Also my forearm sometimes is hard to control. The left shoulder blade pain is where it all began 3 weeks ago. I had severe pain in that area, along with the numb finger.

Ever now and then, some days more than others I get a sharp burring sensation in my left pinky, or index finger that comes and goes quickly but is painful enough to make me stop what I am doing and if I am holding something I would either let go or drop it. I'm thinking arthritis but am not sure.
About 8 months back I also developed a burning sensation in my hands and feet. The problem does not stop there. I have plenty of other symptoms like impotence, stomach bloating, sharp pain in left big toe (once in a while), pulsatile tinnitus, muscle weakness, nightmares during sleep, abnormal sounds in stomach especially on an empty stomach, urinary incontinence, frequent urination. I do not suffer from diabetes although I do have high cholesterol.
The cheese was cold and my other fiingers felt the cold and my index finger felt the cheese as hot. The second time that I happened, I had nothing in my hand and I had the sensation that my finger was being burned, as if I had touched a hot pan on a stove. The third time it happened I was touching another person on the shoulder and once again the sensation that I was touching something hot. What kind of doctor should I see about this? I have not been to a doctor in more than a year.

I had unprotected sex with a female around the beginning of June and shortly after I noticed a mild burning sensation when I ejaculated. I knew this was likely to be some kind of STD as a result, (I had been diagnosed and treated for non-specific urethritus 2 years earlier) so proceeding to get an appointment with my GP. He prescribed a 10 day course of Doxycycline 100mg capsules which I took as prescribed. I returned to the doctors as my symptoms persisted.
My 9 yr old son has been having brief episodes of a burning sensation on the side of thumb side index finger. Sometimes its both index fingers at the same time and sometimes its only one side. One time it was only the thumbs. The side of the finger actually turns red. It last for about 10 seconds and then its gone. So far it only has happened about 1/2 hour or so after he wakes up. He said running it under cold water helps. He is on fish oil, multi vitiamin, D3, Probiotics, and B50.
There is severe itching and a burning sensation, releived and aggrevated by scratching. I've been given hydrocortizone and piriton but they do little to help the problem. The itching is only briefly releived by pouring very hot water on my fingers. What can this be?
I am having burning sensation on the side of my index finger between the middle joint and top joint. There has not been any injury, no blisters, skin breakage, tingling or discoloration. The burning seems to be closer to the middle joint and more tender if I put any pressure on the joint. I had surgery many years ago for carpal tunnel but this doesnt feel anything like that. It is in only one finger and always on the side. I have tried using an anti imflamatory cream with no relief.
Why do you think that I have burning sensation in my left index finger?
These days, there is severe burning sensation in the back accompanied by Depression. Before I die, I long to be free from meds and the anxiety/depression. What can I do?
If you look at the top of your left hand, make a line from the little finger joint to the index finger joint then continue the line to the thumb joint then continue to the right side of the left wrist then across to the left side of the left wrist then back to the little finger joint, thus outlining the topside of the palm of the hand area. Pretty much, right in the middle of that area draw a circle 1.5" in diameter. That's where my hand hurts.
Three months ago, I noticed that the tip of my index finger and my thumb would get hot, lasting for about a minute to a half an hour at a time. The burning throbbing sensation alternates from my index finger to my thumb, then it will clear up and return the next day. Can you please explain to me what is causing this?
For about 9-10 months once every couple of weeks I had sort of burning sensation in my index finger (right). It was very much like a normal sun burn. To be honest didn't take it seriously. After about 7 months one day during the day and night I had a terrible burning sensation all over my on both hands (never had before) and since it had happened after lifting some heavy bags throughout the day I thought OK! it might be a good cause. It however made me a little bit worry.
My 3rd toe is numb and when I touch it I feel a burning sensation. It's been like this for weeks. Also just this morning in my right hand my index, middle, and ring fingers including my thumb are numb and tingle when I touch the tips but burn when I touch lower than the tips. My pinky is fine though oddly. Will this ever go away and what might be the cause?
There are two locations, at the outside base of my right index finger and in the crook of my elbow, where I have been experiencing extra sensitivity (coldness hurts), tingling, constant mild pain, and every so often, a shooting pain. The symptoms are more prominent in my finger. I am only 23, taking no medications, and have not experienced any injuries in this location. Any information on this or possible solutions to lessen the pain, would be very much appreciated.
-right now, my hands are not burning that much as 1 hour ago (the burning feeling is reduced), but I feel tightness/toughness in my fingers, tiredness in my wrist and stretches in my ring finger and index finger up to the elbow muscles, and a little pain from my forearm to the fingertips. I wonder what I should do at this moment? What can relieve this feeling? and What could be the cause? and if I need to get a medical care right now? Thank you very much for your advices!

During my first major attack my upper chest itched so bad I almost scratched through my skin. Now I am limited to one tiny little spot on the tip of my right index finger and it drives me nuts. Though I can't complain as it could be much worse. I am currently doing a steroid infusion and my at home nurse suggested that maybe the itch is from anxiety and not so much the MS. Has anyone every been presented with this idea before. I took a xanax and nothing happened to reduce the itch.
meanwhile, this burning sensation i started this thread over is starting to drive me up the wall. it's been going on for almost a month now. i'm almost starting to believe that it's not herpes related, because herpes - so far as i know - wouldn't burn for a week, go away for 3 days, burn for another week, go away for 3 more days, then come back and burn some more. it'd just burn straight through until it had run its course, right?
