I would have tunnel vision extreme dizziness my breaths would shorten and I was almost like paralized. I would just fall and there was nothing I could do to stop it. My cardiologist put me on a 30 heart monitor where the found that my heart rate would race up really fast (one time it was 168) then drop down to almost a complete stop in an instant. But that was all they ever said. Everything stopped for a while other than a few times a year.
I have been experiencing these flashes since I was a very young child (1st grade-ish). The flashes are instant, but may repeat constantly for a couple of minutes. Once I went completely blind for a couple of minutes, but that was the only time that happened. I had EEG's, MRI's, and EKG's in high school. They all come back negative for seizure activity, but I still feel like electricity is going through my brain when I experience the flashes.
I have always suffered from migraines but for the past several months I have been getting these instant headaches. They come out of no where and my entire head starts throbbing. Also with it I get a ringing in my ears and my vision is blurry. I do work with computers and on the phone, but they happen even when I am not at work. I developed a large very fast growing cataract and after removal had to have a tag laser a month later. I had almost instant results but within 24 hours my vision is blurry and cloudy again. My vision stands at 20/200 now corrected. I'm at a loss. Is there any hope I can get any better results with any other procedures?

I have been diagnosed with myopic degeneration and receive the intraocular injection which is very effective. My insurance carrier will not cover the cost of the injection (medicine and surgery). If I had a diagnosis of macular degeneration it would be fully covered. I am looking for suggestions as to how to make my case with the insurance carrier that this is not a one time event but a chronic condition that if not treated would result in a loss of vision.

Just once and it’s like instant but I notice it, and my eyes have just felt “off”, also sometime it feels like my eyes just wanna jump to the next thing/object in my field of view.. is this a side effect? I know Paxil can cause blurred vision which I’ve also experienced some episodes, but jerky eye movements? Has this happened to anyone else?
