Is trinessa the same as tri-previfem

Common Questions and Answers about Is trinessa the same as tri-previfem

ortho-tri-cyclen

Avatar f tn I use ortho Tri-Cyclen and it actually states Tri-Cyclen on the pack. It is a blister pack that you have to punch the pills out through. The last week is green pills. Hope this helps.
Avatar f tn I have been on birth control for 6-7 years, about a month or 2 ago i was switched from ortho lo to a generic (tri-previfem), I have been having issues with weight gain and bloating. Could this be caused by the birth control? I exercise daily and still have problems with losing weight. I dont know what to do?
Avatar f tn Hi there. I started taking Tri-Previfem (orthotricyclen generic) last Wednesday for my insanely heavy periods, and at first I felt fine. But starting yesterday (saturday) I have extreme fatigue, pain in the right side of my neck, hot flashes, headaches, nausea with acid reflux, and a general feeling of not being "right" if that makes sense. I had a pretty bad cold that ended last Monday, I was in bed for days.
Avatar n tn I took Tri-Sprintec (which is the same thing as Trinessa) for 3 years and my period almost always came on Wednesday of my inactive week (I was a Sunday start so Wednesday was the 4th day of the inactive pill week). Once or twice it came on Tuesday. It is because it take a few days after the last active pill for your progesterone levels to level out and trigger your period.
Avatar f tn If you had unprotected sex between the day you stopped and a month after you started taking it again there is like a 90% chance you are pregnant.
Avatar f tn m also supposed to be on tri-previfem for my acne, but I never take it either. Probably this is just testament to my lack of motivation. On the certraline though, I've been afraid that it has contributed to my weight gain.
4274823 tn?1388529098 A few years ago I had a bad case of a cycle of yeast and bacterial infections. I believe it started when the stupid pharmacy changed my birthcontrol pills from ortho tri cyclin to trinessa. I had problems for at least a year non stop! It was the worst. My dr tried every kind of yeast treatment on me but all it did was give be a bacterial infection because the yeast was all gone, so when I was treated for the bacterial infection I got a yeast infection again.
Avatar n tn i was on the shot for 3 months, my period was acting up. it took me 3 months to get back on it. i just started the trinessa birth control pill a month ago but i feel nauseated, i take it everyday and i am a week late. am i pregnant or is it the pill playing mind games with me?
Avatar n tn But I took the pill as soon as I got home and took the next pill the next day at my regular time. I am really paranoid why my period hasn't started yet. I called my doctor and his assistant said I should have started Tuesday or Wednesday. She said to give it til Friday and if I still haven't started, to take a preg. test. But I really don't know how I could be preg. though. We were never unprotected and I didn't skip any pills. Am I just overreacting?
Avatar n tn I have been with the same guy for the past 4 years. He's the only one I have had sex with. Pretty much from the begging I would occasionally bleed during sex. I wouldn't bleed before or after, just during. I have been on the pill (Trinessa) for about 2-3 years now, have had regular gyno visits that come out normal and I still bleed. We can have sex one time and not bleed and have it again later on and I'd bleed then or vice versa.
Avatar f tn My issue in the third trimester is that you just have a hard tie getting comfy to sleep at night. The heartburn, the belly, the pains, the getting up to go to the bathroom, etc. all keep you up at night. My sister said it is our body's way of preparing us for after the baby comes and having to wake up a lot at night. Basically, you are tired for the first 3 to 6 months AFTER the baby comes too. It's hard work being a mama before and after the baby is born. hang in there.
Avatar m tn I take my bc religiously, so now I'm thinking I have a stomach flu. I still feel rubbish. The flu would be preferable to pregnancy though. Doctor's appointment is two weeks out. Poo...
Avatar f tn A few weeks ago I was on flagyl for bacterial vaginosis. I continued to take my birth control throughout at the same time every day and did not miss a pill. 11 days after I was off the antibiotics I did have sexual intercourse. Like I said, I continued to take my birth control as normal, and he withdrew before ejaculating. I also had been off the antibiotic for over a week. I am just concerned on my risk of pregnancy.
Avatar f tn I loved the nuvaring! But I have visual migraines that cause me to. E on a low estrogen kind of birth control, so it was that, pill, arm implant, or iud. I did the pill for a while, but I'm not responsible enough to take it daily at the same time.
Avatar m tn I was wondering if I'm still protected if I just continue on with the pack as usual. I didn't miss a pill, I just lost a few of the ones I should have been taking next. My birth control is Trinessa.
Avatar f tn t help). Could the pain still be from the ruptures or is something else going on? Sometime the pain is severe enough to make me just sit still for a couple minutes until it goes away... the pain also seems to wrap around to my lower back at times. I am hoping to see my family doctor when I go home for Thanksgiving break, but in the meantime, I asked my mom to possibly get a copy of my CT results from August to see if there happens to be anything else going on.
Avatar f tn Exact same here. Ftm and this pregnancy has been great, I'd skip the morning sickness in the 1st tri but its worth it. Can't wait to hold the peanut and see who he looks like and his little personality.
Avatar f tn t affect you when you go back on the white pills, even if you took them at the same time as two of the white pills. That would suggest that you're having breakthrough bleeding, which would itself suggest you aren't protected this month and should be talking to your doctor about dosage.
Avatar f tn Also, oxy is more soluble and I believe it is a first pass metabolite, meaning it crosses the blood brain barrier after one pass thru the liver, where hydro is metabolized twice by the liver before becoming active. Oxy is much more powerfull than hydro per milligram and has a meaner withdrawel too.
1569985 tn?1328247482 I have taken Phythmol for yrs and all I can say Is I didn't have to start it in a hospital and it is in the same class as Flecainide but i really don't think it is as strong a drug. It helped me stay out of arrhythmia but like all the rest, it eventually becomes pro-arrhythmic and will actually bring on episodes....it may be months...it may be years...but it will happen.
Avatar f tn It is most effective if you take it at the same time daily, so I set my alarm on my cell phone to go off daily at the same time. If you start experiencing nausea while taking it, changing the time can work in some cases. My friend has the Mirena, and after a while, she stopped having periods altogether while on it. You replace it every five years if you continue to need it but can have it removed if you decide you want to get pregnant sooner. It's an IUD but has hormones.
Avatar f tn Yes I guess it's the same for everyone.
