Avatar f tn My left index finger developed a strange twitch stop and starts again been maybe almost 2 months now.....it's really annoying so i sometimes turn my hand into a fist so i wouldn't get that twitch again...i work all day in front of a computer for over ten yrs now...and don't know if it's due to the way i position my hand on the desk...or it's a sign of something more serious.. i'm right handed, by the way.
Avatar m tn Dear Feldman, It somewhat remained constant with episodes of intensity at times... as in the index finger forearm action triggered twitch still remains the same. At times, it can be strong and at times it can be weak. As of now (I thank god for it), my entire right arm has not tremored. The pain i think is healing up. The heal pain is more manageable now than it first manifested while the but pain happens only when I sit for too long. I still hae my bodywide twitch... think it may lessen abit.
Avatar n tn my index finger just recently strarted to twitch. it comes and goes..
Avatar f tn I have a middle finger that twitches and my right hand had action tremors , what can be going wrong and a warm painful sensation in the hand and finger
959691 tn?1259410214 s from playing the basss guitar because a play so hard I get blood blisters on my right index and my twicthing finger quite often. I get restless and some anxiety at night. I just realized that my middle finger twitches when I played the bass guitar intensely or after I did some tough garden work using my right hand. I don't know what's going on with the rest of my body though. Between my elbow and wrists feels like it's burning some times now.
Avatar n tn Recently the base of my thumb started hurting in the joint accompanied with some index and middle finger tremor/twitching. Finally it became annoying enough I went to my orthopedic surgeon. The thumb base was very sore. He said I had arthritis in the joint but wasn't sure what was causing the tremor. I have to preface this; a few months prior to this I would wake up and that hand would be completely numb. However, it is not doing this currently.
645800 tn?1466860955 Twice now in the last month I have gotten a twitch between my thumb and index finger. Both times the twitching went on for hours on end. But what really bothers me is that afterwards I have had a bruise show up in the area of the twitching. Does anyone else get bruises for their episode of twitches?
Avatar f tn I have some issues with my neck and the other day my right pointer finger twitched uncontrollingly all that day. Its stopped now but I've never had my fingers twitch like this before. Related? Who knows, keep me posted.
Avatar f tn My index finger twitches in a resting position, also my thumb sometimes...I also have a strange knot on top of the same hand, you can see it when I bend my hand down at the wrist. what does this mean? Its been going on for weeks now and I am very scared. I just worry that this is some kind of neurological issue, I have never experienced this until now and it is not going away. I cannot go to the doctor about this until July as I have no medical insurance until July 1st. Please help..
Avatar n tn ve been thinking I have some sort of nerve damage and possibly anxiety related issues. Lately my index finger has began to twitch or tremor (not sure of the right term) it will move in a left and right direction for a period of time. It also seems to occasionally move forwards as well but rarely. 90% of the time this occurs when I'm sitting at my computer desk. I admit I have always had terrible posture in general.
Avatar m tn There is no pain when it happens and it will happen any time of the day and twitch uncontrolably for anywhere from 10 minutes to over an hour. It seems to be twitching inbetween my thumb and index finger in that groove and on the inside of my thumb. What could be causing this?
3921209 tn?1348605095 Since I ake my meds, I feel grogy, I have difficulty walking normal (people ask my why I limp) and if I try to walk normaly, my head seems to spin. My index finger twitch when I work too much on the computer or when I am tired. Is this normal or I was prescribed the wrong medication?
Avatar f tn I would get random muscle twitches (eye, lip, leg, thumb, index or middle finger, etc) most of my life, but recently, my left middle finger would twitch for a month. It's recently started to lay off the twitches, but it twitched a few times today. During my research on this, I am still not sure how hypot. would have anything to do with muscle twitching. I know stress is often a trigger, but I don't feel stressed despite working two jobs.
Avatar f tn Six weeks ago I noticed my right foot felt heavier than my left. I'd also just had a lot of stress so I tried to ignore it, but it persists. There's nothing to see, I can do everything I want and sometimes it goes away, but the ankle and calf feel tight and heavy most of the day. Three weeks ago I also started to twitch in my right hand. It's tiny twitches somewhere between my index and middle finger. It's a couple of twitches per hour.
Avatar n tn For several months now, at random times (but a few times a day), the index finger on my left hand will twitch for about a minute and then stop. It is not painful, and I wouldn't bother to bring it up, except that recently it has been accompanied by a couple of other involuntary muscle movements: for about a month the top of the bridge of my nose would twitch in a similar way, and now the muscles around my left knee tighten up in a similar fashion.
Avatar f tn They occur at rest and my hand is so intense that I can see the muscle twitch and it moves my index finger. Has anyone had this with a spine injury??
Avatar f tn 5) Fast single twitch - both right fingers and left fingers 6) Rhymthmic pop twitch of the right forearm that moves my right index finger up and down which is my PRIMARY concern - It happens after action (pick up a mug, pull ups, opening a refrigerator, moving my arms, walking) and at rest. it feels like a pop in my right forearm at a rate of 1.5 -2hz (for 30sec to a min) which makes my right index finger goes, up and down, rest for a millisec, then goes up and then down.
Avatar f tn I had the same annoying twitch right inbetween my thumb and pointer finger last week. It kind of worried me for a minute as well but I think it's pretty normal as there are muscles in our hands and nerves that can be overworked causing the annoying pulsating twitch flutter that will come and go for a few seconds randomly. Do you do a lot of typing or computer work that involves your hand??
1468406 tn?1286489142 It pretty much goes away when I am not flaring up, but each flare brings it on stronger, and this time around it is including my middle finger, and occasionally my index finger and thumb. The tremor is NOT there when my hand is relaxed (for example, hanging at my side or with the fingers curled). However when I stretch my hand out/straighten my fingers, they start jumping around wildly. It is like they have a mind of there own.
Avatar f tn I tried looking for help all over the internet and nothing, people are always stating that their thumbs, index fingers, etc. Are twitching and nothing about a twitching pinky. My parents said it would go away by the morning so I'll update you guys tomorrow if it stopped or I woke up with it still happening. If someone has an answer or semi answer I'd be happy to hear it. Thank you for reading.
Avatar f tn Hello I'm 39 and for over 6 months now I've been getting the same twitch in my left hand mostly my index finger and from time to time my thumb with the odd pins n needles n sharp pain out of nowhere has anyone else had it seen to what we're your results please I'm waiting on a b12 blood test at the moment thx jax
Avatar n tn m 44yrs old and have had a muscle spasm very close to nonstop in my right hand inbetween the index finger and thumb for over two years. I mentioned it to my doctor about a year ago and was told that it is probably just stress related. Granted, I've been under a lot of stress in the past year and nearly as much the year before, but most of my life has been stressful. I've had MRIs done for headaches (ruled to be some sort of migraine) and there was no indication of brain issues.
Avatar m tn I herniated L6/S1 10 years ago and suffer from spondylyosis for over 30 years. A year ago my right index finger was at a right angle and could not be lifted. My finger is now almost straight unless I exercise it (typing). I did an EMG last year and was told I had reinnervation deficiencies in both arms, which were worse on the right side. My neurology exam was normal. Until two weeks ago except for my index finger I was symptom free.
Avatar n tn The tingling pains in my hands are mostly at the tips or index finger. I can also feel it in my legs. What could this be? How serious is it?
