Pharmacologic response to SSRIs should be monitored more closely whenever methylphenidate (racemic) or dexmethylphenidate (the more pharmacologically active d-enantiomer) is added to or withdrawn from therapy, and the SSRI dosage adjusted as necessary.
I have a longer history with the same problem as you do. Most of my ENT doctors say that reflux is the problem. I have taken antiacid Rx pills and raised one side of my bed. From what I experienced, I have found the main problem is the excessive mucus secreated from your sinus.
I am having the same problem and i am very frustrated. I am now beginning to wonder if it is allergies. Im 26. i have been an athlete my whole life through college and am still very active in sports and running, not overweight, weight is not around my mid section, etc. Here are my symptoms: earlier this summer i was having difficulty breathing...only occured at night though. i couldnt lay down. i would have to sleep propped up on 2 or three pillows.
I agree with the comment on 11/10 - This is asthma without the wheezing. Alburterol should help. Mine usually comes at the same time of the year indicating an allergy reaction to something in the air. It is VERY aggravating but go with the asthma angle and you should get some relief.
