1938479 tn?1325705620 If Arnold Schwarzenegger was to use a BMI (weight vs height) chart while bodybuilding, it would have classified him as obese. Another way to look at fat versus muscles is that a cubic inch of muscle will weigh more than a cubic inch of fat. Muscle is about 18 percent more dense than fat. So a better question is am I in shape or do i need to convert more areas of fat to muscle? With that said, here is a weight chart that should only be used to give you an idea, so don't take it as gospel.
Avatar f tn Has your veterinarian examined your new dog yet? They would be best able to assess his weight and determine if he is too thin. A fecal exam for parasites would also be a good idea. The most common nutritional problem in US dogs is obesity, and it is generally a good thing to be able to see a "waist" from above and from the side.
Avatar n tn Hi, my husband's height is 5'11", 32 years old and his weight is 107kg. Will you please suggest a complete effective diet chart and a exercise routine to loose at least 7 kg within a month. He has to work a lot. So only one hour he can spend on his exercise time. So what will be the effective exercises on that one hour. And please again suggest a complete diet chart and routine of the whole day meal.
Avatar f tn That depends on your frame size, as well as your age. Your frame size is how large your bones are. Here's a bit of height weight chart, that pertains to your height, but only if you are an adult female. If you're not an adult, the figures would be different.
2095187 tn?1333091434 Your weight is actually low for your age and if you want to grow taller, please do not go on a diet to lose weight. The average weight for your age and height is 115 pounds. If you think you look fat, then I would exercise as it is a way to tone muscles instead of dieting to lose weight. I don't think you are fat. The pictures in magazine are air brushed digitally on the computer to make girls look thinner than they are in real life. http://www.chartsgraphsdiagrams.
Avatar n tn I am 41year old ,my height 5.9inches and weight 80kg.please suggest diet chart.
Avatar f tn 14+4 I've been really up and down with my weight. I gain 5lbs then I lose 4lbs then I gain and lose the same 2 lbs. This is my second pregnancy with my son my body did the same thing and by the end I think I gained under 12lbs.
Avatar n tn Your ideal weight depends on your age, as well as your height and weight. A child's ideal weight will be different from that of a teenager and a teenager will be different from that of an adult. There are a variety of exercises that will burn fat.
Avatar f tn Our daughter's height has been slowly dropping on her growth chart. Over the period of 2 years, she has gone from 95% down to 10%. The progression has been this: Birth: 95% 3 months: 50% 6 months: 45% 12 months: 25% 20 months: 15% 2 years: 10% She had serious health issues when born (two heart defects, heart failure, failure to thrive with weight) but these have all been resolved for over a year.
Avatar f tn Hopefully u have a nice doc cuz I was 187 prepregnancy weight and I gained 20 pounds my whole pregnancy and my doc told me to stop eating!!!
Avatar n tn No!!! I am 16 as well and though I don't know you, I know what you're going through (to a certain extent) I'm 5'9" and I weigh 180. Technically, I'm only partially overweight, according to the BMI chart. Anyway, I've had friends your height who weighed 90 pounds, and they get sick very easily, and when they get sick, it's bad. Your body will start to shut down because it cannot support itself. The average weight for your height is at least 110. At the very least.
Avatar m tn I'd say probably neither............5'2 is not a bad height to be. Below is a small bit from a height/weight chart. So depending on your frame size, you could weigh anywhere from 108 - 143....... Height Small Frame Medium Frame Large Frame 5'2" 108-121 118-132 128-143 If you eat well and get plenty of exercise, so you aren't getting flabby, you are about right........
Avatar f tn ... its annoying. don't tell someone they're above or below the range. put it on a graphic or show us some other way! be a little smarter and more compassionate app designers! lol. i know i'm on track and doing fine. i just cracked the upper weight limit today and boooooooooooom.... it says i'm above average. i wanted to throw my phone across the room!
Avatar n tn 59 kg is 130 lb. There are many factors, but one chart suggests if you are 5'4" or 5'5", that could be an ideal weight. The charts don't mention that some people have bigger, denser bones, longer or shorter legs by proportion, and more or less muscle. Looking good and being healthy is more about having muscle and having a strong heart and effective lungs. To feel good and turn heads, WORK OUT.
Avatar n tn His weight is just below the 5th percentile line and his height is just below the 10th percentile for his age. The height and weight are in the growth chart; however, the weight is on the bottom. Maybe the following will help you to know the amounts of food he needs daily to gain weight. Guideline for a 9-12 month old child should eat the following: Breast-milk or Formula (6-8oz) 3-5 feedings a day, Dairy 1 serving a day – cheese (1/2 oz) or yogurt (1/2 cup).
676912 tn?1332812551 s always been a monster, he was never below 90% for height and always above 50% for weight, mostly above 95% and 75% for height/weight. Aubryana is right now the same size Elijah was at 4 months and she's almost 9 months. Do I just have a little baby girl, or is she gonna start growing more as she gets older? I'm so used to Mr Giant.
1194973 tn?1385503904 When it comes to percentiles, is it bad for a child to be in the lower end? Kylie is showing to be in the 5th percentile and lower for height, weight and head circumference. I'm really nervous about if she is growing properly or not. At birth she was in the 50-75th for height and 25th for weight. Should it drop like that? The doctor didn't seem worried, but I'm not sure. She is 8 pounds 4 ounces and was 6 pounds 12 ounces at birth. She's still 20 inches long.
Avatar f tn I'm 19 years old, im 5'4 and I weight 151lb and my goal is to lose 30lb... my Dr. said that as long as I was between 110 and 130 I was good. And correct if I'm wrong but weight goes by hight.... So I really think that's a good goal... when are you planing to starting and how do you plan to lose those 15 lbs???
Avatar n tn Yes, absolutely normal..But,What is your height and age? U are overweight to a good extent even if u r 6 feet 6 inches tall. Reduction of weight is an honest advice to you or else yr blood sugar level will increase much with age.. Try keeping yr weight in the BMI index range for yr height. See a chart on the net.
7758733 tn?1402589420 Who knows the approximate weight of like, the placenta, uterus, body fluid and what not. I'm just really concerned with weight gain, and I'm about to be in my third trimester and I know this is when all the weight will come! I was 160 pre pregnancy and I was 172 last week, and I still have 2/3 months of weight to be gained! Any advice?
Avatar f tn So she is normal for her weight and height. She is not overweight. She still needs 1700-1800 calories per day to grow. Increasing her physical activities would not harm her and having healthier snacks would be much better.
Avatar f tn s height is along its own curve and has a rise around puberty but later than the other kids, Con Delay does not fall off a curve and weight is usually proportionate with height rather than being far below. Lets see if some more information will help and then we can talk about seeing your pediatrician and where we might go from there.
