I have just been prescribed Invega 9 mg for Bipolar Disorder along with 12oo mg of Trileptal and 50 mg of Topamax.I am still having bizzare dreams and feel as if I am sleepwalking and doing odd behavior throughout the day.I feel extremely drugged.Is this pretty commom with this combo of drugs or from any one of these.I have periods to where I just "can't think".Thank you for your response.

I wouldnt advise anyone take this drug ever. In my opinion the risks arent worth the reward. I was given it for bipolar and had I known anything about it then I wouldnt have taken it. It realy irritates me as well that I was given this for bipolar since it is realy made for sktzo. I could and should have been given something with much less risk.

HEy guys Ive been on lamictal for a while now and invega and ive been doing pretty good, Id say about 70 percent of where I feel I should be. I still feel a lil sad at times but overall Im in a constructive mindset. My therapis talked about adding an anti depressent in the future if I want so im wondering which one works for yall? I dont want one with sexual side effects(negative) she recommended wellbutrin. How should I feel on this if I decide to take it?

i suspect they will find he is bipolar to but not adhd he is 7 ...there mother is bipolar and she has really had a hard time of it....but the kids are doing ok...she is on straterra in the am and invega at night....hope all goes well ...keep us posted.....

Hi. I think things like weight gain that happens can be a judgement call. Is the weight gain worth the feeling better with the mental health disorder? Can I do 'anything' that can offset the weight? But you describe more which is that you are having depression. THAT you must talk to your doctor about.

Have you spoken to your doctor about him possibly having something else besides the Bipolar disease? I know it's hard to think of something besides what the doctor's already given him but if the medication isn't doing what it's suppose to do, there may be another underlying problem that needs to be dealt with.

I have been experiencing high nerves in my arms and face and was wanting to know how long it will take wellbutrin,klonopin,depakote and invega to begin working. Or is there something that I can do to make these feelings to go away.

My friend was hospitalized and put on Zyprexa, Trileptal and Invega over a period of 21 days. Now he's been released but can not afford the drugs so he hasn't taken taken any for 5 days. The invega was only given to him 6 days ago, and is a monthly injection, so the withdrawl for that hasn't started yet. I know one isn't supposed to just stop anti-psychotics but he hasn't been able to get Medicare and I don't think he'll manage it right now. So this is his reality...

Abilify, Geodon, and Invega are atypical antipsychotic medication. They are not typically helpful for ADHD. Medications like Adderall can worsen paranoia and delusions. Perhaps a non-stimulant medication like Straterra would be of benefit.

If you don't go to the Pdoc you're just going to continue in this train till it ends in a low you might not recover from. Please go see your Pdoc. There is nothing wrong with saying that you need help and most Pdocs don't want to lock anybody up unless they're extremely harmfull to themselves or others. You're not depressed enough to do yourself a mischief so try the Pdoc first. Me tweeks happen all the time for all of us.

My doctor is weaning me off invega. He has me on a lower dose 3 mg for a week. Then I discontinue it. He is hoping my other antipsychotic, seroquel xr will be enough. He raised that from 150 to 200 Mgs. Anyone have experience coming off antipsychotics?

If you are on invega sustenna on the instructions of a doctor, talk to the doctor about your weight and any suggested ideas for helping it come down. Intermittent fasting has its supporters and its detractors, but if you are intending to lose 80 lbs. or thereabouts, you need better help than that.

lFor several years I was treated for bipolar with lithium, clonipin, and one antipsycotic after another. I live in a very small area and our county mental health dept. shut down. When I went to our community clinic they took me off of lithium because I was losing my hair and the clonipin because it COULD be misused. and put on serequel which I was told would help all my symptoms. It did not. Now I can't drive, hell I can't even leave my house.

invega is an antipsychotic for schizophrenia. Do you have that? And you really can't just up and quit these meds, especially Xanax -- they can have a wallop of a withdrawal. You have to stop them slowly. You say you have PTSD -- were you in the military? I ask because most drug companies have programs to help people who can't afford medication, and veterans are better treated than others in this regard.

I have been on serquel 200 at bed time for the last 6 months to treat bipolar and i was wondering how long more should i stay on serquel to be good. Along with serquel, im taking invega 3 mg and escitalopram 5 mg, so what are the possible complections or side effects arising from the componation?

Get treatment and ask for new medication. Abilify worked well for me. Good luck!!

I am on wellbutrin,klonopin,depakote, invega and ambien. I stopped invega due to pdoc but see him on monday. Nerves get out of control for me a lot of the time like daily. I get at the worst on the weekends when everything is winding down from my week that is stressfull. just don't think its the meds doing it to me. and why should I be differnt than I have been before I lose it and yell alot but that is me.

I want to make these tests again, but because of my diagnosis of schizophrenia, they usually attribute my dizziness to anxiety or side effects. Its been on going for 3 months, but recently got better as I took less Invega. Then it got a little worse again, and I cant say if my sleeping problems is the cause.

Hello I am a 21 year old male I have been taking medicine since about 17 or 18 and been diagnosed with schizophrenia at age 19 I have been taking invega sustenna since august 2020. I stopped for a month or two then resumed up until now. I took the 156 mg most of the time then the 234 for a few months back to 156 down to 117 mg.
