My friend was hospitalized and put on Zyprexa, Trileptal and Invega over a period of 21 days. Now he's been released but can not afford the drugs so he hasn't taken taken any for 5 days. The invega was only given to him 6 days ago, and is a monthly injection, so the withdrawl for that hasn't started yet. I know one isn't supposed to just stop anti-psychotics but he hasn't been able to get Medicare and I don't think he'll manage it right now. So this is his reality...
Finally, since about year he began giving him INVEGA (paliperidone) injection 50 mg which he is fine with it.
The problem is that he has become sperm non-existent as he told me.
Will it disappear in case he stop taking the injection after a long period of use???? I am very confused, particularly as he wants to get married and be a father.
My wife was put on Invega for 7 days while she was in a psychiatric facility (6mg twice a day). She stopped taking it the minute she was released. It's been almost a month since she's had her last dosage. She now has hand tremors and is totally exhausted all the time. I know these are symptoms of the drug.. now long can she expect to have these symptoms? How long does it take for the drug to be completely out of her body?
I have been experiencing high nerves in my arms and face and was wanting to know how long it will take wellbutrin,klonopin,depakote and invega to begin working. Or is there something that I can do to make these feelings to go away.
Well,I'm not on the Invega anymore.Seemed too strong for me.Now I'm on Lamictal,Seroquel,Xanax,and Propranolol.I just had my thyroid tested and I'm borderline Hyperthyroid.I have read that either Bipolar can cause Hyperthyroid,Hyperthyroid can cause Bipolar,or it just plain mimics Bipolar disorder.Now I have to make an appt with an endocrinologist to see what to do about this.Has anyone else heard of this before?
I have been being treated with psych meds even though I was tested negative for mental illness, three of the psych meds have effected my sexual health (resperdon, resperdal and invega sustaina) At times I could not get a erection and on the lower dose I am able to get a erection a week and a half after my injection which is once every four weeks. I also noticed my gonads became smaller..
s only 2 options which are Invega and the other one I think is rispidol which she basically said invega converts into that or vise versa so basically they said I'm stuck on this one medication and it's been making me heavily depressed I've been having face twitches and leg jerks towards night time. As well as sensations going through my body everytime something stress related happens or even a muscle twitch could set that off.
As you will know Seroquel is a very calming anti psychotic, whereas Invega is quite agitating, I think by dropping the Invega you will have a lot less side effects ( fingers crossed )
You might feel quite drowsy for a few weeks because of the Seroquel but the extra 50mg he has given you isn't going to be too harsh, my doc usually increases my Seroquel by 100mg.
With it being the XR version as well, you will have less drowsiness.
I wanted to know how to loose weight on an antipsychotic like invega sustenna. I have tried fasting I am possibly going to continue it. But I can’t keep workouts consistent.
I used to take Remeron for about a year. I was at the 30Mg dosage also. I also was given Xanax, but at that time only 1/2Mg per day.
I had found that the withdrawl from Remeron was not as bad as the withdrawl I had from many other antidepressants. (had to switch the remeron for another med because Remeron was no longer working to control my depression)
You said that your on 4Mgs a day of Xanax? HOLD UP! That is WAY too much and if you continue at that dosage you will get severly addicted.
My heart had some abnormal rythms that are seen in a heart attack they said. But I told them I felt fine other than the other symptoms. They concluded it was from the Invega I was taking by injection and that this was possibly an overdose.
They also told me to get to see a neurologist and get an EEG done since they had done an MRI on my head and catscan and found nothing. This I believe will test the inner workings of my brain rather than just looking for tumors and whatnot.
I will not say that there is never a time to stop the medicine because I understand some valid reasons why it can be time to go up on a dosage, down on a dosage, or stop a medicine altogether. I did this under the care of a dr for several years but am able to do it on my own now. I can only tell you why I can and why a person shouldn't.
First off, I can stop my Seroquel now when it is time because I have a great awareness of myself and my mind.
I started to take invega because risperidone was making me gain a lot of weight. I changed but I can't lose that weight. I was already taking sertraline I still take it. I stopped having my period when on invega and Pregnancy is not on the table already done the test. Can anyone help me?
I am on wellbutrin,klonopin,depakote, invega and ambien. I stopped invega due to pdoc but see him on monday. Nerves get out of control for me a lot of the time like daily. I get at the worst on the weekends when everything is winding down from my week that is stressfull. just don't think its the meds doing it to me. and why should I be differnt than I have been before I lose it and yell alot but that is me.
Hello I am a 21 year old male I have been taking medicine since about 17 or 18 and been diagnosed with schizophrenia at age 19 I have been taking invega sustenna since august 2020. I stopped for a month or two then resumed up until now. I took the 156 mg most of the time then the 234 for a few months back to 156 down to 117 mg.
I took my HCG injection last night in preparation for a retrieval tomorrow. I spent last night throwing up every hour, is this normal? Anyone else get this sick from all the hormones and HCG?
HEy guys Ive been on lamictal for a while now and invega and ive been doing pretty good, Id say about 70 percent of where I feel I should be. I still feel a lil sad at times but overall Im in a constructive mindset. My therapis talked about adding an anti depressent in the future if I want so im wondering which one works for yall? I dont want one with sexual side effects(negative) she recommended wellbutrin. How should I feel on this if I decide to take it?
Should I stop consuming cannabis with invega sustenna? And if I don’t what are the interactions I was just told it causes sedation.
1 cc of testosterone was the dosage. My levels were 275, 180, and 146 before beginning therapy. There were taken early in the AM then progressively later in the PM on seperate days. Can someone give me some insight? IS it possible that some people even when given testosterone injections cant ever reach normal levels? Thanks.
