Common Questions and Answers about Itchy bumps on skin kids

bumps

Scabies are tiny microscopic bugs that can get on your skin and cause itchy white bumps that ooze. I would recommend you go to the doctor right away. There is a cream that will treat it and you will also need to treat you clothing, bedding, stuffed animals, anything that you would clean as if you had head lice. I hope this helps.
Hi, I was wondering I had this patch of well I thought it was dry skin it was kind of scaley when I noticed it and itchy so I would put cream on it and it seemed to releave it some what well now in its place the skin discolord a little and the itchy dry skin is gone. On my neck i notice i started to get small red bumps that are itch they are close together and itchy some are filled with a clear sort of liquid the frount of my neck is getting red now and it is itchy now to.
They appeared to be flat to the skin but when i looked at them they were a little raised. The rash was on the knee so i assumed it was a grass rash but when i checked here an hour later it had spread to the other knee. This had worried me a bit.I asked her if she had been around any of her friends that had anything like it. She told me her friend had talked about some of his buddies having "scabies".
I have moved into a new house about 6 months ago. I noticed after I moved in I had red, itchy bumps on my hands, stomach and thighs. I went to the DR and he told me that it is because of my sweat! Well I have never had this problem before! I believe it can be something in the house or the water. Our water has a lot of lime rocks (yes rocks) b/c we live near the river. I was wondering if maybe that has something to do with it. Or maybe mold?
To small skin coloured bumps have come up on my thumbs and they are really itchy will they go eventually?
I recently had try skin on my finger which turned itchy and became broken skin. At first I thought it was beause I had been itching it but I kept it clean and used e45 cream regularily. After about 2 weeks I discovered tiny little rough skin spots which were sometimes itchy, through touches my feet and hands it has spread. I've been told its dermatitis or maybe something else. The spots are not sore just itchy and hardely noticable. Seems similiar to what happened to you..
They look most like a large pimple that is under the skin. I forgot to mention that when I went to the doctor on Sept. 7, I only had 2 bumps on my vaginal lips. I noticed two more bumps today. I did get the herpes blood test (as well as a blood test for all other STDs). It was negative. However, if I did get herpes from this encounter, it would have been too early to get a positive. Prior to Aug.
I too got those little pin head bumps on my lips and have a reaaaally bad rash on my penis as well. It ******* *****. Hopefully this medicine my doctor prescribed me will work okay, he gave me some steroids that are supposed to help speed it up. Any tips you might want to add since you've gone through it twice now?
this could be herpes but odds are it's something else going on. Herpes never presents are bumps under the skin. what treatments have they given you so far? I'd certainly try warm compresses to the area and/or soaking in the tub with some epsom salts thrown in too over the weekend. give the clinic a call monday to see if any of your test results are back yet too. you can contract hsv1 from oral sex but the risk of such is low.
I realized I was wearing the same socks as the trip and my lower akles below where my other bumps were are more itchy red bumps as well as new ones on my shoulders, back and legs....not a bunch more but all the less more. I again used my athletes foot cream since it was helping the itchies before, now not itching but all the same I feel itchies all over....now I am probably just mental itchy.
i have also noticed little bite lookin bumps on the side of my stomach which look similar to the itchy bumps on my thighs and butt but only smaller. I am very concerned because i have been using the cream as told and the issue does not seem to be getting better at all. Any ideas on what it may be? IM SO ITCHY! and it looks so ugly!
Got em - red bumps, skin tags, scraggly thingies growing like cabbage - real attractive! I am keeping the high neckline shirts going until the sweat comes out my pantslegs! Wasnt "Red Bumps on Neck" an old Willie Nelson song.
For the last 20 years I have gotten small red bumps on the sides of my fingers. They don't blister. They start out as one or two and then I might get a few more and they seem to cluster up on only the sides of my fingers. They are not itchy but they are sore to the touch when you run your finger over them. It feels like you have a splinter. They are slightly raised and red in color. They will stay for varying lengths of time and then dry up and go away.
We then had house guests (2 parents and a 3 year old) and the 3 year old and mother got the bumps (about a half dozen for each). While they stayed with us the bumps spread wildly on my 1 year old including to her scalp and back of the neck, and surprisingly and extensively on the mother (abdomen, under breasts, arms, and bikini area and chins). The house guests departed after staying at our house for 3 days, and their bumps began going away within 24 hours.
The bumps are not particulary red, they are really hard to see, easier just to feel the bumpyness on my skin, but they are pretty itchy. In addition to the patch on my back I now have a patch on my chest, above my breast, that is particularly bad. The doc gave me a steriod cream and an antifungal, neither seem to be helping. The redness is decreased on my back, but it is still raised and itchy.
As an infant she had eczema, so I thought maybe it was that, but she doesn't have any redness or bumps on her scalp. I don't think it's dandruff because thereare no flakes. We wash her hair every night in the shower with kids shampoo and use regular adult conditioner. My only other thought is dry scalp?? Do they make a dry skin kids shampoo? Any other ideas as to what this can be and how I can help her? Thanks!
have not had unprotected anal/vaginal in many years, but have had unprotected oral sex on 3/4 occasions in past year - with girls of dubious nature shall we say. Have had red rash on forearms for 4/5 months now. First on the right forearm, then on the left after about 3 months . The bumps are raised, rough, red and some appear to have a green centre like a zit. A hair focaile raises up through them.
Mine do itch, and I don't lay out in the sun or do tanning beds, but if the skin on my legs or arms is exposed to the sun, my skin becomes itchy and they multiply. I hate the way they look. The Dr. told me that its skin damage from sunburns that I recieved in the past for laying out, and he let me know that they are never going to go away. Hes the second over the last 10 yrs to tell me....
For the last month I have been waking in the morning to an unusual very small white bump or bumps on my hands. Usually around my palms or on the palm facing side of my fingers. Sometimes the bump or bumps will become itchy and are usually tender to the touch. They are white but, sometimes appear like a red dot. At first I mistook it for a spider bite or something of that nature. After loads of research online, I am still left clueless as to what it could be.
Hello, Apart from viral infections, an allergic reaction to different allergens can also cause such itchy red bumps all over the body. I suggest you to consult an allergist and get him allergy tested also. Diagnosis of allergies is done by skin ***** or patch tests and confirmation is done by blood tests like RAST. Give him some antihistaminics and make him wear cotton clothes. Also use mild soaps like Dove and apply some calamine lotion on the itchy bumps as it will help in soothing the skin.
Over time it's gotten worse, itchy and is also on the left side of my scalp/head. On my thigh it is tender, pink to red colored, Very itchy, and gets puffy when scratched. It has multiple pea sized nodules and most are clustered together. The ones on my head are more spread out, also itchy but seem to be more flesh colored. The thigh rash has no head or anything but my hubby looked at my scalp and said it looked like one busted and had like a hole in the middle.
You have been working in the garden so the little bumps on your skin may be caused due to insect bites. The red bump is caused due to the toxins injected into the body by the insect like fleas, mites, mosquitoes; etc.The next cause is allergic reaction. The allergic reaction can be due to any plant, medication, eatables, etc. If the bumps and itchiness appear to spread, then it is best to seek medical attention.
I HAVE A 5 MONTH OLD AND HAD TO PUT IT ON HER TOO. WE SEEMED BETTER AND NOW I HAVE NEW ITCHY RED BUMPS AGAIN SCATTERED THROUGHOUT MY BODY AND ALSO FOLLICULITIS, SO I DON'T KNOW IF ALL OF IT IS RELATED. My baby has recurring red spots all over too, but this has rarely if ever been on her feet. the derm says it's eczema for her. the bumps seem to go away after a few days, but there is always some on our bodies, new and old.
Not for sure what this is. About a week ago I got small bump like , red, itchy spots on both lower legs...on my ankles up about 10" onto my calves. I thought at first fleas in the house maybe....but after putting out a flea trap, nothing. In fact there are so many, it can't be bugs...in less it is some type of mite or something. I sit at the computer alot at night...my wife does some, but nothing on her. A few weeks ago, I did a little money detecting...
I have had dry, swollen, cracked, peeling skin on my eyelids which has become progressively worse over 7 years. Have been prescribed cortisone but only is an overnight cure. Is this exceme? or psoriasis? or allergies? How can I get over this??? HELP!!!
My mom has been getting the same itchy bumps on her arms for almost a year now. Nothing seemed to work until I suggested she start taking an Antihistamine. This seems to help alot. She has no history of allergies, bug bites or what have you, but she does get cold sores and suffered a severe outbreak on her entire face due to contracting bacterial menangitis where her immune system was so impaired, the herpes ran rampant.
