Common Questions and Answers about Is marinol legal in all states

marinol

Marinol is legal in all 50 states from what I know, but is only available by prescription and is used almost exclusively for cancer patients. Medical marijuana is legal in 20 states and D.C. but not in Mississippi.
As for the guy you know that sits around all day all out of it, not working..well he is doing that and it is illegal currently (or is it not in the UK? I am not aware of the law there). There are some that will abuse anything and everything, legal or not. As for more harmful, actually it's not. Any kind of abuse is a bad thing for sure..it's just that pot does not have a tendancy to make people behave violently, and it is actually proven to be non addictive.
then only available in the states that have medical marjuana He also mentioned f you are lucky enough to be living in a medically legal state... Marinol is looking promising with helping with spasticity...
that's something they don't want you to know. Also, the dope is dope in Amsterdam b/it too is expensive as hell. No one is gonna study pot--that's a pipe dream. Personally, I would do my 6mo in Oregon or Hawaii--Oregon has 'shops' like Amsterdam for med mari patients. Just in case. Or California--to keep usa medical care 'just in case.' My impression of European medical care is not all that high--no pun intended.
so, something I didn't realize as mj is not legal here. My niece worked in California and talked to me about the shops. That they have 'doctors' in the shops to write you your script for medical marijauna if you have any symptoms that are on the store front (such as headache and other things that EVERYONE has from time to time.). This was never what I thought of for medical marijauna.
” Perhaps we can forgive our forebears because scientific evidence of the cancer causing properties of asbestos and tobacco and the addicting and health destroying nature of cocaine was not in existence at the time. That is not the case with marijuana. Its unlikely future generations will absolve us of responsibility if the recreational and medical use of marijuana becomes national.
I don't know that there are any HEALTH benefits from THC consumption - but it has been proven to help glaucoma and also has been known to stop nausea. It is illegal in most states and Federally. Alaska is unique. Check into each state's laws to determine what is legal for your state.
I'm not sure if medical marijuana is legal in this state. I check into it as I have smoked before. We don't drug test at work but if the doctors prescribed it would that be a issue and was thought that any drug prescribed could not be used against you. Last night was some thing else I can't remember ever shaking so hard. I thought I would freeze to death than my head and body started hurting temp went to 102. I hope that does not happen every night.
Like with most things, the truth probably lies in the middle. Pot is no cure all for everything. Some people do indeed abuse it and without quality control as the labs I posted about above are attempting to do, people really don't know what they are getting. I also read about smokeless ways to use it. I'd think smoke of any form can't be good for your lungs. As someone who supports the decriminalization of all drugs, of course I support legalizing marijuana.
( I have my foot in the door of the opiate family now, which I said I would never do. Never say never. Does anyone know the states that it is legal in? Thanks for this honest and open subject...
Cannabis (includes tetrahydrocannibinols found in marijuana, hashish, and hashish oil). Cannabis has legal medical uses in some states in the U.S. Consequently, extreme controversy exists about its placement in Schedule I. Main article: Cannabis rescheduling in the United States. Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) Which is found in the human brain Heroin (Diacetylmorphine), which is used in much of Europe as a potent pain reliever in terminal cancer patients.
Most of these medications don't work very well for this kind of pain, and tolerance is a real problem. Most frightening to me is that someone dies in the United States every 19 minutes from a prescription drug overdose, mostly accidental. Every 19 minutes. It is a horrifying statistic. As much as I searched, I could not find a documented case of death from marijuana overdose.
And yes, I imagine if a doctor feels his patient is not being compliant with doctor’s orders, he could probably deny treatment drugs. Even in states that allow medical marijuana use, other issues arise. In Washington State not to long ago, a transplant patient was denied an organ and subsequently died for marijuana use; this in a state that permits medical use of the herb. The TP center had it’s own protocol, regardless of state law. Fair? Who knows; at that point, does it matter much?
At least some of the states do in fact recognize that Marijuana can in fact be medicinal...... I too would be willing to give it a try when available here. The trials look pretty good.
Anybody who is interested in Marinol should check w/ they're docs.
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which [is] upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which [is] the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
Thank you for the suggestion of adding that 'extra ingredient' to cookies etc. After reading your comment-I found some good recipes on line for this. I also found the pill I think you might be thinking of.... There is Marinol, Cesamet & Nucynta....ALL very expensive according to my Pharmacist. So...am thinking I will be trying some 'baking'.
I have never known a depressed pot-head personally, but the pill might be different. However in my state it is legal to prescribe this for HCV. But it is expensive.
It not only helps w/ depression, but increases the appetite and cuts down on depression in people treating for AIDS, but also is being used for HCV and anorexia. If it's legal here in good ole' N. Dakota (welcome to N.D., please set your clocks back 20 years) I imagine it's legal everywhere now. Pot in a pill, who woulda thunk it?
Nausea and lack of appetite were not problems for me, but I understand how smoking would help those having those side effects. Which states allow MM? How willing are doctors to prescribe? Do you buy from a legal source or is it ok to buy it on the streets? Is Marinol (sp) as effective as smoking?
just about anything your mind can cook up, with it! Sure wish it was legal in ALL US States though!!! But hey...JUST found out tonight that it is up for vote again here in OK! I also heard that all the 'pre-survey polls" are saying that it's gonna pass this time! Having my fingers crossed & saying my prayers!! May not be for everyone...but boy does it ever help me!!!
Unless you have been in a place where both drugs are tolerated, you really can't see the damage done by alcohol and the contrast to the peaceful, quiet pot smokers! B/marijuana is a very helpful tool for some of us and hep c is a qualifier in most states. And then you can grow your own and be in your own little Amsterdam.
