ve read that accutane may even be sufficient for getting rid of perioral dermatitis. Is this true? Could I continue using accutane to get rid of the rash with out using the antibiotic cream? I have discontinued all uses of any products with SLS and have also been looking for toothpastes with out fluoride, which I have read could also be a possible cause. I have also stopped using tazorac, duac, my paul mitchell shampoo (contained SLS), and any type of cream on my face.

Hello. I have been experiencing the same thing. Today is my second day on Accutane, at the moment I have a little headache as well too, The first day I took it I had a really bad headache !. I did not do anything about it nor did I think it was because of the pill, okay maybe that thought did cross my mind but I am really hoping it's not because I really do not want to stop the pill since I want my skin to clear up.

I took Accutane as a teenager and developed a keloid after stopping. The keloid is linear on the center on my chest. When I was younger it really bothered me but now I wear low cut shirts and swimsuits with no hesitation. I find it humorous when I first meet people when wearing a low cut shirt. Hello, Can you tell me what exactly is Accutane? I have IBD.. Have had it for serval years now the doctor I had that dxed me is gone and the new doctors won't admit it is IBD.. They want to say it is IBS.. I know better as I am writing this to you now I have pain and discomfort that is so intense it feels like I am dying.. I have a hard time with all sorts of foods too..

I experienced bad headaches when I started Accutane but, along with some of the other sides effects such as muscle pain, they decreased as my body got used to the medication. For dry lips I recommend Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream, it is much better than Vaseline. Eloise.

As some of you may know, the testing to be eligible is quite extensive as to ensure that the woman will not conceive during treatment due to bad side-effects. That said, she got the blood work done and much to our surprise, the test came back stating that she had an hCG level of 11. We were shocked, because timing wise, it doesn't add up. She just has her period a week before the test was done and we had not had sex during the time frame.

i know this is long overdue, but to anyone else who might stumble upon this I'd like to tell them that I did try threading while on accutane (in the first month) and it hurt like hell. Usually threading doesnt hurt for me, but because the skin was so dry (even with tons of moisturizer and what-not) but I think the thread actually ripped my skin off. It was red for days and anything on it (like makeup and soap) would make it sting even more.

5 months ago, and over this past week I’ve had the same dizziness headache, as well as pain in the eyes, I’ve been off accutane for 4 days now as it is effecting my driving, however it’s still not gone away! So I’m having to work from home as I cannot drive or travel!

I am having the exact same problem. Like you, I was constantly wet with a healthy sexual appetite. Accutane has changed this drastically. I have very low sexual desire and absolutely no natural lubrication even with stimulation. Have you had any resolution? I had the same problem with blood being discharged from my penis 10 years ago while I was on accutane for about 5 months. The best way to stop this is to stop taking accutane. At the time, the doctors immediately advised me to stop taking the medication. It can damage your urine flow. Today, I sometimes have extra urine leakage after urinating. I believe this to be one of the long term affects of taking accutane.

Also, oxy is more soluble and I believe it is a first pass metabolite, meaning it crosses the blood brain barrier after one pass thru the liver, where hydro is metabolized twice by the liver before becoming active. Oxy is much more powerfull than hydro per milligram and has a meaner withdrawel too.

I have taken Phythmol for yrs and all I can say Is I didn't have to start it in a hospital and it is in the same class as Flecainide but i really don't think it is as strong a drug. It helped me stay out of arrhythmia but like all the rest, it eventually becomes pro-arrhythmic and will actually bring on episodes....it may be months...it may be years...but it will happen.

ll turn beet red when exercising but as soon as I finish the flush goes; only problem is I can feel my face heating up on my way home then after a warm/cool shower my face will flush for a good couple of hours after. I've kinda got an idea of my triggers and it all seems to be internal heat related. I called "Rosche" the company that makes Accutane and they said it can stunt growth in teens by closing the epiphyseal plates prematurely. I'm 21 now and my height of 5'7'' hasn't increased since my last cycle of Accutane. I also remember having severe joint and muscle pain after HS tennis practices. - 21 male.
