I am concerned about side effects. I have complcated migraines with aura(most of the time). My migraines mimic stroke(rolling one sided numbness,facial droop,speech issues etc).I also get elevated BP and heartrate when it's happening.So when I read that Imetrex can cause these symptom it concerned me. How would I be able to tell the difference?What are your experiences with it? Thanks ,Theresa....

He was put on topamax and imitrex for migraines which are supposedly unrelated and are what sent us to the neurologist in the first place. Migraines continue, some tingling in hands and feet, which is likely the topamax. However, today he had a migraine (been on topamax just over three weeks). Once it wore off I took him to school.

I have suffered through the fever, the body aches, let me make that severe muscle pains, abdominal pains, and the list goes on. The one side effect that is really worrying me is the depression. They just had me on so many strong meds with side effects. I had to try something on my own. Like most people who experience side-effects with Imitrex, I get a rash, a racing heart beat and a feeling of heaviness in my chest (like asthma). The side-effects seem like nothing to me though, because they go away quickly (usually in half an hour, sometimes it takes a few hours) and they are nothing compared to the migraines. I also often use Naproxen in combination with either of my triptans.

Hi there! Well, I've been on Effexor for over ten years. Started at a very low dose and I am at 150 mg for a long time now. So, I can't say if I remember all the side effects I had. But I will say that I definitely got sick to my stomach if I didn't eat immediately before taking it. This went away after a week or so as my body adjusted to the medication. I believe that the jitters and anxious feeling is all part of your anxiety.

Doing so can cause major withdrawals and horrible side effects. I have a link that tells you all about seroquel. I do not reccomend you read it, as it will only scare you off it. do all of these crappy (literally) side effects EVER fade??? ive only been on the combined treatment for a month now....it just seems to b getting worse...the vomitting, crapping, fatigue,body aches, head aches, raw throat and mouth....i just hate to ask my docs for all kinds of meds....just wondering if it gets better closer to the one year marker????

For me, to have some relief from the severe depression made the side effects more than bearable, they are nothing in comparison.

His Doctor told him to go to our GP for pills to treat his side effects. We finally went to see a liver specialist and found out he was allergic to the meds and should abort them immediately. There was a supposed 98% cure rate for this type of Hep C but it did nothing but tear down his body. On major side effect is Cluster Headaches. They are migraines that last for days and weeks and are very frequent. The only small relief is acupuncture. Has anyone else experienced this?
