t the right forum but I feel more comfortable asking questions here...I had my daughter on the 9th and at first I had a really good milk supply where my breast would become engorged every two hours if I didn't pump or feed regularly....and I was pumping 2/3 ounces from each breast every time.....now I can hardly get an half an ounce :(....I try to have my daughter on my breast every two hours but it seems like she gets so irritated because nothing is coming out....

I have not thought about milk will increase the sugar level. Of course I have changed the diet. I have included few fruits, vegetables and protein foods which I have not included earlier. So im kinda stuck in my ways. I would love for my baby to have my breast milk....but I dont like the idea of my nipples being chomped on. It's not recommended that you express breast milk regularly before delivering baby. If I were you I'd be questioning my midwife. Expressing breast milk can put you into preterm labor as it releases oxytocin which causes uterine contractions. Also it can make it so you don't develop a good supply after baby is born.
