I think I'm going too soon though, I have been getting white/clear discharge for a few months now and 2 days ago I got browny discharge, is this normal? And I'm also really worried that I'm going to come on, because today it's Thursday and on Monday I'm going swimming with dolphins. I'm really worried that because I've never had my period before and I won't be able to use a tampon and won't be able to go this is a once in a life time opportunity for me and I'm really scared I can't go.
hey there, the discharge is nothing to worry about, it is normal for tthis to appear both before your period and when you are in early pregnancy. I have heard of alot of women that have indeed been pregnant say that they had alot of milky no smell discharge before they got their BFP.
I also have a son who was conceived from the pull out method. The white discharge could be just normal vaginal discharge that happens before or after your period (just cleaning itself out), it could also be a yeast infection or some other kind of infection that can be cleared with antibiotics. If you are concerned though, and have not yet had your period, you could take a test.
Occasional spotting I've read is pretty normal before a period and sometimes happents during ovulation.
White discharge with Pregnancy White discharge is also common as an early sign of pregnancy. The white discharge before period is more pronounced if pregnant due to increased oestrogen production and blood flow to the vaginal area. The white discharge expelled during early pregnancy may resemble egg white or a runny nose. The discharge is the cervical secretions that created a protective barrier in the cervical canal. This is expelled by the thinning and dilating of the cervix.

so I constantly have white discharge and Ive read that it is normal for people before they get their periods. But i am 17 and have had my period for 5 years now, and i still get discharge every single day, Ive learned to live with it, but the only thing is Im to embarrassed to have sex or even be fingered by a guy if i have this. What should I do?!!
It is normal to have an increase in discharge in pregnancy however it could be a sign of an infection such as a yeast infection or bacterial vaginosis. Some STD's also cause an increase in discharge and may have no other symptoms. If you are late for you period you can take a test and if it continues or gets worse then you should see a doctor.
The discharge produced during ovulation is a clear, watery and elastic, kind of like egg whites, so it doesn't seem like this is what you are experiencing. White discharge is normal at the beginning and end of a woman's cycle, but if it's thick and clumpy (like cottage cheese) then it could mean a yeast infection, especially if it's accompanied by itching. And yes, you could have a yeast infection more than 4 times a year.
White discharge for the most part is very normal and happens to a large number of women. It's the vagina cleaning itself out and can increase during certain times in a womens cycle. Some women will notice they have it frequently (I am one of them) and some rarely get it. If it ever concerns you, you can see a doctor and discuss your concerns with them.
Hello guys I am new here. Small background story I have normal periods every month. My boyfriend & I had sex 6 days ago. On the 5th day of having sex I found myself with brownish light pinkish discharge & light cramps. Today I have milky white discharge. Oh & my period isnt due for another 2 weeks. What can this be?
Hi, Usually white discharge is perfectly normal unless accompanied by a bad odor and/or burning and itching. However, vaginal discharge usually increases around menstruation, or upon becoming pregnant. If you do think you are pregnant, I would take a home pregnancy test. The best time to get pregnant is during ovulation and you need to be familiar with your cycles in order to know when you ovulate.
I have this wierd white discharge that has a bad odor. I get it before and after my periods all the time. Sometimes before I'm off my period and I go to change my tampon I notice brown stuff on it instead of blood. It kind of happens all the time. A few days ago when i went to the bathroom, I noticed a white stringy substince hanging from my vagina. I wiped it way then I noticed a small clump of white stuff in my underwear. That hasn't happened before.
before ovulation your CM should be egg white like- clear and plentiful. The white discharge is normal for that time in your cycle where you are post ovulation and pre menses. Totally normal. Try looking in the fertility community for tips on getting pregnant. Sometimes it's much harder than you think. Try timed intercourse and OPKs or get a fertility monitor. You need to know when you are ovulating before you can really do anything... Good luck!
please let me know if it is normal to maybe spot a few days before your period is due?? It is not heavy bleeding at all, and I probably would not notice it if I was not looking for it..(I worry about my health).....I have a great deal of stress lately in my life and wondered if stress could cause spotting and no period as well?? please let me know what you all think..thanks for your help on all...
Is it normal to get a white clesr vaginal discharge before your period? It looks like im ovulating but im certain im not. Ive been on birth control and use ot properly so odds are that I am not.
Twice before I took the morning after pill I had two random globs of blood and once a membrane like brown type of discharge. This is not something that is normal for me whatsoever. Like I said my period was supposed to be here by now but instead, I have a very thin, yellow with a tint of brown discharge that smells like period or like a fishy odor. I cannot smell the odor unless I purposely try to... normally before my periods, I have a very thick white discharge.
TTC= Trying to conceive. discharge is indicative of some sort of vaginitis if it is not normal for you. It can be yeast or bacterial vaginosis. It can be an std if either of you had unprotected sex outside of the marriage. I would see a doctor. From personal experience...I was TTC for 8 months and then I was diagnosed with BV. I got treated and the very next month I was pregnant. Don't assume it is std related. Try to relax. Stressing is will only slow down your ability to conceive.
Also, right before a woman begins her period, she gets a white to yellowish discharge, which is also normal. This can also itch some. If there is a smell associated with the discharge, then you do have a yeast infection. Sometimes, over the counter products are ineffective at treating yeast infections. Keeping the area clean & douching after your periods can help to prevent them. Use moist toweletes intended for vaginal itching. It should help relieve your discomfort.
i have always had white discharge, the only time i got other discharges was when i was ovulatig that i got the EWCM.
Mucus when ovulating is clear, like raw eggwhite. It's at about day 14 after your period begins. Creamy white is most other times.
Typically brown discharge after your period is just old blood mixed with normal vaginal discharge, but if you are having sex, and using no form of protection, you probably shouldn't be on the internet trying to diagnose yourself, you should be calling a doctor to get checked out. Hope this gets through to at leather one teen!
Last month I missed a couple of pills and I started a very light period which lasted about 6 days and then I had my normal period for about 5 days following it. I continued taking the pill regularly with breaks of 7 days in between. This month I had my normal period. I experienced this passing of tissue 10 days after the first day of my period. I am wondering what the large piece of tissue is as I have never experienced it before.
I'm 9 weeks 5 And every day I have brown, white, clear ish discharge is This normal or did anyone else have this
HI dear I suggest you go to see a doctor. It is normal to have discharge from your body, but it is not normal for it to have an abnormal smell. Also if you're not sure that your boy-friend is 100% monogamous and/or if you haven't been, then unprotected sex is never a good idea. This does sound a little bit like an infection, but I'm no doctor.
