This is just a shot in the dark, since I know nothing about the medication, but many medications seem to affect muscle function. One possible remedy to try is supplementing with magnesium citrate, perhaps in a 1:1 ratio with calcium citrate. Solaray makes a good one. Magnesium is essential in relaxing muscles and nerves, and it's become my opinion from taking meds for anxiety and reading lots of posts that many meds seem to interfere with magnesium absorption.

Sounds very much like OCD and anxiety. I have severe OCD and I have crazy thoughts and repeat words also. When I was a kid that was my main thing I did. Whenever someone spoke to me, I always had to repeat the last 3 words that came out of their mouths. It drove everyone crazy! lol You know it's OCD when you have an intense feeling of anxiety associated with the little rituals and obsessions that you do.

The doctor prescribed 3mg capsules of invega once daily along with I think 10mg lexapro and told me to se the nurse on my way out who gave me 6mg samples of invega and instructed me to cut them in half. The following Monday I started both drugs.

my close cousin passed this last week.. i am overwhelmed with stress and anxiety and they are not so nice about this at our hospital..

That seems to be the only thing taking away these horrible panic attacks, anxiety and psychosis. I have to split them in half throughout the day to help me.

i was on invega for 3 years at 8 mg a day and i was wondering if invega can cause you to gain weight and have blood clots in your legs

m a 37 yo female and have been diagnosed as schizoaffective with bipolar features, and in May was started on Invega 224 mg injectable and 12 mg oral once daily along side Topomax 10mg once daily. But since being prescribed the Invega in May I've gained significant weight (30 lbs) being the heaviest I've ever been in my life. My hair is growing in darker and coarser, and I've been battling extreme depression. Usually an active person I cant seem to motivate myself to do anything.

the other 3 I cant remember but it made me feel so doped up I switched docs and and she put me on 2 celexa and zyprexa and they have worked wonderful for me. No dopey drugged feeling. Just nice stable everyday normal living. Its seems to me that alot of docs tend to overprescribe when all is need for bi polar is a good mood stabilizer and a good anti depressant I could be wrong since I am not a doc . I am just a bi polar (in remission lol)who has been on alot of meds.

i take 800 mg of lithuim, 60mg of citalopram for my dipolar II disorder and 125mg of levothyroxine for my underactive thyrod i seem to have problems with my sex drive i never want it could it be the meds

along with adderall before I was given invega and after. So I believe I am possibly causing damage and being out of balance. I can’t concentrate sometimes and weight gain along with prolactin due to enlarged breast is a concern. Some websites are saying their have been no withdrawals from invega reported. hard finding a psychiatrist for new diagnoses also. The mood swings have gotten a lot better but my anxiety and insomnia have not. I am 29wks pregnant and I know the medications I can safely use are limited. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions of what I should do. I am tired of this anxiety!!!

I was on Risperdal for 2 years and I noticed that at the end of the day it would wear off. so my doc put me invega sustenna and my wife noticed the difference pretty quickly. I am taking Gedon too and I am very happy with the effects.

Go to a therapist and psychiatrist who specialize in OCD therapy and medication. Invega took away all my obsessions and cured it all. And then, i started smoking pot, and it all came back, thus, smoking pot probably started my OCD in the first place. Your psychiatrist and therapist will help you so much. And keep praying, having faith and trust in God. God will make things better than you expected (He will make things perfect for you) if you wait on Him.

Should I stop consuming cannabis with invega sustenna? And if I don’t what are the interactions I was just told it causes sedation.

I don't know about the other meds but I take depakote and I found it helped with my anxiety and stabilised my mood quite quickly, i think it was simply because of the sedation side effects though..and the dose. Are you experiencing high anxiety at the moment? Could you be breathing fast? sometimes we get pins and needles and tingly sensations when we hyperventilate. Hope you feel better soon!

invega is an antipsychotic for schizophrenia. Do you have that? And you really can't just up and quit these meds, especially Xanax -- they can have a wallop of a withdrawal. You have to stop them slowly. You say you have PTSD -- were you in the military? I ask because most drug companies have programs to help people who can't afford medication, and veterans are better treated than others in this regard.

I stopped having my period when on invega and Pregnancy is not on the table already done the test. Can anyone help me?

I am on wellbutrin,klonopin,depakote, invega and ambien. I stopped invega due to pdoc but see him on monday. Nerves get out of control for me a lot of the time like daily. I get at the worst on the weekends when everything is winding down from my week that is stressfull. just don't think its the meds doing it to me. and why should I be differnt than I have been before I lose it and yell alot but that is me.

HEy guys Ive been on lamictal for a while now and invega and ive been doing pretty good, Id say about 70 percent of where I feel I should be. I still feel a lil sad at times but overall Im in a constructive mindset. My therapis talked about adding an anti depressent in the future if I want so im wondering which one works for yall? I dont want one with sexual side effects(negative) she recommended wellbutrin. How should I feel on this if I decide to take it?

the hospital took me off prestic, seroquel and lithium and the neurologist put me on lamital for both seizures and depression. also, i am taking invega and ativan for anxiety. the reason for my seizures is because of medicine. i lost my memory, use a cane and bit my tongue badly. caution: beware of anti-depressents--they can lower your seizure threshold. thank god i am getting better.

I am without invega now for 2 days and placed on zyprexa taken so far 2 days. Can anyone tell me when I will feel better. I am exhausted, listless, get dizzy When standing and terrible nausea. No appetite. I also have ideas of reference in my Psychosis. High anxiety. He also put me on cogentin for uncontrollable muscle Movements of my tongue rubbing my teeth all day. This is day 3 and it's still happening. I guess it's a lot of mental strain changing all these meds at once.
