Common Questions and Answers about Ideal weight per age

weight

Avatar n tn Your ideal weight depends on your age, as well as your height and weight. A child's ideal weight will be different from that of a teenager and a teenager will be different from that of an adult. There are a variety of exercises that will burn fat.
Avatar f tn your best weight depends on several factors besides your age. How tall are you? What is your body type, i.e., small boned, large boned, average boned, medium boned. The best thing to do is type into your internet, "Ideal weight, or what is my ideal weight"? The internet will help you figure it out. I am 5'11" tall and my ideal weight would be 105 lbs. (if I were younger) to 112 lbs. I have a small frame.
Avatar f tn The ideal amount is 25-35. By the last 2 months or so you'll be gaining a pound per week. Just be careful I don't think its too much personally. If your pre pregnancy weight is normal you'll gain more weight than an over weight person who will gain very little to nothing.
Avatar f tn Depends on your age, current weight, activity level, etc.. Not every woman who is 5'5" is the same, so the weight can vary.
457438 tn?1302068407 On average, infants gain about 1 kilogram per month for the first 3 months, ½ kilogram per month from 3-6 months of age, 1/3 kilogram per month from 6-9 months of age and ¼ kilogram per month from 9-12 months of age. Full term infants double their birth weight by 4 months of age and triple it by 12 months of age.
Avatar f tn First, it should be noted that based on 147 lbs and 5 ft 5 inches tall, your weight and BMI fall within the normal category. Per the calculator, your ideal body weight range is 111.17 to 150.23 and current BMI was calculated at 24.46. From the history you have provided, in my humble opinion, I believe your body may be in starvation mode. This is when your caloric intake is not sufficient to maintain your weight based on the level of energy you are expending.
Avatar m tn Hello, What should be ideal age for an woman for her first pregnancy ? Can a woman around age of 34-35 become preganant ? What are the precautions for late pregannacy. Are the women remain equally sexually active and reactive over the age of 30 ?
Avatar m tn I have since lost about 15 KG and it is still going down @ 1 kg per month. I was happy to reach my ideal weight. However, I do not know how to stop further loss. I am Diabetic, so can not discontinue Metformin. Any suggestion ?
Avatar f tn Hi :), I don't have a family doctor, so, I'm mainly going off of how others lost the weight, but I do know that losing a lot of weight very quickly is unhealthy which is why I set the year or so timeline. I don't expect to be exactly on target then it is just a reaching goal. I've checked the charts and the average rate for my height and age is 120 to 145. I've used to be very small and gain weight quickly when I hit my teens and haven't been able to lose it.
Avatar f tn Hormonal changes that happen during the pregnancy make it extremely difficult to achieve your pre-baby weight. As far as the speed of weight loss, 1-2lbs per week is a healthy rate of weight loss - especially for someone like you that isn't too far from "ideal body weight". There isn't anything magical about Insanity or other similar programs. They are high intensity exercises that can be done at home with little equipment - really nothing more to it than that.
Avatar n tn Hello, I am a 29 year old female, 5'4 and 131 pounds. I recently lost over 100 pounds in the course of a year through diet and exercise. (starting weight 244 in September of 2010). I have always been overweight, and now have a lot of excess skin, which is to be expected. My question is about my ideal weight. My goal started at 150 pounds, then 140, then 130, now I'm thinking my ideal would be 120.
Avatar f tn m not much of a hurry I am taking my time but if it is ok i wanted to do it fast but i dunno if I should go under 1200 calories a day? and what is the ideal weight you should lose per week?
Avatar m tn I read that the fda approved dosage is 1.5 mcg per kg. Is that the ideal dosage or is it higher? I figure at my weight of 85 kg I was getting 1.76 mcg per kg. Now I am being dose reduced to a little over 1.05 mcg per kg (the guideline for adverse event neutropenia). There's really nothing I can do, just obsessing about the reduction. I am going to have two injections at that level before I see the doc again and hopefully go back to full dose. These will be week 8 and week 9 injections.
Avatar m tn Meant to say "waist", not weight :) So, if your height is 70 inches, than your waist (no sucking it in :) ) should be no more than 35 inches. BTW I doubt you lost 4lbs of fat today, probably most of it is water weight. Best to lose weight gradually anyway -- like 1-2 lbs per week. Not sure what your nurse means by "make no diff".
Avatar f tn Please verify your height. Are you 57" or 5'7". Ideal weight is not based on age, alone. It's based on a calculation of current height, weight, activity level and age....... I can help you do that, if you like.
