Should I stop consuming cannabis with invega sustenna? And if I don’t what are the interactions I was just told it causes sedation.

i was on invega for 3 years at 8 mg a day and i was wondering if invega can cause you to gain weight and have blood clots in your legs

m a 37 yo female and have been diagnosed as schizoaffective with bipolar features, and in May was started on Invega 224 mg injectable and 12 mg oral once daily along side Topomax 10mg once daily. But since being prescribed the Invega in May I've gained significant weight (30 lbs) being the heaviest I've ever been in my life. My hair is growing in darker and coarser, and I've been battling extreme depression. Usually an active person I cant seem to motivate myself to do anything.

the other 3 I cant remember but it made me feel so doped up I switched docs and and she put me on 2 celexa and zyprexa and they have worked wonderful for me. No dopey drugged feeling. Just nice stable everyday normal living. Its seems to me that alot of docs tend to overprescribe when all is need for bi polar is a good mood stabilizer and a good anti depressant I could be wrong since I am not a doc . I am just a bi polar (in remission lol)who has been on alot of meds.

His behaviour mainly happens at school and is often targeted from being bullied. He cannot control his anger and has no snese of humour and cannot handle jokes or being joked with. He often talks about stabbing and killing, which is very worrying. I am looking into further help and will post any information I have when I receive it. If anyone else can help, please post information.

I was on Risperdal for 2 years and I noticed that at the end of the day it would wear off. so my doc put me invega sustenna and my wife noticed the difference pretty quickly. I am taking Gedon too and I am very happy with the effects.

As you will know Seroquel is a very calming anti psychotic, whereas Invega is quite agitating, I think by dropping the Invega you will have a lot less side effects ( fingers crossed ) You might feel quite drowsy for a few weeks because of the Seroquel but the extra 50mg he has given you isn't going to be too harsh, my doc usually increases my Seroquel by 100mg. With it being the XR version as well, you will have less drowsiness.

invega is an antipsychotic for schizophrenia. Do you have that? And you really can't just up and quit these meds, especially Xanax -- they can have a wallop of a withdrawal. You have to stop them slowly. You say you have PTSD -- were you in the military? I ask because most drug companies have programs to help people who can't afford medication, and veterans are better treated than others in this regard.

Hi 7 months ago i was given a drug called invega that is time released and i was instructed to cut it n half and take it wich almost killed me. This drug is known for causing arythmias by prolongation of the QT interval. I have since stoped taking the invega. I dont take any drug, not even asprin.

I have been having this very annoying and scary behavior for the past few days. It all started with me waking up in the middle of the night and as I was trying to fall back asleep, there were words and visions (sometimes scary) just constantly flashing in my head and racing. I don't hear anything. It's just thoughts. Ever since then, when I watch TV, I repeat in my head everything they say.

I stopped having my period when on invega and Pregnancy is not on the table already done the test. Can anyone help me?

I am on wellbutrin,klonopin,depakote, invega and ambien. I stopped invega due to pdoc but see him on monday. Nerves get out of control for me a lot of the time like daily. I get at the worst on the weekends when everything is winding down from my week that is stressfull. just don't think its the meds doing it to me. and why should I be differnt than I have been before I lose it and yell alot but that is me.

I take Invega Sustenna. While my oxygen level is normal, I seem to have reduced po2 and oxyhgb, which is indicators of poor oxygen status. A doctor said this might be felt as dizziness. I want to make these tests again, but because of my diagnosis of schizophrenia, they usually attribute my dizziness to anxiety or side effects. Its been on going for 3 months, but recently got better as I took less Invega. Then it got a little worse again, and I cant say if my sleeping problems is the cause.

HEy guys Ive been on lamictal for a while now and invega and ive been doing pretty good, Id say about 70 percent of where I feel I should be. I still feel a lil sad at times but overall Im in a constructive mindset. My therapis talked about adding an anti depressent in the future if I want so im wondering which one works for yall? I dont want one with sexual side effects(negative) she recommended wellbutrin. How should I feel on this if I decide to take it?

My wife was put on Invega for 7 days while she was in a psychiatric facility (6mg twice a day). She stopped taking it the minute she was released. It's been almost a month since she's had her last dosage. She now has hand tremors and is totally exhausted all the time. I know these are symptoms of the drug.. now long can she expect to have these symptoms? How long does it take for the drug to be completely out of her body?

The doctor prescribed 3mg capsules of invega once daily along with I think 10mg lexapro and told me to se the nurse on my way out who gave me 6mg samples of invega and instructed me to cut them in half. The following Monday I started both drugs.

Hi, New here but not new to autism. I have a son and two girls with autism. All to different degrees from HD to LD. My wife and I split up 10 years ago. However we still work very closely in bringing up our children. But, I have met some one else and we would like to have a baby. I am Very concerned. I just watched More Business of Being Born, and they talked about the possible link between ultrasounds and Autism. They said the ultrasound waves change the size of the cells, so there needs to be more research about the effects. I've had three ultrasounds all within weeks 4 and 5. They were ruling out an ectopic pregnancy. I'm now 8 1/2 weeks along and doing great. I'm worried about the effects of those ultrasounds. Any input?

Pressure in front and back of head with and without headache, Acheness, Fatigue that does not get better with rest, Involuntary movements in the arms, hands, and legs, Extreme Sleepiness (Fell asleep in bathtub and almost drowned), Barely feel pain. In July 2008 I switched over from Zoloft and Invega to Wellbutrin and Cymbalta. At that time, these were my only medications. In August 08, when I stood up from my chair, my legs had terrible tremors. They were so bad that I had to hold onto the desk. This still happens today. I also experience leg tremors when descending stairs - but not going up. I get minor tremors while going from a standing to a sitting position. My right hand has started to tremor - kind of fast but mild.
