I have heard so many differing percentages on how many people in the US are addicted to prescription pain meds. Does anyone have the true story. It came out of a discussion I was having with friends this morning. I had heard that 30% of US citizens were abusing meds. That seemed a bit high to me. However, I did find out that the US is the leading country for meds abuse. Question...does anyone really know??

It profiled and talked to children of illegal immigrants who were born in the US. These were good kids, all getting ready for college, and the focus was on whether or not they should be allowed to stay or deported along with their parents (if deportation was in fact the final decision). d like to express this in a different way, but trading one drug from another will not answer the problem, esp. with pot as it is illegal and look at the consequences you could face if you did get caught trying to find it or if it was on you. I am 28weeks along now and I havent smoked in a few weeks and am passing my drug tests. I am due march 30th and was just wondering if anyone knew if I am passing my drug tests then my baby is alo right? Or could it still be in my babies system also?

Should we do more than slap people on the wrist for selling illegal drugs? What more can be done for those who are lost in drug addiction?... Illegal drug use has effected some of my family and friends, and probably yours. I would really like some input on this.

At face value tho, if its illegal its illegal for a multitude of reasons. Some make sense and some dont and it usually bottoms out to the almighty dollar somewhere along the line?

Could be Kratom. It is bought online, and they put "not for human consumption" on it to please the FDA and DEA. Otherwise, it would be illegal. On the sites, it sells itself by saying, "it's incense for burning" or some crap. The thing is that he's YOUR child, underage, living in your home??? I'd toss it and send him to rehab before it's too late. That may sound harsh, but you may be saving his life. This is what you actually found.

I am recovering from breast cancer and have chronic pain in the breast area. I just purchased 200 mg ibuprofen/12.8 mg codeine (package of 96) online from a drugstore. It said it was an over the counter drug and I want to make sure I'm not doing anything illegal. Does anyone know if this is okay to purchase online? We are in deep trouble and you think the economy is bad now just want until more large cooperation start leaving, due to heavy fines, taxes. They say its only gone to cost us $15 a month--who believes that? They have the people hood winked thinking this is about saving the planet. Well, I probably shoudn't start his thread - but here goes! What do you think of Cap & Trade - it passed the house today! I COMPLETELY DISAGREE! The reason why it is illegal in the US is why would any pharmaceutical company want a drug to come out that would cure addiction w one dose? The amount of money they would lose. It is more beneficial to keep people one **** like methadone. That is just my opinion, but I am thinking of going this route. Do your homework before you decide though. Hope this helps.
