Avatar f tn When I found out I was pregnant I was 197lbs and then I lost weight and now at 38 weeks I weigh 202 lbs but my doc said my weight gain doesn't really reflect the babies gain he's estimated my baby to be 8 lbs 4 Oz
Avatar f tn I'm 38.5 weeks and have gained a total of 25lbs this is also my second. Not everyone's boobs grow everyone's body, pregnancy, and baby are different.
4963258 tn?1395602072 How much weight did everyone gain in their first trimester? I'm a FTM and I've already gained 8lbs, just entered my second trimester (14wks) today. It's hard to go for walks as well, whenever I walk just up the road and back at least one side of my hip will start hurting and then I have to lay with my feet up. Any one else have that problem?
Avatar n tn Anyone know a good way to gain weight? I'm not sick, I just have a high metabolism. I'm 5'4" and I weigh 102. Yeah, I know, what am I complaining for? It's not all it's cracked up to be... I don't weigh enough, and I feel like I eat all the time....
Avatar f tn Your midwife or doctor will let you know how much weight is ideal for you to put on during your pregnancy. If you have a normal BMI they say between 11 - 16kg weight gain is fine.. I at 29w and I think I have gained around 10kg so far, but in the beginning weight gain was very slow! At this stage I think your fine :) But remember weight gain is not all you putting on weight.. bub, fluid, placenta all add to it.
15977349 tn?1444392162 If a woman’s body weight is less than 95% of predicted ideal body weight or greater than 120% of predicted ideal body weight, then appropriate weight gain or weight loss should be the primary therapeutic recommendation." (asrm.
Avatar f tn ve only gained 13 pounds thus far. My doctor always said for me 20-30 pounds was ideal during pregnancy. Anything after can cause complications and/or be tougher to loose after baby. Also a lot of my mommy friends said they gained most of their weight their last month of pregnancy when baby goes faster.
Avatar f tn ve had small friends gain 15lbs and some gain 60 lbs and both babies were healthy. On another note, the more you gain the more you have to lose too. I would stress to much about it but I think you should listen to your doctor. He/she is the professional and he knows your health history and risk factors more than a bunch of strangers.
Avatar f tn s a lot to gain at what you are. Ideal weight is 25 to 30 pounds. But you were very thin to begin with so I think you are just fine! Your body needs fat for energy for your growing baby with my last son I started at 118 and when I finally had him I was 142.
Avatar f tn I was around 125 before I was pregnant and I have gained 40, I have 4 weeks left. My doctor said everyone gains different and if you were ideal or under weight before you will tend to gain more during. Don't stress about that like I did you will lose it after!
7058746 tn?1393435420 With my first I gained most of my weight in the first few months. I just looked fat for awhile till my bump started showing. Lol. For the last few months I barely gained anything. Overall I gained a total of 30 pounds. This time around I've been much more sick so I haven't gained as much right of the bat. Guess every pregnancy is different.
Avatar f tn m almost 25 weeks, and have gained 7 lbs now. 25 lbs is the ideal for smaller women. Overweight women are only supposed to gain about 25. I gained 40 with my son and it was bad lol. I'm hoping to keep it less then 25 lbs with my daughter. Every one is different. My sister is almost 27 weeks and has g gained 30 lbs already but and needed it. It's her 3rd baby and she's so skinny. She started at 107 lbs and shes 26. With my son 4 years ago I started at 109 and ended at 150.
Avatar f tn I've gained 46 I'm 34&4 I don't get it either I'm not going over bored eating I'm eating like I always have but I'm gaining like crazy & cried today when I realized I've gained almost 50 pounds..
Avatar n tn Ideal pregnancy weight gain is all based off your starting weight/height ratio. If you feel you are gaining to fast maybe try healthier smaller meals and adding some excessive (light eversizs) you can't do a whole lot about weight gain during pregnancy besides earrings right and trying to avoid binging on cravings and instead eat just enough to knock the craving out. Unless your dr is concerened (and they will tell you) just enjoy the pregnancy!
Avatar f tn The ideal amount is 25-35. By the last 2 months or so you'll be gaining a pound per week. Just be careful I don't think its too much personally. If your pre pregnancy weight is normal you'll gain more weight than an over weight person who will gain very little to nothing.
Avatar f tn Iv lost weight went from 197 to 190 I am hoping to gain some weight soon because if not could be unhealthy for the baby
Avatar f tn I think 30 pounds is probably the ideal weight gain for most pregnant women.I lost ten pounds, then gained 20 back with my daughter. With my son I gained ten pounds total. Overall, my daughter was my healthier newborn. My son was a month early and was in the NICU. Don't get discouraged or upset over your weight.
Avatar f tn I have been on it for over 2 years with no weight gain. My weight has remained stable, but I notice that no matter what I do, I don't lose weight either. I'm about 20 pounds over my "ideal" weight, according to the charts, and even though I'm muscular, I still have more tummy fat than is healthy. Cymbalta has been a good choice for me since I also have a lot of pain. I've looked at the side effects and weight gain doesn't seem to be an issue in most cases.
Avatar n tn Your ideal weight depends on your age, as well as your height and weight. A child's ideal weight will be different from that of a teenager and a teenager will be different from that of an adult. There are a variety of exercises that will burn fat.
Avatar f tn t growing normally? Just need a little advice. I know the normal weight gain is 25-30 pounds for a woman who is at their ideal weight before pregnancy.
1473300 tn?1397588529 Your height and weight put you in the same weight gain category as me and by 20 weeks they want us to gain between 20-30 pounds. According to the book, we should gain 40-56 pounds by 38 weeks. The reason they give for gaining more weight early on is that with twins as they grow your stomach has less room for food so they want you to store up some fat at the beginning. This is why I will definitely get my doctor's opinion before following this advise.
Avatar f tn So Im 18 weeks and I dont usually update my weight on this app, but I decided to do it this week and I've gained 17 pounds! Is that a lot!? Cause this app thingy says "excessive weight gain" and my sister gained a lot of weight during her pregnancy and she ended up having a c section because my nephew was 10 pounds! :( Should I be worried?
Avatar f tn It makes me feel like a whale...even thou I have gained close to 40. But my dr said the ideal weight gain is 25 lbs for the entire pregnancy.
