I usually Bite the dead skin around my fingernail when I get stressed, and I had this broken skin ( small wound ) beside my index, after 12 hours I met a girl, I don't know whether she has HIV or No, I did fingering for her for about 2 minutes and then directly I remove it and ran to the toilet washing it with Soap and Dettol.
I worked hard for a couple months doing some exercises I found online trying not to fail my classes and make money. I regained much of my mobility however my index finger (the finger with the knuckle I broke) won't bend down all the way its now been 6 months since the break. this has made hitting the bag and future self defense a bit more tricky when throwing a punch my index finger hits first and makes it bend causing extreme pain which would be impractical in a self defense scenario.

after washing i noticed a 1 cm cut on my finger(palmar surface)which was pain very very slightly.On careful examination i found it was broken skin on my index finger ,the cut ends were seperable but it was not bleeding nor i noticed any scab.it was my first experience so i was not careful while doing the practicals.i dont know whether there was blood on my finger or not before washing. i also dont know whether the gloves was tempered while doing practicals.
t been able to make a fist since it happened however i can move my hand around and used by thumb, index sand middle finger, still have a lump in the 5th metacarpal bone, tender to the touch. I have also been experiencing numbness and cold fingers in my left hand. And yesterday i had what i can only describe as a muscle spasm in my pinkie finger and pain radiating into my forearm.
Can someone tell me is what could be wrong and is it to late to do anything?
Turns out arthritic carpal bones have injured tendons to 1st thumb then index finger a month later. Wrist has to be fused to prevent further damage and carpal tunnel tendon repair attempted in 2 separate surgeries. Can I do any kind of (light) weight training or use a rowing machine after healing up?

I had an infection on my left index finger last week with yellow pus so I used hot water and a wash cloth wrapped it around my finger and put lite pressure on the finger and drained the pus.after that i used typical ointment and bandage until the infections was gone.however its back again ugh!!!!!!!!!!!!! does anyone know why the infection is back AGAIN.

I took a puck off of my right index finger and didn't really notice any immediate pain. Over the next couple days I noticed that I couldn't form a fist because my finger was very swollen and hurt to bend that far. Upon further observation I noticed that my first finger knuckle had become very wide, but the rest of my finger remained regular size. It is also very sensitive to touch.
Since then, that area has cleared up, but there have been single bumps that appear in a random sort of pattern - 1 bump on my left ring finger at the base in between the fingers, 3 bumps separated by 1/2 inch on the back of my right hand in a triangle pattern, 1 single bump on the back of my right index finger, 2 small bumps on the underside of my right pinkie finger....etc. I currently have about 15-20 random bumps between my right & left hand.
They are NOT itchy.
I have HSV2, and when I went to use the restroom and wiped myself I accidentally touched my vagina with my index finger. I don't necessarily have a painful cut or a broken cuticle but i have that piece of skin you pick at and rip to the point it hurts and stings whenever any liquid touches it, on the side of my nail. But it is pretty much pain free now and I think its healed, but theres a piece of loose skin still, maybe due to dryness, i don't know.
Yesterday I fell while hiking and broke my finger (right hand ring finger) Went to the ER got an x-ray that showed the break in-between the knuckle and the last joint on the finger. They gave me a referal to an ortho but he is out of town for a couple of weeks, so they said to call my Dr to get a referal for an ortho as soon as possible. The finger is severally swollen, bruising bad and I can't move it up or down.
Ok so today I have noticed when I woke up about an hour or so later my right index finger was swelling, not a lot but it was slightly pink and big and kinda burned. Anyways it freaked me it and eventually it went away but then several hours later, right now which is nighttime I noticed my left index finger started feeling the same way and surely enough it's slightly swollen barely noticeable but still noticeable.
Anyone know what this could be?

Although i am pretty sure that he did not use his little finger to penetrate me, it must have been the thumb, index or middle finger, I was a bit paranoid about the possibility of any secretion from the blister having dissolved with the oil and that passed on to the finger that penetrated my anus. The penetration itself was very superfluous, say nail deep, so i assume it had not reached the parts of the intestines that are permeable. But i am not sure.
The right index finger knuckle swells and hurts in the evenings and by mid morning it subsides. The pain radiates through the right shoulder into the mid section of my back. Can anyone suggest a treatment? As I have no insurance, I was wondering if there is a over the counter medication that would help. This happens only from Mid fall through March. I do yoga and am quite active otherwise.
