492107 tn?1253840357 He said that you always see evidence of any type of abdominal surgery no matter how invasive the surgery. And, since I had such a huge surgery back in 2000, he expected to see some type of adhesion debries...but did not see anything. A great testimonial to Body rolling! I always suggest checking with the doctor. I am not a doctor, just a person miserable from the pain of adhesions.

Avatar m tn I have had back surgery and also my right hip replaced. My LLMD believed, especially the hip which became bone on bone, was from Lyme loving to eat through cartilage. I was bit on my right leg. That is very interesting, thanks for sharing.
Avatar f tn When there is major surgery surrounding joint and strong muscles there is often nerve damage from the surgery. However, there is damage also before the surgery and this is only compounded by the surgery itself. Further there may be infection after joint replacement also.
Avatar f tn Has anyone developed back pain after this surgery. I have never had back pain, except when I was pregnant, and am wondering if this could be a complication from the surgery. Thanks for any input!
Avatar f tn m still trying to recup from my l5/s1 fusion surgery with instrumentation I had feb 22nd. And knowing what the recovery pain is like for a one level lumbar fusion surgery, I sure the hell wouldn't want neck pain on top of it!!!! What is the reason ur docter gives u for wanting to do the two surgeries together? He isn't going to be the one recovering from them. Anyway, take care and keep me updated!!!!
Avatar f tn I will go to my surgeon in Minneapolis in one week to do tests to see if the infection has spread. The surgery will probobly happen a few days after that. If the infection has spread what is the likely course of action? I was so overwhelmed with everything I was being told that I forgot to ask.
Avatar f tn I had lap surgery last Wednesday and had a big nodule on my ureters excised, as well as polyps on my cervix and scar tissue from my last surgery. I have a bladder infection now as well and am on Cipro. Don't mess around, if the antibiotic doesn't work soon, go back. I am in full spasm and in the worst pain i have EVER experienced. My doc doubled my pain med dose and I have to go back and see her next week to be re-evaluated because she is concerned I am bleeding in my uterus.
Avatar f tn 9 year ago I had a hysterectomy. Unfortunately during surgery the doctor knocked a hole in my bladder. My ureter swelled and kinked. Two days later I had stint put in my ureter. The stint stayed in for nine weeks. I continued to see the urologist for a year and did well. Now I am beginning to have a lot of pain in the kidney and area of the ureter. I have to urinate often, otherwise "'m in great pain. Has anyone experienced this? I'm in the process of scheduling a cat scan.
408448 tn?1286883821 The tumor I feel is coming down from the diaphragm just behind the liver. I feel it from just under the right front rib cage through to my back. Not a pain, but a feeling of pressure and soreness and once in awhile a twinge. It is worse since the biopsy, but I noticed the sore feeling of pressure starting last fall. My internal med doc said it must be a muscle from carrying the baby. My onc said it might be my gallstones acting up.
1755089 tn?1376053555 I came back from my NS appointment yesterday. We had extremly cold temperature comming back home and the car heater is not the best, so I was realy cold! Beside that the NS told me thet accordingly with what he was seing in the fact that my pain and HD didn't got worst in the last few month, that he would ask a new MRI in a 4 to 5 months to see the progress. That did suprise me some! because when I saw him in november he wanted to do the sceduled for a surgery for shunt!
Avatar n tn Hi Increasing pain, redness, swelling or discharge following pilonidal sinus surgery indicates infection. Are you having these symptoms occasionally or continuously? If the symptoms persist, you should consult your doctor who might suggest antibiotics to treat any infection.
Avatar m tn her urine has been smelling of ammonia for last couple days but she was urinating ok I called the vet and took her in-he called me back and said he thought this was a totally separate issue from the disc surgery-not a urinary tract infection or kidney infection-said possible vaginitis and acute panceritis??may want to do surgery and make sure her spay was done correctly 2 yrs ago?
Avatar n tn My name is Rich. I had back surgery and it turned into a huge infection which lead to an emergency surgey to remove the infection that was crawling up and down my spine at the first surgey site (l4-l5 vertabrae). This is diagnosed as osteomylitis. I have been on oxycoidone for 2 years and now all my orthopedic doctor is saying I need an addictionologist. I still have severe back pain and he seems to think I'm addicted to these pills. O.k. then what do I do with the pain?
