Is nasonex generic

Common Questions and Answers about Is nasonex generic

nasonex

Avatar n tn m a generic guy and used for the last year a nasal spray Fluticasone Propionate - I think it is a generic version of one of those expensive patented sprays. Even generic it cost over $20 for a month's supply. I have used it twice a day for many days in a row, then not at all, then back again. I suffer from chronic congestion at night, when lying down to sleep.
Avatar m tn s what competition is supposed to do. But noooooo... I went to CVS today and the price was $218 for Nasonex. That is a total ripoff... Why did the price go up? So what's the difference between Merck, the manufacturer, and a robber with a gun on the street? Answer: The gun. Merck robs you without using a gun. Very clever, taking advantage of peoples' medical conditions.
29837 tn?1414534648 Recently I went to an eye, ear, nose specialist who prescribed Nasonex. Anyone have any success with it? I say that because I tried it now for two days with no effect. Do I need to try it longer? Anyone?
Avatar f tn I was on nasonex spray prn or I take 1 puff each nose at times for few years= 4 years. Now I noticed hair thinning and loss. I have stopped the nasonex now. Will my hair grow back as usual? I am so worried. Iam not taking any other medication. But on hair supplements- zinc, vitamin E and multivitamin. Started my hair massage!
531684 tn?1216745984 I have to admit It was scary. Deep down, I think it is most likely a symptom of my using Nasonex. The reason I feel this way is because I typically wake up in the morning with a nose caked in dry blood and sometimes blow it out when I'm blowing my nose. Is this a typical symptom? Should I stop using Nasonex? The reason I'm asking is to feel secure, I will certainly see a Doc, but I don't want to worry all day if this is normal.
Avatar n tn First off let me warn you that Nasonex is a form of oral steroid so i am not surprised at all with what is going on w. you. Most drugs in our system take a minimum of 30 days sometimes longer especially w. steroids to completely leave your system. I would not be too worried tho from what you've told us. It is a simple rule...if it doesn't feel right and your body is talking to you saying oh heck no...listen to it. For some reason or another you are sensitive to it so its simple...
221122 tn?1323011265 RNRita, what do you take for acid reflux instead? I can't seem to get by without some kind of antacid, although if I eat carefully, I can skip a day and do all right. On the days I don't use Nexium, I sometimes use DGL licorice tablets or Mylanta cherry if needed, (because it contains calcium and magnesium, which are good for the heart anyway.). But I can't seem to stop the Nexium totally.
Avatar f tn Well....continue the Nasonex spray. What steroid inhaler is working well for you? You stated you had problems with Symbicort and I am assuming you are no longer using that. Correct? You should try the Singulair because this can be more effective for controlling the Allergic Rhinitis and the Asthma. The physician can CLOSELY monitor your liver with labs while you are taking the medication.
Avatar n tn I'm a fellow allergy sufferer. Have you had any allergy tests done? Perhaps it is something in the air of your home that no one can totally escape from--dustmites. That is my top allergy. Everything that the doctor already suggested does help, but I still have to use allergy medicine. I use Benadryl and Nasonex. Nasonex, because it is fragrance-free.
Avatar n tn Wouldn't think it would be withdrawals. He might have something else going on???
Avatar n tn I just started using Nasonex (steroid nasal spray), and it really helps my allergies and sinus headache, and eye-related sinus problems. But I also have PVCs and my heart pounds a lot (can feel it in my head, back, etc). I'm wondering whether Nasonex is safe to take long term if I have these heart issues. Doctor just shrugged his shoulders when I asked. Anyone know?
Avatar m tn The use of glucocorticoids (the medication is NASONEX, to the nose) can make someone immunocompromised? I used Nasonex for one month. I stopped using today, and I used the normal dose. I'll do a HIV test, so I need to know this question. Thank you guys!
Avatar n tn I started having a really clogged up ear almost 2 weeks ago. Then that ear started ringing (tinnitus) I guess is what they call it...the doctor first prescribed me on amoxicillin antibiotic. That didnt really do anything.

Avatar f tn I am taking Loratidine and also use Nasonex for mild seasonal allergies. I was tested as a child and all that surfaced was mild reactions to house dust and corn. I lived in the Atlanta area for a while and the pollen problem there (a nightmare) is what spawned the used of allergy meds. Pollen count in my current place of residence (back where I grew up) is much less.
Avatar n tn his sores in his mouth and his scalp seem to be better but now he is complaining off a headach again.maybe a side affect from taking him off the nasonex??? he seems very nervous all the time so i thought that could be do to the nasonex also. please let me know what you think. take care.
