Dear doctors , I have a small genital wart on my foreskin and I started to use imiquimod cream recently . The instruction says that I should use the imiquimod cream during bedtime . However , I have more erections during sleep (than day time ), the imiquimod cream might be wiped off by the underwear when I have an erection. In this case , Can I use imiquimod during the day instead of bedtime ?

Can I fix the issue to get a cream over the counter.

yes yes, I am clean from Vicoden, Antidepresants but still am using a sleep aid, have been using over the counter meds for sleep since the 80's then went to prescription sleep aid and now I only sleep 3 or 4 hours using them. I am going to go off them soon. My Dr would like to see me wait until Jan just because I came off two meds this year and had surgery's but please don't go to prescription sleep aids I think it is harder to get off them than OCT.

My daughter had warts, not sexually transmitted, on her hands. Her doctor used a basic, over-the-counter, wart freezing system. It was used one time on each wart, and they eventually fell off. I am not sure if I would recommend using it on the lips though. The hands would be okay though.

3) I would like to continue applying the Imiquimod cream, but I also want to monitor my penis over the next 14 days for any signs of herpes. Is it possible that application of Imiquimod cream could delay/alter the appearance of HSV2 lesions, so that I would not know if I have acquired HSV2??? I know the blood test for herpes would not be affected by Imiquimod, but I'm wondering about the appearance of herpes lesions. Can I continue applying the Imiquimod??

Should I put Neosporin or something on the lesions? Or is this normal and should I just continue to regularly apply the imiquimod cream? Thanks!

Here is my situation. I've been seeing this guy with a good head on his shoulders. He has just told me as of last night he had contracted genital warts on the base of his penile shaft back in 2010. He had cryo done and treated with Imiquimod after in 2010, which took care of it, and same treatment again in 2011 for a recurrence in the very same spot treated along with Imiquimod.

There shouldn't be any chemical reactions taking the two together. The combination will not give the methadone a boost or cause any kind of "high".
