isotretinoin vitamin a

I am a 25 year old female. I am on isotretinoin for acne. But recently my general physician prescribed vitamin B-complex supplements for other health problems. Is it safe to take vitamin B-Complex capsules with isotretinoin? I am not any other medication.

The 10000 IU limit is for preformed Vitamin A. (Personally, my prenatal had 4000 IU of Vitamin A in it, and my midwife said that was fine) I would call your doctor if you're still unsure and speak to them about it.

I have not been exposed to any more sun than usual recently. Proceeding this increase I undertook a course of isotretinoin for acne and then had some mild scarring resurfaced using a laser. Knowing this would leave my skin sensitive to the sun I took to using sunscreen. It could just be a coincidence but I cannot help but be suspicious that either the isotretinoin or the suncreen is associated with the surge in new moles.

There was a male on this forum who said he developed sticky skin after cancer treatment. Isotretinoin is a retinoid, related to Vitamin A. Overdose of vit A has its own side effects. I am still in extensive research mode, so maybe investigate all this and see if you can relate to anything. Some also say its a mould infection.

After I stopped using Isotretinoin, I found that my eyes were very dry, and it has been maintained for about a month and a half. I know that Isotretinoin can inhibit the secretion of body oil. Went to Arthopedic and he said it is infection. im now on antibiotics (one week on IV augmenten + oxidil and then on ciprofloxacin 500 twice) for last 5 weeks.
