago, I got 5 ish, and I believe that they were normal mosquito bites since I'd been outside. The marks are still there but vague. Then this morning I woke up and realized I had gained about 16 total more "mosquito bites", decided to wear pants and boots to school, and when I got home and changed to shorts, realized I had gained another 12 "mosquito bites".
I wear pants with a belt. And like right were the belt touches my skin like when i sit down is a red itchy spot. I think it is from my belt but its been there for a long time and it still itches. Im not sure what it is.
Last summer I started to notice itchy bite-like bumps appearing on my skin. They look like normal bug bites (though my bug bites usually turn to welts), but I cannot see an entry point. They are raised and red and usually appear in groups of two or three. They usually only appear between my breasts and my knees, and on my arms and back, and also sometimes on my feet/ankles. They are very itchy and unsightly.

If the bumps become itchy then you should get it evaluated from a dermatologist. Till then, you can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin.
Mosquitos have always been biting since I was a young girl.. When I turned seventeen and I would get "eaten" by mosquitos all of the bites were normal reactions--just little red itchy bumps--except one which always turned into a large welt about 3-4 inches in diameter, extremely itchy and painful, and very hot to the touch. Since then (I'm now 23) this has been the trend... EVERY TIME I get bit, one mosquito bite--it can be anywhere on my body (arms, legs, etc.
Every few weeks, I get one or two severely itchy bumps on my check or forehead that that look exactly like a mosquito bite. Embarrassing as a high school teacher! Has anyone found a name to this?
The more I itch in certain areas, little mosquito like bites form on my skin. They aren't red or contain puss, but are just raised clear bumps on my skin. They are on my legs, stomach, crotch area, and have begun moving onto my arms. Please let me know was you think it could be thanks!
I had my carpets cleaned, my home sprayed for insects, steam cleaned all of our mattresses, and now, I am at a total loss. These bumps appear at anytime and look like mosquito bites and itch terribly. They started on my stomach, then moved to my shoulders and back. The bumps then appeared on my arms and now on my legs and back to my stomach. Very weird to say the least. I have been using white vinegar to ease the itch which seems to work temporarily. I am also taking Benadryl.
Me and my fiancee woke up three days ago with random bumps on our hands, arms, neck and face that looked like small mosquito bites, except only slight to no itching. There's no pus or blistering so far. But we can't nail it down because of a few conflicting diagnoses. So I'm looking for any other ideas. Here's what we have so far: - Bedbugs: Possible. I spent last week traveling and could have brought them home.
i have tiny itchy itchy bumps on my hands most of them look like ant bites a few look more like just red itchy bumps on my pinky there is maybe two or three red bumps together they almost look like mosquito bites. have some around my elbow and have some in the under arm close to the armpits. but i do have alot of these ant and mosquito looking bites on my fingers and palms.
They seem exactly like mosquito bites, which I thought they were at first, but there is now more and they have been there for at least a month. If I scratch them too much they begin to weep and the area becomes red. No puss or anything comes out of them, so could it just be ingrown hairs or sort of pimples caused from sweat and irritation in the crease?
Hi There is a common skin condition called hives or urticaria, which causes red and sometimes itchy bumps on your skin. Hives can occur anywhere on the body such as the trunk, arms, and legs. Hives are usually allergic (food, medication and insect stings) but may also be due to infections and stress. Many a times no specific cause for them is ever found. They usually go away on their own.
But, I started getting really itchy one day and I got little red bumps on my penis, balls, inner thighs, butt, back and stomach. It's like a HORRIBLE mosquito bite gone crazy. I itched so much that i got a rash on my inner thighs and i itched at my balls and penis so much that the bumps got bigger. And being active all the time and sweating in my boxer area did not help at all. I went to the dr and told them that I thought it was because of new laundry detergent.
A month ago, I got these little red dots on my back and stomach. they're really itchy. suddenly, they've transferred into my arms and legs. after sometime they're gone, my skin became "chicken skin". and now when I feel itchy and scratched my legs, red itchy bumps will appear. They're like mosquito bites. But when I stop scratching, they will be gone after few minutes. What could these be? I have been to dermatologist, she gave me ointment and oral med, but still they're not gone.
A few hours after we came in I was itchy on my arms, legs and ears. At first I thought it was mosquito bites and would go away after a day. But three days passed, and I am still itching! I am using Hydrocortisone Cream USP 2.5% on them and they seem to be relieved but only for about 10 minutes. I can't help scratching them! They are also taking part of my sleep time away just trying to keep from scratching! I have multiple bumps on my arms and legs.
You might get a few in a row on your skin and you can confuse them with spider or mosquito bites. You can clearly tell they are insect bites. The bites can get infected and you can become allergic to them. Incidently, my vet recently told me there is a difference between cat and dog fleas too. Cat fleas are larger and longer in size. Regardless, if you are getting flea bites you will be able to find one or two on your body or in your bath water.
Hello, These itchy red bumps on feet can be due to insect bites or mosquito bites, contact dermatitis, allergies, sweat dermatitis caused by the socks, scabies bites or other skin causes. Wear shoes that fit properly and keep feet as dry as possible. Wearing wet shoes, boots and socks will increase your chance of developing such symptoms. Also take an antihistaminic like Benadryl and apply calamine lotion for soothing the skin.
So, last weekend I went to the beach and camped in a tent with 4 other people, including my boyfriend[friday night]. In the middle of the night my boyfriend said he woke up and some one had left the tent open. I didnt seem to notice to much [that i can remember] having too many bug bites.
They are small, reddish bumps on my skin that are mostly appearing on my arms and legs, and they itch like a flea or mosquito bite. They itch for about an hour, and then fade after a day or so. I shower daily and wash my clothing regularly, so I have no idea where this is coming from, and they appear throughout the day. Shortly after the bites started appearing, I spent a week visiting my boyfriend in another city.
