Common Questions and Answers about Itchy arms and hands

Hello, Are there other symptoms present such as skin rashes? This could also be an irritation, allergic reaction or even skin conditions such as dermatitis or eczema. Prutitus or itching without associated rash may also be due to underlying medical conditions such as anemia or diabetes. If it persists, have this checked for proper management. Take care and do keep us posted.
after i take a shower, i apply baby oil to my skin, I am fine till i go to bed at night. Then my arms start to itch and burn like crazy...any suggestions of why this happens when i go to bed?
Hello, Itchy skin on the arms and hands can be due to Eczema or contact dermatitis. Are you having a history of allergy?Pls get allergy tests like skin ***** tests or blood tests like RAST done to find out if you are allergic to something. You could consider such things as a staph or strep infection that frequently causes a rash or itchy skin as well. Or perhaps you have come in contact with a poison or have a bacterial or fungal infection. Other conditions cause itchy skin as well.
I had itchy arms that kept me awake no matter what I tried for three years. I slept on average three to four hours a night. I went to an acupunturist for help with what she believed was an allergic reaction, but had little relief, so when a naturopath I consulted suggested allergies, I was skeptical...but desperate. She used a blood test, found numerous food allergies, gave me Quercitin and digestive enzymes and something to repair the gut lining.
I have some kind of breakout or rash all over my hands, slightly on my arms. Tiny red bumps that look like bug bites but I don't think they're bug bites because I mostly get them on my hands. They itch horribly and nothing helps except putting ice on my hands, if I break the skin they leak some fluid. Does anyone have any idea what they are and how to stop the itching.
One day I went snowshoeing and I was fine, the next day I was on top of a mountain looking around in a t-shirt and it was kinda cold. Got in the car and started itching all over my arms and noticed whelps all over them. Now every time I encounter the cold in any form, cold beverage in my hand or weather outside I get the symptoms. Is there any chance this will go away one day as fast as I got it or will I have this from now on?
When i get stressed,my hands start to tingle and get very hot, then blisters literally start popping up all over my hands and arms. The sores itch extremely bad. The only time i break out is when im in a very stressful situation. My mom had a stroke last week and the same night i was broke out all over my body except my back and stomach, thats what is so weird. What could it be?
Always in pain from it. and my hands have these small clear looking blisters, very small and VERY itchy. If I poke them with a needle clear liquid, like water, comes out. But then they just come back and hurt worse. Its like having a thousand mosquito bites all over my body, and theres nothing that I can do about it.

My arms, and only my arms, have itched for 10 years. no rashes, no psiorias, excema etc. The creams, allergery list is extensive as to what I have tried but nothing worked. ---------------The only thing that helps are ice packs.
all i have is aquaphor is that okay? and i noticed red bumps on my thighs arms and the back of my knees, should i be worried?
Randomly, my hands will start to itch and swell, and become really red. They will only do this on the areas that scratch, not the whole hand. My skin isn't dry, flaky, or peeling, and I can't think of anything I've recently started using to cause an allergic reaction. This has been happening for a couple months now, and happens at least once a day. Once they're swollen and I poke at the swollen skin, it feels like there's liquid built up underneath it.
Essentially rubbing the virus in to damaged skin. Is this even a possible scenario? and is it strange that both hands and arms are affected? It seems these symptoms worsened around the time I got a lot of sun in a two day period, but I'm not sure if it was directly afterwards. I haven't been in the sun since. For what it is worth I started a job four months ago that requires that I wear latex gloves all day.
