645390 tn?1338555377 I get mine thru Teva also and i was paying $50.00 and it just went up to $137.00, will check with my dr when I see her. Maybe $2500.00 is what is covered....that sounds better.
10869131 tn?1430198496 That was the price with insurance its 450 without..
Avatar n tn I am 10 years post transplant. I was without insurance for about 6 months, 3 years ago. I was able to get help from http://www.pparx.org. This works much smoother than going through a pharmaceutical company. This site is a central link to all companies that offer assistance programs. All it took was about 10-15 minutes on the phone with them, so they could get my information, I recevied free prograf in about 2 weeks. They were super nice on the phone.
649848 tn?1534633700 s does too, but the price quoted to me was without that club price and without taking insurance into consideration. If I joined that club, I might get additional savings. I'll check into it before it's time to refill my script again. I just really wanted to let people who are on Tirosint or thinking of going on it, what they might be getting into, and also to see what other options might be available. Haven't heard anything back from Akrimax.
Avatar f tn in 2011 it was about $46,000 without insurance. I won't know for 2012 until I start mine this coming spring....and I have crappy insurance!
2002523 tn?1327612787 True. My doc seems to think I should be able to find it for around $6 even without insurance covering it. I've never done online orders or three-month orders since I only started my first and second ongoing medicines in the last three months. Perhaps that's an option to look into.
Avatar f tn So I just got denied by masshealth when I went to pick up my prescription and had to pay full price... I'm due in 30 days and scared I won't have insurance... I don't have money to pay out of pocket.... anyone know what my options are or are in the same boat as me.....
Avatar f tn I know my cash price of generic Levo for one month (back in 2008) was as low as $9.00 with no insurance from a big 'box' retailer. Shop around.
620048 tn?1358018235 Yes, copaxone went up in price. the insurance side use to be a little over $2000 a month and I noticed it went up to $3000 a month now, it didnt affect my co-pay but that is what happend. a big jump in price for sure!!
Avatar n tn maintenance doses of oral isotretinoin in the range of 10-40 mg every other day or 0.05% isotretinoin gel is rarely indicated as a suppressive treatment for widespread disfiguring sebaceous hyperplasia. Oral isotretinoin should be prescribed by a physician who is experienced in oral retinoid therapy and only for patients without contraindications.
Avatar f tn In Canada without insurance it costed me $25, however I'm not sure how much is covered by the public health care or if it falls under prescriptions and private insurance. In pets the cost is $500-1500 depending on the length of testing so I would assume it should be somewhere around that.
649848 tn?1534633700 On this last refill, insurance did pay $70. That means that without insurance a 3 month supply would be $315. That's triple what it started out at ($85). IMO that is excessive for a thyroid medication. I know Akrimax does offer a $10 coupon, that's usable for 18 months, but that surely doesn't keep up with the increases in price. I've sent Akrimax an e-mail, but haven't heard anything back yet.
Avatar f tn The before insurance price for 180 1 time a week pegasus and 800 riba was 2200 for me.
Avatar m tn My body fat went from around 15 % to under 8 % after taking accutane. I am extremely thin now and cannot put on weight on no matter how much I eat or what I eat. For example I can eat a whole tub of ice-cream and has no affect on my body. I have read about others have this issue also. Isotretinoin (accutane) obviously messed up something in my body so that it doesn't metabolize or absorb food the way it did pre-accutane. If anyone has any knowledge in this area plz respond. ty.
Avatar m tn m using isotretinoin. Then i got some ulcers on my lips and my doctor said its because of the isotretinoin. Then he prescribed minoz 50. I can't bear this acne anymore...
Avatar m tn 3) Can i use X5 hair laser and Isotretinoin in the same period ??? Cause I read that isotretinoin produces photosensitivity and I would not suffer irritation or problems to the scalp. Thank you for the attention . I'm sorry for my bad english . I hope that you have understand my problems !!!
Avatar n tn Hello, Oratane capsules contain a medication known as isotretinoin. Isotretinoin is often a cure for acne. You can take oratane after 3 weeks after miscarriage but Oratane causes birth defects and must absolutely not be used by pregnant women or by women who intend to become pregnant. Hence the time you are taking oratane , you should not fall pregnant.
9624973 tn?1413016130 s all about insurance. I hate to see any drugs cost without insurance. My father has MDS and is taking Revlimid. Without Medicare or insurance or without medicine company's financial aid, it's 10,000 dollars for 30 day supply. But with Medicare it's 300 dollars. But when you represent a company, you are the image of what the company represents. The system works sometimes and it does work else where. Hep C cure for 12 week supply is about $90,000.
Avatar f tn Well, especially in hot weather, and when I get nervous, excited, or mad..... I have no insurance to see a doctor, please help me....
382218 tn?1341181487 The 'list price' is really just what the insurance company can expect to be charged, not the individual patient. As it says at the end, people who can not afford it can avail of patients' assistance programmes, and if this proves prohibitive still, there may be programmes or grants through charities of societies to make up the difference.
