272338 tn?1252280404 The local newspaper did an interview with me after we came home from Springfield. If any of you are interested in reading it, go to olneydailymail.com It is the top news story for today. (small town paper!) I have recieved a phone call from a woman about 15 miles from here that is a 10 year suvivor of stage IV ovarian cancer. We talked for quite awhile and both agreed that is was nice to finally meet someone in our area that we would be able to talk to.
Avatar n tn Today is 11/28/2012. Newspaper articles stated that generic Lidocaine patches would be available this date. Who is manufacturing these and where can I buy them?

Avatar m tn Welcome to our Forum. Your question is not "dumb" by any means. I would urge you to believe the test results you have. your exposure was low risk and your tests, which are VERY reliable, were negative. The headlines and newspaper articles you have read are "spun" to get attention. While they serve to bring attention to emerging problems, they also tend to raise unwarranted concerns. In your case I see no need for further testing or for concern.

Avatar f tn Basically some of the articles are legal not just illegal. Illegal was the 5 that sued for being detained after 9/11 The whole thing with special treatment gets me so once i started I lumped it all together.. Anyway....I dont hate these people, I just dont want people coming her and wanting what they feel are their rights, when in reality, they go for special treatment. (not all, but some) I do want to add, that I believe there are many wonderful immigrants. VERY MANY.
Avatar n tn If a doctor prescribes you a drug that is FDA approved, as appears to have happened in this case, you didn't take an illegal drug. It's only illegal if you take it without a prescription.

Avatar f tn t get me prengnant because he has a extremely low sperm count because when he was younger he did some different types of illegal drugs, and well I dont think I am yet but does anyone know the chances of getting pregnant even though he thinks he can't? I think other wise just can't seem to find any articles about it online anywhere...
Avatar m tn These negative aspects make it a potential drug. That is why there are countries which have banned this drug. In the United States, however the drug is fairly new and it is banned only in a few states. If found possession of kratom in those states, you could land in up jail for 6 months or could have to pay a fine of $500 or both. Some people categorize kratom products as a legal high drug. Legal high drugs are those which can get you high but are still not banned by FDA.
Avatar n tn Hello. This is something best left to a professional. You may be able to resolve this with conventional psychotherapy or even through hypnosis, although there are mixed opinios on that in the medical community. I had a similar thing happen when I was very young, I witnessed a very disturbed individual go on a shooting spree, and then kill himself. For a long time I didn't know if it really happened.

Avatar m tn Could be Kratom. It is bought online, and they put "not for human consumption" on it to please the FDA and DEA. Otherwise, it would be illegal. On the sites, it sells itself by saying, "it's incense for burning" or some crap. The thing is that he's YOUR child, underage, living in your home??? I'd toss it and send him to rehab before it's too late. That may sound harsh, but you may be saving his life. This is what you actually found.
Avatar m tn Good link here on straterra - http://www.crazymeds.us/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Meds/Strattera Basically it is an antidepressant. Has no stimulants in it. Thus I would think that it should pose no problem with urine or hair tests - unless, they are screening for antidepressants.

Avatar n tn Hi. Well last year I was tested and the test was done in front of me. I was on Tramadol at the time and I passed the test. I asked what exactly they were testing for and they said "Opiates" "Speed" & Pot. Tramadol is a man made Opiate and when I was test it didn't show up as an Opiate. Good luck to ya and when you take the test just tell them you take them and your doctor gives them to you, like I did.
Avatar m tn I just got hired at local newspaper and I think I'm allergic to newspaper!!! Can't believe this. I'm not allergic to anything and I was so happy to get this job. But I can't stop coughing and my eyes are sore and itchy. I really want to fix this. I don't work directly with the handling of papers but they are all around me. What can I do?
