Avatar m tn Lily, Thanks very much for your feedback. In answer to your question, Dexilant is only available by prescription. It is relatively new. I've decided to slowly withdraw from nefazadone as my gastric reflux problem is getting increasingly worse. I've decided that I shouldn't have to take three medicines to offset the side effects of one!
Avatar m tn I've had chronic, severe nausea for the past year and I can't take it anymore. I get nauseated after everything I eat. It doesn't matter what. I can't even have breakfast anymore (I went from eating solids to drinking liquids, and now I can't eat anything at all). Sometimes I feel like I'm not even hungry, and other times I feel horribly hungry. I can only have small meals now and I can't have dairy or bread.
Avatar n tn The exhalation should be twice as long as the inhalation, so that pressure is experienced in the windpipe, and chest and trapped air is forced out. Another technique is Breath Holding and Coughing. Inhale deeply and slowly, holding the breath for five to 10 seconds. Then the patient coughs on exhalation. You can read more breathing exercises through this link: http://cas.umkc.edu/casww/brethexr.htm Take care and keep us posted.
Avatar n tn I only have one movement first thing in the morning and that is it. I then fill with gas all day and it is not free to come out. FRUSTRATING- there is enough pressure now built up that my urine stream is rarely free and full. Feels like trap doors shut and won't allow bowels and gas to release. I did have some form of Colitis 35 years ago but this is the longest stretch of feeling so much pressure 24/7 everyday for 5 years. Any suggestions?
1432927 tn?1283546704 Further, when i try to exercise (pulse to 140 bpm) I get multiple pvcs. BP is controlled. Recently, I was put on Paxil 10 mg for anxiety - now my pulse runs constant 110 at night and 84 during the day with intermittent PVCs, should I discontinue Paxil - is there a negative link to beta blocker therapy? History: Chronic Anxiety (15 yrs), HPN (20 yrs controlled) Recent Cardiac MRI, Echo, Thall Stress Test all negative.
Avatar f tn Hello Samsung - I just answered this and my answer disappeared in thin air - so if you suddenly get another answer dont worry its all my fault. You're fine. the NAAT tests are not typically available in the UK NHS for diagnosis but are available in the private sector like our clinic. They are fabulously accurate and definitely at 5 weeks that result will be a certainty. You are HIV negative. The oraquick is reassuring but designed for use at 12 weeks.
Avatar m tn Not a question, but just an update on the FibroScan technology in the US which is a non-invasive method to measure fibrosis staging (replacing the needle biopsy). In 2013 the FDA approved the FibroScan technology and in 2014 the AASLD endorsed the FibroScan technology. The FibroScan is technically called Vibration Controlled Transient Elastography (VCTE) and it measures liver stiffness that correlates with liver fibrosis staging.
Avatar f tn A couple of things. Adding a small dose of wellbutrin to the Zoloft has helped many people with the sexual dysfunction often caused by taking antidepressants. So that's at least an option. There are also other antidepressants out there. Make sure you exercise, and it might help to try meditation. But one thing people often don't do is have knowledge of what it is that really turns you on and make sure your partner is willing to do that. Good luck.

Avatar f tn You did not state which PI you will be using. Here is what I found for Incivek or Victrelis in combo with Pegasys, Ribavirin and Simvastatin. Both PIs are contraindicated.
Avatar n tn Could such a program fall under major medical insurance? Is there any other programs which are available to assist with funding? The cost is $500. and the parents do Not qualify for Medicaid.
Avatar n tn Well the fact that the area is no longer dark is much easier to tolerate and I had already decided not to go with the fixed focus. But I also know what I see. If you move your eye when looking through microsope if its not centered a dark area moves into vision field. Mine was very into vision field. I would guess 20% and still 20% area with double vision and a distinct line where the effect stops and starts. I certainly don't blame the doctor. Its my eye.
Avatar f tn Okay Project Rachel is only located in the US (you can still email them or speak with someone). I also found this located in the UK: http://www.samaritans.org/. You can speak with someone about how you're feeling there as well!
Avatar f tn How far apart are they?
