is glipizide 10mg the same as glyburide 5mg / because my husband was drinking the gyburide and when we went for the new prescription it had changed to glipizide and he hasn't felt good since the change do i call his doctor

I was losing weight, but now the glipizide is keeping me at the same weight. I'm doing that same^^^but I take glyburide once at night to keep my morning reading low and stable. I give into my cravings sometimes but TRY not to go overboard.

Also, oxy is more soluble and I believe it is a first pass metabolite, meaning it crosses the blood brain barrier after one pass thru the liver, where hydro is metabolized twice by the liver before becoming active. Oxy is much more powerfull than hydro per milligram and has a meaner withdrawel too.
