Hello I am a 21 year old male I have been taking medicine since about 17 or 18 and been diagnosed with schizophrenia at age 19 I have been taking invega sustenna since august 2020. I stopped for a month or two then resumed up until now. I took the 156 mg most of the time then the 234 for a few months back to 156 down to 117 mg.
my grandaughter has been dx'd with bipolar and adhd ....she is going to turn 9 in april and it has been trying but she is a blessing as well as her brother ...they live with me and hubby for 2 years now...i suspect they will find he is bipolar to but not adhd he is 7 ...there mother is bipolar and she has really had a hard time of it....but the kids are doing ok...she is on straterra in the am and invega at night....hope all goes well ...keep us posted.....
I have been diagnosed with schizoaffective and adult adhd. I take abilify and citalopram for the schizoaffective disorder and vyvanse for the adhd symptoms. I find that since i have been given adhd meds, my condition has stabilized completely. I was not well on the schizoaffective meds alone. i still had problems concentrating and with focus .As well as social problems and listening to others and paying attention.
If you are on invega sustenna on the instructions of a doctor, talk to the doctor about your weight and any suggested ideas for helping it come down. Intermittent fasting has its supporters and its detractors, but if you are intending to lose 80 lbs. or thereabouts, you need better help than that.
Get treatment and ask for new medication. Abilify worked well for me. Good luck!!
I am on wellbutrin,klonopin,depakote, invega and ambien. I stopped invega due to pdoc but see him on monday. Nerves get out of control for me a lot of the time like daily. I get at the worst on the weekends when everything is winding down from my week that is stressfull. just don't think its the meds doing it to me. and why should I be differnt than I have been before I lose it and yell alot but that is me.
I want to make these tests again, but because of my diagnosis of schizophrenia, they usually attribute my dizziness to anxiety or side effects. Its been on going for 3 months, but recently got better as I took less Invega. Then it got a little worse again, and I cant say if my sleeping problems is the cause.
HEy guys Ive been on lamictal for a while now and invega and ive been doing pretty good, Id say about 70 percent of where I feel I should be. I still feel a lil sad at times but overall Im in a constructive mindset. My therapis talked about adding an anti depressent in the future if I want so im wondering which one works for yall? I dont want one with sexual side effects(negative) she recommended wellbutrin. How should I feel on this if I decide to take it?

My wife was put on Invega for 7 days while she was in a psychiatric facility (6mg twice a day). She stopped taking it the minute she was released. It's been almost a month since she's had her last dosage. She now has hand tremors and is totally exhausted all the time. I know these are symptoms of the drug.. now long can she expect to have these symptoms? How long does it take for the drug to be completely out of her body?
Yes, the little one could have ADHD. It certainly is an inherited disorder for many - but not all kids. But, i have had kids in the classroom who have ADHD and their brother or sister did not. So it certainly is not guaranteed.
By the way, I have seen the changes in how ADHD is treated over the years. Having spent almost 40 years in the classroom. It is being treated much better now then it was.
I have been having this very annoying and scary behavior for the past few days. It all started with me waking up in the middle of the night and as I was trying to fall back asleep, there were words and visions (sometimes scary) just constantly flashing in my head and racing. I don't hear anything. It's just thoughts. Ever since then, when I watch TV, I repeat in my head everything they say.
